The beautiful diva claims she is a virgin and wants to have and experience good sex before the virus gets worse.

Mzbel: I suffered horrible side-effects when I took to skin bleaching

Ghanaian singer, Mzbel has said she suffered horrible side-effects which made her decide to quit skin bleaching.

The singer who is famous for her hit single "16 years" revealed that she took to skin bleaching because she thought it was a dirty thing to be black.

She shared on Instagram: "I use to think I was ugly. I thought being black was dirty, so I took to skin bleaching and suffered horrible side-effects years later. But that is the result of self-hate. I shared my story and got help. Now I have learned to say: I'm a beautiful black woman".

Speaking with Abeiku Santana on UTV's Atuu show last year, Mzbel revealed that the regrets she had led her to a spiritual journey that finally saw her quit skin bleaching.

"I have come to understand life and I am trying to connect to who I am, as a black person I don't think I have to be apologizing for being black.

"I don't care if people start saying I am black now, being white is not who I am and anytime I see someone with dark complexion I jealous the person. I move from Church to Church because I'm on a spiritual journey to quit bleaching", she said.

Popular Yoruba actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke has replied veteran Igbo actor, Pete Edochie after he opined that men should not kneel down to propose to women.

In an interview with The culture Newspaper, the actress said that Pete Edochie is an old man and his opinion is expected of him.

"He is an old man, what do you expect?", she said.

Juventus’ Daniele Rugani tests positive for coronavirus

The club said the 25-year-old defender is currently not showing signs of any COVID-19 symptoms, but have confirmed that he has contracted the illness.

Rugani, who has made seven appearances in all competitions for Juventus this season, was named as a substitute during the club's last game, a 2-0 win over Inter Milan on March 8.

A statement from the club read: "The footballer Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic.

"Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including the census of those who have had contact with him."

Italy has been put on lockdown this week due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the number of dead nationally has risen by 196 to 827 in a day – a jump of 31 per cent.

Another Nigerian man has come out to advice other men on what it means to be a "real man" and to have a successful marriage.

The man, who goes by Prince Kellz on Facebook, said a woman having a job breeds pride, therefore real men know to stop their wives from working. He further advised that if the man wants his wife to work, he should open a business for her or place her on salary.

He wrote: "A real man should not even dream for her (sic) wife to be successful. Cuz that's the end of the marriage.

"Real men stop their wife work so that her pride will reduce. He will open business for her or place her on salary for peace to rain (sic).

"Naturally proof says that … The more woman makes money or gets successful is more she feels that there no need for a man in her life. And she will start developing rudeness, sturbon (sic), pride and more.

"Next, she will be threatening the man with divorce. Cuz she feels she can pay her bills now."

‘My experience with dating short men has been quite terrible’ – Nigerian lady recounts

A Nigerian Twitter user took to the platform to share her experience of dating short men and according to her it has been "terrible".

According to @ulomareen, some of the short men she dated had fantasies of correcting their height deficiency with her, had anger issues while others told her to stop wearing heels.

She also recounted her first kiss with a short man, which left her bending and thinking her neck was going to snap.

She tweeted;

"My experience with short men has been quite terrible. 1st date & they're already telling you to stop wearing heels. Some will start fantasizing about having kids with you so that they'll correct the height deficiency in their offspring. & their anger no be here. I no do again.

To make thing clear, I'm not mocking short men. I'm only stating MY experience as a tall woman navigating the dating circle with them. I'm 6'0 and many tall women like me can relate. And we're genuinely tired.

Nigerian media personality and leader of the "Free The Sheeple" movement, Daddy Freeze has just revealed he is dumping the radio station he had worked with for two decades.

Freeze says he's leaving Cool FM after better part of 20 years to another radio station.

Although he asked his fans to keep their fingers crossed as he plans to do the big unveil soon, but he also gave a hint that he would still be in the radio business till he ages to 80 and above.

FG insists on “no work, no pay” says ASUU strike is illegal

The Federal Government has declared the two-weeks warning strike which members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities embarked on as illegal.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige who disclosed this after the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday March 11, accused ASUU of not following laid down procedures before embarking on the industrial action.

The Minister insisted on "no work, no pay" policy as he confirmed that the Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS) led to the strike.

"I am in shock. The strike is illegal because they did not give us the mandatory notice.

"If you withdraw services and you still want to be paid, it is corruption. Is that not corruption?"

Policeman kills his wife and himself over alleged infidelity in Ondo

Ondo state policeman has allegedly killed his wife and himself over alleged infidelity on Tuesday.

A policeman identified simply as Officer Tolulope, attached to Akungba Police Station has killed himself and his wife over alleged infidelity because she was receiving phone calls from men.

According to sources, Tolulope had been having trust issues with his wife over the manner she was receiving phone calls from men. He reportedly shot dead his wife and thereafter committed suicide. The couple were said to have left a two-year-old and three-week-old children behind.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, described the incident as unfortunate. He disclosed that investigation had begun towards ascertaining the actual cause of the deaths.

Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote has reportedly suffered a huge loss of N240 billion in five hours due to coronavirus on Wednesday March 11, 2020.

The 'Dangote Group' suffered huge losses just after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared coronavirus a pandemic (spreading in multiple countries around the world at the same time) which orignated from Wuhan, China.

According to the Nation, Dangote Cement Plc which is Nigeria's most capitalised quoted company and accounts for more than 20 per cent of the total market capitalization, led the decline with the maximum daily allowable drop of 10 percent or N17, which is equivalent to net depreciation of N289.68 billion.

Dangote Sugar Refinery (DSR) Plc and NASCON Allied Industries Plc lost N1.8 billion and N3.05 billion. Dangote Cement's share price dropped by N17 from N170 to close at N153. NASCON Allied Industries declined by N1.15 to close at N3.05 while DSR lost 15 kobo to close at N9.75 per share.

24-year old man has been arrested after he allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl in Ajegunle area of Lagos state.

The 24-year old man, Daniel Udeme, has denied that he allegedly raped the 11-year-old girl and told the Police that under aged girls enjoy sex more in Ogbowankwo Lane, Ajegunle area of Lagos and it is not seen as rape.

According to P.M.EXPRESS, Udeme was arrested and detained by the Police operatives but later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command, Lagos, for defiling the victim because of her age.

The victim's parents reported the alleged rape to the Police in the area and Udeme was arrested and detained for interrogation. During interrogation, Udeme reportedly told the Police that girls within such age bracket usually have sex without any disturbance in their area and the victim never complained that she was raped because she consented to it before they embarked on the romp before her parents knew.

However, the Police found Udeme culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail. The matter was adjourned till 16th April, 2020.

Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley has been named Nigeria's most-viewed artiste on YouTube, American video-sharing platform, for the year 2019.

The streaming giant disclosed this on Wednesday in Lagos during the launch of YouTube Music and YouTube Premium, two digital services in Nigeria. The "top 10 most viewed artists in Nigeria in 2019" list also includes the likes of Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Teni, Zlatan, Chris Brown, Olamide, Wizkid and Mercy Chinwo, in that order.


Interestingly, Chris Brown was the only foreign artiste to make the list. The 25-year-old "Soapy" crooner, who was the only celebrity guest at the press event, took to his Twitter handle to inform his numerous followers about the feat.
