Williams Uchemba promise to provide accommodation and education for sisters living under telecom mast

Posted: 30 Apr 2020 03:30 AM PDT

The actor says a new apartment and free education for the two sisters till they graduate from university has been provided.

Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba says he will be helping provide accommodation and education to two sisters and their parents who live under a telecom mast.

According to the actor, he discovered the family back in 2019 when he went on an outreach to feed the poor and needy during the yuletide season.

"December last year I came to this slum to give them food for the Christmas holiday and whilst I was distributing food I saw these young girls studying in-front of their house ( I mean the house you see in the picture above). I asked them some questions and I was amazed at how intelligent they are, he wrote.

"I asked for their parents but they said they've gone out to look for their daily meal. They are not only living in an unhealthy, dangerous area with area boys all over the place but they live under a telco mask ( which can be very harmful to humans). Why should anyone live in such a condition not to talk more of children?

"The reason I decided to post this picture is because they are not the only ones living in this condition, there are a lot of them even in your neighborhood and I'm encouraging you to reach out to the ones around you. But as for these ones, My Friend/Partner in the US, Dr Nancy, and I @williams_uchembafoundation have decided to move them out of this place ASAP.

"I have contacted a housing agent to look for a good apartment, so we can furnish it and move them in, and Dr Nancy has agreed to put them on scholarship in any school of their choice till they graduate from the University. For us to have a nation we desire Human capital and personal transformation has to come before Infrastructural development and national transformations.

"A nation is never built by one sector alone but a collective effort of not only several sectors but individuals, Captains of industries and Nation-builders. #EachOneReachOne #thegivechallenge #stayhomestaysafe❤️

This is not the first or second-time Uchemba will be coming to the aid of the needy in the society.

Recall in 2018 when a photo of a little boy sleeping by the side of the road with his wares went viral.

Well, Uchemba didn't only react to the photo with comments as he took it upon himself to help get the child out of the street.

Lady Accuses Singer, Brymo Of Sexual Assault

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:00 PM PDT

A young lady has accused Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, aka Brymo of sexual assault.

According to the victim, she visited Brymo with a friend, only for the singer to sexually assault the both of them.

Narrating the sad ordeal on Twitter, she wrote;

"I was raped by brymo I had mentioned to her that I knew him personally and she wanted to meet him as she was a huge fan of his. So I called him to confirm if it was okay to bring a friend over to his place and also if he was at home and he said it was. When we got his place, we listened to music, talked about music and random stuff and drank wine.

Everything was going okay. Until he got up and went to sit beside my friend. He started touching her and I could tell she was uncomfortable and she also complained about feeling fuzzy (we believe she was probably drugged) so I told him to stop and that we were leaving.

I brought out my phone and was about ordering a taxify when he told me he wanted to talk to me. I told him I'd talk to him later but we had to leave. But he insisted and told me to go with him to his room to talk as he didn't want to talk in the presence of my friend. I leave.

But he insisted and told me to go with him to his room to talk as he didn't want to talk in the presence of my friend. I stupidly went with him. When we got inside, he asked me how I could be so stupid as to bring a friend over and expect nothing to happen.

He started shouting and kept calling me stupid for making such a mistake. At his point, i was already scared so I just kept apologizing so he would let us go. He then said he couldn't let me go like that as he was already horny and had to be satisfied.

There was no way I would have been able to leave if I didn't do what he wanted so I did. At some point my friend got worried and came banging on the door. He told me that he'd have sex with her too and I had to beg him to leave her out of it. He started laughing like the sicko that he is and I was so scared."

Lady who gave birth to set of twins accuses hospital of stealing one

Faith Obinna, a 31-year-old woman who recently gave birth to twins at St. Raphael Divine Mercy Hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has accused the hospital management of stealing one of her twins immediately after birth.

The victim, who did several scans in the same hospital which revealed that she was pregnant for twins, claimed she was sedated on the day she had a caesarean section and was later presented with only one of the twins.

The Obstetric scan report dated 26: 02: 2020 and which has the doctor's name as Otutuoja, indicated that the number of fetus in Faith were twins.

While calling for immediate help from well-meaning Nigerians and the government of Lagos State, she said:

"I delivered on 6th March at Saint Raphael hospital, I had caesarean section because I was pregnant for twins.

Before the cesarean session, I had done three scans in the same hospital, which confirmed I was pregnant with twins.

On the day of the caesarean section, we were three women who delivered their babies through caesarean section.

I was the only one they gave sleeping injection even when I told the doctor before the time not to administer it but they did so that I won't know when they took my baby but when they brought the two babies out I was still partially conscious because of the injection."

However, the hospital through a management worker who pleaded for anonymity explained that the lady gave birth to a baby and not a set of twins.
