Award-winning Nigerian Singer, Yemi Alade has taken to her social media page to dish out some words of advice for her fans.

The "Johnny" crooner advised her fans to quit crying because no one cares, she alsp stated that when they also smile, people would still get jealous.

Former queen, olori Chanel Akanbi claims her former husband, Oluwo of Iwo used to beat her and even cheated on her with their maid while they were married.

Chanel Akanbi (born Chanel Michael Chin) whose marriage to oluwo of Iwo in Osun State (South West Nigeria), Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi ended five months ago has disclosed some more dirty stories from their marriage during an exclusive interview with AsabeAfrika TV.

The Oluwo of Iwo had announced across both conventional and social media that he had sacked his beautiful Olori from the palace, laying claims to irreconcilable differences and more as reasons for the action.

During the interview, Olori Chanel Akanbi revealed how the Oluwo of Iwo used to beat her and how he cheated on her severally even with their house maid.

She also clarified the Oluwo claim that he caught her with a man in his palace.

Reno Omokri tells online beggars – “He's not a nice man”

A former aide to ex-president, Reno Omokri has a message for online beggars.

Taking to his Twitter page, Omokri stated that he is a wise man, not a nice man, thus anyone trying to emotionally blackmail him will fail.

In his words;

"I am a wise man. I am not a nice man. Don't come on my TL to tell me that if I don't give you money you will starve.

"Then you end with 'don't let me starve'. You have data. You have phone. You are the one who is choosing to starve!"

Zanetti recounts moment Taribo West frustrated his Team with 3-hour prayer sessions

Ex Inter Milan defender, Javier Zanetti entertained his fans with a hilarious event he witnessed with former Nerazzurri teammate, Taribo West, on a recent live video.

Javier Zanetti said there was a time that Taribo west invited himself and other colleagues over for dinner but turned it into a prayer session, much to the frustration of the players.

Zanetti revealed the hilarious incident during an Instagram live session with Christian Vieri, another former Inter star.

The former Nerazzurri captain added that after Taribo made them pray for hours, they had to leave without waiting to have the dinner they came for.

He said, "A month disappeared in January. He returned after a month and said 'I got married; a month of vacation is expected in my country".

"Another time he invited us to dinner, we arrived at 8-9 and he prayed. An hour, two hours, three hours. We went away without dinner."

Taribo and Zanetti both shared the same locker room between 1997 and 1999 at the San Siro, where the defender turned pastor made a total of 44 appearances and was able to find the back of the net on one occasion.

He won the 1997-98 UEFA Cup for Inter Milan in an all-Italian final against Lazio, being their third title in eight years in the competition.

Kehinde Olorunyomi has given women a lead on activities between their hubby and female housemaid that should attract suspicion.

Kehinde who once revealed that she is so certain her husband can never ever cheat on her, wrote in a new post on social media that wives should beware when their husbands begin to discipline the house girl excessively.

She tweeted: "When your husband beats your house help too much, be vigilant my sister, he is sleeping with her or the girl is proving difficult to sleep with."

The actress added on Instagram: "When you employ a female help, the onus is on the woman of the house to correct and sometimes discipline the help. But when your husband is on this train and is in total charge, in fact he loves to be the one to cane the girl, be vigilant my sister! My 2 kobo. Have a beautiful weekend! Actor, Ibrahim Yekini Bakare acquires new car

Popularly known as Iteledicon, the Yoruba actor and filmmaker, Yekini Bakare recently acquired a Toyota Highlander. The news was shared on social media by his friend and actor, Shoneye Olamilekan.

We found this shortly after we reported that Hushpuppi announced on social media that he had just acquired a new Rolls Royce Cullinan 2020 to keep the company of his Wraith.

Jennifer Lopez sued $150,000 for posting photo of herself on Instagram

Jennifer Lopez is being dragged to court over posting a photo of herself on Instagram.

According to court documents filed in New York, a professional photographer Steve Sands who photographed a photo the "Ain't It Funny" singer shared, is suing her with her management over copyright infringement.

The image in question was posted by 50-year-old in 2017 and according to a report by Fox News, Sands is now arguing that it was used without his permission to "promote their brand" to her millions of Instagram followers.

"Defendants did not license the Photograph from Plaintiff for its Website, nor did Defendants have Plaintiff's permission or consent to publish the Photograph on its Website," the lawsuit reads and at the back of it, Sands' legal team is demanding $150,000 settlement.


Sands' attorney, Richard Liebowitz, told the news portal in a statement that: "This is an example of celebrities using photographers photographs without permission to brand themselves on social media. The number of likes the photograph receives coupled with their number of social media followers is a tool to commercialize their posts."

On the other hand, Representatives for Lopez did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

Chika Ike donates to the less privilege in Lagos amid Covid-19 lockdown

The actress says she is focused on helping motherless babies and less privileged homes.

Nollywood actress, Chika Ike has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to donate to the less privileged amid the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

The surge of the virus has seen several celebrities donate to the poor and needy in the country.

In a series of photos shared via her Instagram page on Thursday, April 23, 2020, the actress in collaboration with her team went out to share food items to the motherless homes and less privileged homes.


"These past few weeks have been a trying time for everyone. My team and I focused on making donations to some motherless babies and less privileged homes. But we decided to hit the streets this week," she captioned one of the photos.


Chika Ike joins the growing list of celebrities who have donated to the less privileged since the lockdown.

Recall that about a week ago, music star, Banky W in collaboration with some well-meaning Nigerians took out time to share food items in some selected areas in Lagos state.

The comedian says the only way the lockdown order can be fully effective is if the poor are adequately taken care of by the privileged members of society.

Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun also known as AY says the only way the lockdown orders can work across the country amid coronavirus surge is when the rich decide to help the poor by providing food items.

Since the surge of coronavirus, various state governments including that at the federal level have issued lockdown orders across the country.

According to the comedian in a series of posts shared via his Twitter and Instagram pages on Friday, April 24, 2020, the only way the stay at home order can be fully effective is when the rich decide to help the poor with food.


"All we keep hearing daily is "STAY AT HOME".The rich want the poor to stay home to avoid the spread of Corvid19, but HUNGER VIRUS won't allow the poor to stay home. We can only control d spread of d virus when the rich help the poor by providing enough food to stay at home," he tweeted.


"Two main pandemics at the moment we are fighting...... 1. Coronavirus 2. Hunger virus. Two main groups of people at the moment fighting the pandemics...... 1. The Rich and 2. The poor. The global irony and the African outlook...... The rich are afraid of the virus.

"The poor are afraid of hunger. The rich want the poor to stay home to avoid the spread, but hunger won't allow the poor to stay home. The poor fear that if they stay home, the hunger virus will kill them.


"The rich fears that if they also come out of their homes the coronavirus will kill them....... What a delicate situation we have ......... Opinion: In other to restore the world or Nigeria to its normal social equilibrium. The rich should assist the poor with food so that they can stay at home.


"When the rich succeed in keeping the poor at home by providing enough food. The spread of the coronavirus which the rich fears the most will be chased out! This is common sense.....Yet because some people have the microphones, all you hear is ...... "stay at home".......... "stay at home". The surge of the virus has made several state governments issue lockdown orders which have been met by condemnation by many, especially the poor.

At the time of publishing this article, Nigeria now has a total of 981 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 31 deaths.

Also, 197 patients who have fully recovered from coronavirus have been discharged.

First teaser for 'In Ibadan' a Taiwo Egunjobi film

The upcoming feature film stars Temi Fosudo, Goodness Emmanuel, Chris Anyanya, Babatunde Aderinoye, Similolu Olatunji, and veteran Nollywood star, Sola Fosudo.

Taiwo Egunjobi has released the first teaser for his debut feature film, a love story 'In Ibadan' and it's a beautiful ode to the ancient city of Ibadan where it is set.

Written by Issac Ayodeji, 'In Ibadan' is based on an exquisite tale of estranged lovers, Obafemi and Ewa whose return to the ancient city after five years sends them spiraling back to the past.


The film is produced by Centrestage Productions and ContentDock. It stars Temi Fosudo, Goodness Emmanuel, Chris Anyanya, Babatunde Aderinoye, Similolu Olatunji, and Nollywood veteran, Sola Fosudo.
