The remain of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year old daughter, have been released to their family a week after they died in an helicopter crash that took nine lives in California.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, told DailyMail that the remains of the 44-year-old NBA legend and his daughter, who lost their lives when the helicopter crashed into a hillside in Calabasas, California, on January 26, were returned after confirmation of their identity and a cause of death was determined by investigators.

The remains of the pilot, Ara Zobayan, and passengers Christina Mauser, 38, Sarah Chester, 45, and her 13-year-old daughter Payton, also have been released, the spokeswoman confirmed.


Passengers John Altobelli, 56, his wife Keri, 46, and their daughter Alyssa, 14, are ready to be released, but have not yet been picked up by family members, according to the coroner's office.

Clergyman, Mike Bamiloye, is all about thanking God today as his wife of 31 years, Gloria, turns 56 years old.

In a post shared on his IG page, Pastor Mike who is the head of popular Christian drama group, Mount Zion Faith Drama Ministry, thanked God specifically for allowing all the ladies he previously approached for marriage to decline his proposal. According to him, Gloria is the ordained woman for him.

Daddy Freeze mocks Fr. Mbaka and other prophets for not predicting the #OkadaBan

Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze took to social media to troll Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka and other men of God for missing out Okada and Tricycles ban in Lagos during their 2020 prophecies.

Daddy Freeze mocked these prophets via a video on his Instagram page with the caption;

" See one GO prophecy, yet he no see Okada ban, he dey see earthquake for far far away country.This is going to be a year of series of joy because it is going to be a year of series of victories.

By implication, it means it will be a year of series of battles but you will win, because #TheBattleIsNotYours.

-INTERNATIONAL:This year unless you pray very hard, it is going to behave like a child that is having convulsion; Earthquakes and volcanoes that have been dormant for years will erupt, the reason is due to SIN. SIN is becoming more rampant. There will also be change of governments all over the world, some of the changes will be peaceful, and some will not."

English footballers of Nigeria descent, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori, were pictured partying with Nigerian singer, Davido during the after party of the singer's brother's wedding in Dubai.

The footballers who are in Dubai as part of their winter break, were spotted hanging out with Davido, months after they snubbed the Super Eagles to represent England internationally.

Davido is currently in Dubai for his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke's wedding and Chelsea won't be playing till 17th of February so the players decided to hook up with the singer.

According to @OdeleyeWole, he took the decision due to the hurtful things his mother said to him at that time.

Housewife Arrested For Beating Her Stepson To Death In Ogun

A 30-year-old housewife identified as Shukurat Olufowobi, has been arrested for beating her 5-year-old stepson Azeem Olufowobi to death.

The resident of the Oshodi Oke area of Ogijo was arrested after members of the public notified the police of the incident. It was gathered that the boy was beaten with an object that gave him a skull injury that eventually resulted to his death.

The lady's husband was also accused of hurriedly taking the corpse of the little boy to Ajah in Lagos state where he was secretly buried.

Ogun state police spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi who confirmed the incident said;

"Information further revealed that the woman and her husband hurriedly took the corpse of the victim to Ajah in Lagos state where he was secretly buried. "Upon getting the information, the Divisional Police Officer, Ogijo division chief superintendent of police, Suleman Baba Muhammed quickly mobilized his detectives to the scene where the couple who had started packing their belongings in a bid to run away from the area were promptly arrested.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman has been maltreating the victim whose mother has been separated from the father due to irreconcilable differences.

"The nurse who gave the victim first aid treatment had informed the couple of her observation and was pleaded with by the woman and her friend to lie about the cause of the death of the victim but she refused because it is against the ethics of her profession. .

"The couple Ayuba Olufowobi and Shukurat Olufowobi are currently undergoing interrogation at the Ogijo divisional headquarters where they are helping the police in their investigation."

Ogun Police commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson has already ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.

Ex-Corps Member reportedly refuses to be freed by Boko Haram, denounces christianity

Benue-born former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Abraham Amuta, has reportedly rejected an offer for freedom by the Boko Haram terrorists.

Instead, he reportedly told negotiators who went to the Sambisa Forest to secure his release to go back home, saying he had renounced his Christian faith and is now a member of Boko Haram, the Daily Trust reported.

Amuta was observing the one-year mandatory service in Borno State when he was abducted on 10 April, 2019 on Gwoza-Maiduguri road. He was heading to Chibok to deliver humanitarian assistance.

He was travelling alongside a 58-year-old man, Moses Oyeleke of Living Faith Church in Maiduguri and few others, including a schoolgirl, Ndagiliya Ibrahim Umar.

Pastor Oyeleke was released in November 2019. According to the newspaper, negotiation for the release of Amuta and the other captives continued until yesterday when the process collapsed at the last hour following the ex-corps member's decision to remain with his captors.

Nollywood Actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has disclosed what endeared her to her US-based boyfriend, Yemi.

The actress says she's getting married this year, but won't relocate to the US where her lover is based.

Recently, the actress posted the picture of her boyfriend on her Instagram page and a follower, who claimed to know Yemi commented that he would soon leave her because he's allegedly a playboy.

However, in an interview with Punch, the actress while explaining what attracted her to her lover said, he is a very supportive and God-fearing man, adding that his father is a pastor.

"Apart from his looks which is making people think that he is irresponsible and a playboy, he is the sweetest man any woman could ever ask for. Yemi is God-fearing, caring and above all very supportive. The God-fearing part of him is because his father is a pastor." she said.

Despite the negative comment about her boyfriend, Nkechi said she won't take her relationship off social media.

"A relationship that is destined to crash will crash even if one keeps it off social media. Why is everyone acting like this is the first time I would be in a relationship. What of all the ones (relationships) that did not make it to Instagram? Am I married now? The most important thing is how we relate outside social media, " she said.

On marriage, she said they are getting married this year, but won't relocate to the US where her lover is based.

"As regards marriage, of course it will happen this year and plans are ongoing already. However, relocating is not in my plans because I still have a vibrant career in Nigeria," she said.

Recall that Ayefele recently celebrated the birthday of his triplets some weeks ago.

The gospel singer watched on as people around him poured water on him in celebration of his day.

This is another time for celebration for the singer who has been celebrating since his wife gave birth to their first children in January 2019.
