Actress, Stephanie Okereke-Linus and her husband, Idahosa are celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary today.

Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate their union, Stephanie shared a lovely photo from their wedding and wrote:

'Gosh! It feels like yesterday and It's still fun to laugh and play together.


Its been a beautiful and amazing journey and…Yes, I do all over again!!! Dear God Almighty, we dedicate this day to you, with our hearts filled with Love, Gratitude, and Thanksgiving. Happy Anniversary to us????##happyanniversary.'

Stephanie and Idahosa, who got married in Paris in 2012, have a son together.

Gene Deitch creator of 'Tom and Jerry' dies at age 95

Academy award-winning cartoonist, film director and producer has died. The 'Tom and Jerry' , 'Popeye the Sailor' creator was aged 95.

The American illustrator produced some of the best animations of of the 19th century.

According to The Associated Press, Dietch's death was confirmed by his Czech publisher, Petr Himmel . Himmel revealed that the famed animator died unexpectedly in his apartment on Thursday, April 16 or the following day.


Dietch's time with the popular 'Tom and Jerry'franchise began in 1961 when American production company MGM commissioned Dietch to produce 13 shorts of the animation in Prague under Rembrandt Films animation studios. Dietch wrote and directed the cartoon up until 1962.

The award-winning animator was born August 8, 1924, in Chicago and is survived by his estranged wife and three sons who are all animators.

BBNaija's Tacha shares blackmailed photoshopped nude photos

Tacha has expressed shock at the hate and bitterness she has to deal with every day as she shares the photoshopped nude photos a blackmailer sent to her.

The reality TV star shared the photos via her Twitter page on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

According to her, she woke up to messages from her team drawing her attention to the mail from the blackmailer.

"You're trying to have a good day, you wake up to messages from your team telling you to check your mail, you check your mail only to find this!! I have to deal with evil demeaning DMS every day!!! Every ******* day!" she captioned the photos.


"Talking about "we will publish them?" Publish what? Edited pictures? Publish pictures you edited? And I and my team should feel threatened? Broken heart. The hate I deal with, I pray for strength!!.

Tacha was one of the housemates from the last edition of Big Brother Naija.



Her stay in the house was marred with controversies. At some point, she was disqualified from the reality TV show for breaking the house rules.

'Tainted Canvas' wins 'Best drama feature' at Cinema New York film festival

Segilola Ogidan's directorial debut wins first international festival award.

First-time director, Segigola Ogidan is basking in the euphoria of her film's first win amid the coronavirus.

The filmmaker announced recently that her upcoming film, 'Tainted Canvas' won the 'Best drama feature' at Cinema New York film festival slated for August 2020.

The upcoming movie is based on Ogidan's postpartum depression and its adverse effect and stars Ogidan as its leading lady, Kehinde Bankole, Tina Mba and Efa Iwara.

Falz reacts after NIS threatened to sack immigration officers for participating in Bop Daddy Challenge

Nigerian rapper, Falz has commenced search for the contacts of some female immigration officers after the immigration office says they have been left embarrassed with the ladies who took part in a viral music challenge.

The challenge went viral on social media following the enforced lockdown and isolation in most cities across Nigeria.

According to the Assistant Comptroller General of the NIS, Iam Haliru, the video of the NIS women "revealed a rather disturbing and embarrassing display of indecent flaunting of your bodies, desecration of service uniform/beret and the use of inappropriate language thereby, sabotaging the values upheld by the service.

"To state the obvious, your act has caused a lot of embarrassment to the NIS and in line with our standard as a paramilitary organisation is considered scandalous and an act unbecoming of an officer and therefore a violation of PSR 030401 and 030402. This is a serious misconduct liable to dismissal from service.


"In view of the foregoing, therefore, you are requested to make a representation, if any, within 72hrs on receipt of this letter, why disciplinary action should not be taken against you."

The letter was signed by Haliru who deputizes for NIS boss Mohammed Babandede.

Popular Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington's mother, Eniiwaju Etomi, has celebrated God's blessings in her life. The actress' mother shared a post on the photo-sharing platform, Instagram, to give thanks to God.

In the post shared on her Instagram page, Eniiwaju asked her followers to help her thank God for all the blessings he bestowed upon her. She prayed that God will richly bless her followers and their descendants as they do so for her.

Celebrity stylist, Swanky Jerry, has reacted to the backlash singers MC Galaxy and Slimcase have received for having women go naked on their Instagram live sessions.

OAP Dotun, singer Ice Prince, musice Executive Jude Okoye, OAP Toolz, have come out to condemn the acts.

In a post shared on Instastories this afternoon, Swanky said he is surprised that people are criticizing things they "beg for and also promote in their art."

Chioma recovers 23 days after she contracted the virus.

Chioma tested negative for the infection 23 days after she contracted the virus.

Davido, who announced this on his Twitter page on Sunday, April 19, 2020, said Chioma tested negative twice for the infection.


He tweeted, "Glory be to God .. Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19 … Thank you all for prayers …. We love you".

On Friday, March 27, Davido took to his Instagram page to announce that his partner had tested positive for coronavirus.

He said he, his fiancee and their close associates decided to go for coronavirus test on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, because of their recent travel history.

Simi confirms she is pregnant as she shows off baby bump in new music video

Singer Simi has finally confirmed that she is having a baby with her husband Adekunle Gold as she showed off her baby bump in a new music video for her single.

There have been reports that the singer is pregnant with her first child but she confirmed it with the release of the music video to her new single 'Duduke'.

In the video, Simi is spotted wearing a beautiful silk flowing dress with her protruding belly.


The 32-year-old also released the video on her birthday which was on Sunday, April 19.

To mark her special day, her husband paid tribute to her with a cute message on Instagram.

"As a young man that was just trying to figure life out, you had just come into my life and my world started changing magically," part of Gold's post reads.

"God must have looked at my unworthy ass struggling through life and decided to bless me with a good luck charm."


Simi and Gold wedded in a beautiful but private ceremony back in 2019.


Unlike the traditional wedding which had a larger turnout, the white wedding was reportedly attended by selected 300 guests.

Kelly Hansome shares screenshots of threat messages he received from his baby mama as they fight dirty on Instagram

The singer's latest move is coming barely 24 hours after his baby mama had call him a deadbeat dad on Instagram.

The singer took to his Instagram page on Monday, April 20, 2020, where he shared screenshots of the alleged threat messages he received from Ronke.

According to him, even though his wife begged him not to share the messages online, he wanted everyone to see the threats his family has been receiving from his aggrieved baby mama.

Hansome's latest move is coming less than twenty-four hours after Ronke had taken to her Instagram page to drag him.

In a long post shared via her Instagram page, the mother of one narrated her ugly experience with the singer.

She said Kelly is a dead beat father to their daughter and their little girl now calls someone else "dad".

"Woke up today looking at my beautiful daughter n I'm so grateful to God although it's sad that d man she calls DAD isn't her real father n I laugh at how I've wasted opportunities n years with a good for nothing man," she wrote.

"I thought it was love but I was being played! I supported and encouraged him, accommodated him also even when I was warned by family n friends that he made me turn to enemies because he didn't want me to see d light. LADIES BE CAREFUL OF THE MEN YOU SUPPORT


She also claims Kelly Handsome alienated her from her family when they were together and accused her of being a prostitute whenever she assisted him in achieving something he thought was impossible.

Hansome recently proposed to his fiancee.

Funke Akindele says she has learnt a lot after her arrest and trial for disobeying the lockdown order issued by the government.

The actress and her husband, JJC Skillz where both found guilty in court for hosting a house party despite the lockdown order issued due to coronavirus.

In a video message on Sunday, April 19, 2020, the actress thanked everyone for the love and support shown to her during her ordeal.

"Thank you for all the love, support, feedbacks and calls, I really appreciate. These past few weeks has been a learning curve but we must keep moving forward, she said.

"My dear friends, coronavirus is real. We all must continue to collaborate with the Lagos state government and the federal government by staying at home.


The actress went to hammer on the need for Nigerians to practise social distancing and good hygiene during this period.

Akindele thanked all the health workers who have been on the frontline of the pandemic since it's emergence and paid condolence to the families of those who have lost loved ones as a result of the disease.

Akindele and JJC Skillz on Saturday, April 4 hosted a party at their house which sparked Twitter backlash the following day. The party was to celebrate Skillz's birthday.


Police arrested Akindele before the Nollywood icon and her husband were arraigned before the magistrate court.

The couple was sentenced to 14 days of community service with a fine of N100, 000 each.

Kunle Afolayan commissions script for upcoming movie titled 'Ódu'

Kunle Afolayan is set to take film lovers on a time travel to the 16th century with his upcoming film, 'Ódu'.

Nollywood filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan has unveiled his next project post- Covid-19 as an epic feature film set in the ancient Oyo Empire.

The script for the upcoming picture titled 'Ódu' has already been commissioned as confirmed by Afolayan in a recent IG Live interview with Pulse. The new movie was originally billed to be a series titled 'Ódu: The Capsule of Tales' but the ace movie maker further disclosed that he decided to make a feature film first due to the length of time required to produce a series.


Afolayan shared: "I commissioned my next script this week thanks to the lockdown. ' Ódu: The Capsule of Tales' which is to be set in the Oyo empire 16th century. I know series takes time so I am going to make a movie version titled Ódu set in the 15th/16th century and that is the film that I'd be shooting next'.

Timaya says his new album is titled, 'Gratitude'

On April 20, 2020, Nigerian singer, Timaya took to his Instagram to announce the title of his album, his willingness to release it and tell his fans the reason for the delay. He went ahead to then ask his fans if he should release the album.

According to Timaya, the album is titled, Gratitude. He said, "Beautiful people, what's good? Listen. I was supposed to be bringing out my album, titled 'Gratitude.' I've been waiting for this corona period to get over, but I don't see that coming any time soon. So what do you want to tell me, should I drop it? I'm asking because I don't want to look too insensitive, but trust me, I want to drop that album... It's fire.

Inkblot productions' 2019 blockbuster, 'The Set Up' is set to premiere on Netflix this Wednesday.

Niyi Akinmolayan's suspenseful drama, 'The Set Up' is finally joining the increasing number of Nollywood titles currently streaming on Netflix.

The 2019 blockbuster will premiere on the American streaming platform this Wednesday, April 22, as confirmed by the film's makers.

Starring Tina Mba, Joke Silva, Adesua Etomi, Dakore Akande, Kehinde Bankole and Jim Iyke, 'The Set Up' follows the story of Chike (Adesua Etomi Wellington) and Grace (Kehinde Bankole) who find themselves caught in a manipulative web spun by Enitan (Tina Mba).

Nigerian music icon, King Ayinde Wasiu Marshal popularly known as KWAM 1 has come out yet again to deny the rumours of having an affair with one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo.

In an Instagram live chat with veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, the music icon denied the rumours.

While speaking in Yoruba dialect, KWAM 1 said the people who started the malicious rumor are enemies who are only jealous the monarch bestowed the Title, Mayegun of Yorubaland on him in January this year.

''It will be a taboo for me to ever think of such a thing in my head," he said.


It would be recalled that the rumours of the affair between the music icon and Queen Ajoke Adeyemi broke the Internet a few days ago.

According to the reports, the young queen was sent out packing from the palace over her alleged infidelity.

The singer later released a press statement denying the rumours. He, however, stated that he would be filing a lawsuit against his detractors.
