Nollywood Actress, Susan Peters: God Took Away Everything We Left Him To Worship

Posted: 04 Apr 2020 12:30 AM PDT

Actress Susan Peters has shared a post which shows that coronavirus was caused by God so he could stop people from worshipping sports, celebrities, money and others.

Accordingly to Susan Peters, the world might actually be in need of a revival to guide it onward in a godly way instead of a coronavirus vaccine.

This comes barely 24 hours after the actress sparked a COVID-19 controversy by blaming Bill Gates.
Read her post below.

"In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship.

"God said, You want to worship athletes, I will shut down stadiums and arenas. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down every venue. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market.

''You want to worship your own bodies, I'll close down all the gyms. You want to worship your own intellect and pat yourself on the back with a graduation, I'll close down your schools. You want to place your trust in your friends and not in Me, I'll make sure you can't even meet with them physically. You don't want to seek my face and worship Me, I will make it where you can't go to church.

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Maybe we don't need a vaccine, maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters….JESUS!!! Start the revival in your home……Spread the Love of Jesus. Amen!".

The feud between Tonto Dikeh and Stella Dimoko Korkus appears to be far from over

Posted: 04 Apr 2020 12:00 AM PDT

The blogger took to her Instagram page on Friday, April 3, 2020, where she shared a very disturbing post.

Tonto Dikeh and Stella Dimoko Korkus have been at loggerheads for a while now.

On Friday, April 3, 2020, Korkus took to her Instagram page where she made a statement which for many looks like it was directed to Dikeh.

"Trouble dey sleep yanga dey wake am up. You said you would belittle yourself if you talk about me in the interview question When you were asked about your problems with me?" she wrote.

"Honey you belittled yourself when you went to Dubai to chop sheet. Mscheeew. Ant thinking it is a butterfly. Please my people coronavirus is real. Wash your hands and stay home.

This renewed rift might have started after Tonto Dikeh's interview with Ubi Franklin on Thursday, April 2, 2020.

Ubi in the interview had asked Dikeh about her issues with Korkus, a question the actress mockingly refused to answer.

Dikeh and Korkus made the headlines late in 2019 when they dragged each other on social media over various claims including fraud and stealing of an undisclosed celeb's boyfriend.

There are reports that the rift started after the news of Tonto's alleged deportation broke on social media. She, however, came out to deny the deportation rumours.

Ubi Franklin says he really wished Tacha didn't make it to Big Brother Naija

Posted: 03 Apr 2020 11:30 PM PDT

Ubi Franklin says former housemate of Big Brother Naija, Tacha attacked him on social media for not helping her get a place at the reality TV show.

During a live chat with the winner of the last edition of Big Brother Naija, Mercy Eke, the media mogul shared his not so nice experience with Tacha.

''Let me tell you something and I'll tell you on this live chat. And I pray I get the contact of whoever is managing Tacha to bring her to this show. Before Tacha went to Big Brother, one person I never wanted to see on Big Brother was Tacha," he said.

"The reason is that she went on Big Brother, she was on her page every day. I didn't know her and had never met her from anywhere. I felt really hurt. One day somebody sent me her page and was like this girl is always abusing you, who is this? I now checked.

"Why was Tacha abusing me...she was abusing me because she sent me a DM asking me that she wanted to Big Brother and I told her that I didn't have links to take to Big Brother and after I said that, she attacked me.

Tacha was one of the housemates from the last edition of Big Brother Naija. Her stay in the house was marred with controversies.

At some point, she was disqualified from the reality TV show for breaking the house rules.

14 days of bliss in a Lagos lockdown with bae? Likely not!

Posted: 03 Apr 2020 11:00 PM PDT

When isolation was just an idea floating around, the likelihood of staying at home with your favourite person in the world and the numerous possibilities of what you could do with so much time on your hands would have caused flutters in the belly of anyone.

But with an initial period of at least 14 days and whispers of a probable extension, things could get watered down just a little bit [or a whole lot] before you know it.

And don't be surprised if one or more of these three issues rear their heads in your relationship before the end of the lockdown:

Patience wears thin

That you would be with a partner for an uninterrupted 336 hours without somehow getting on their nerves, or they on yours, is quite unlikely. Matter of fact, if you somehow pull this off successfully, send me an email at – ayoola.adetayo@pulse.ng, I'd want to hear about how you did it.

I might have one or two things to also learn from your patience and absolute accommodation. Maybe dash you and your bae something too.

But I digress. The point here is this: issues are very likely to rise in this period and your conflict resolution skills will be put to test.

Anywho, here's a free tip to help you pull through; always remind yourselves that it is you both against the issue, and this period of being locked down together can actually be good for trashing out issues, sorting out differences and understanding each other better.

Sexual problems become unavoidable

If you have sexual problems that you've been trying to mask, or sex-related stuff that you have been running away from addressing, these 14 days will likely expose those hidden problems, or make the tough conversations totally unavoidable.

On the bright side, think of this period as a time to find answers and get some clarity – at last.

You get stressed out

Being together 24/7 for at least two weeks isn't the norm for most couples, so finding it a little [or very] stressful is kind of expected.

When this happens though, be careful to not take it out on your partner. Also be sensitive enough to know when they need a little space to be with their thoughts.

But it's a two way thing, just as one partner is mindful of these things, the other definitely has to do same. If not, kasala will definitely burst.

The Daniel Ademinokan directed romantic drama is now showing on YouTube

Posted: 03 Apr 2020 10:30 PM PDT

With increasing cases of the novel coronavirus and cinemas in select Nigerian cities closed for business, filmmakers are now seeking out other exhibition mediums.

Nollywood filmmakers, Daniel Ademinokan and Stella Damasus recently joined the list with a straight-to-YouTube release of their 2018 film, 'Between'.

The romantic drama premiered on Mon Afrik TV's YouTube page on April 2, 2020 after initially premiering at the GlennFest Film Festival in Downey, California back in 2018.

This won't be the first straight-to-YouTube release of a Nollywood film. Even before the coronavirus outbreak, filmmakers without huge budgets for cinema exhibition have resorted to YouTube to monetize their productions. In 2018, Lola Adelek also took the same approach for the release of her award-winning romantic film , 'Plan B'.

In 'Between', Stella Damasus stars as Chelsea Hollis, a successful 36-year-old who seeks love again after four divorces. Travis Grenier, Lynne Jenson, Erin E. Feest and Tatiana Zappardino join the veteran actress as supporting acts in the Daniel Ademinokan directed film.

The public relations expert in a video shared via her Instagram page on Thursday, April 2, 2020, said she was surprised that the Lagos state commissioner of health would come out in the public to say he doesn't know the whereabout of Kyari.

''Guys, so the Lagos state commissioner of health just said he doesn't know Abba Kyari is currently located. Abba Kyari is President Buhari's Chief of Staff and we don't know where he is? Whether he is in Lagos receiving treatment or in Abuja at home, self-isolating, did he even go anywhere to get treatment or is he out of the country...nobody knows," she said

"How can you say you speak to him over the phone or Whatsapp and you just presumed that he is fully recovered. We need to know as Nigerians if he is fully recovered. Information is key, do not lie to us, do not keep information away from us, thank you very much.

Kyari tested positive for coronavirus last week, days after he returned from Germany which is a high-risk country.

He had failed to self-isolate and took part in high-profile meetings with the president and other top government officials.

In a statement on Sunday, March 29, Kyari revealed that the reason behind his move to Lagos is for additional tests and observation and based on medical advice.

As at the time of publishing this article, Nigeria has 190 cases of coronavirus.

However, 20 patients have recovered and discharged from centres where they received treatments.

The disease has also spread to 13 states in the country, but so far, only two deaths have been recorded.

"Good morning my Family, friends and Fans. I have something very important to tell you and I will really appreciate your audience. I am very disappointed that someone somewhere will try to tarnish my image and threaten to destroy my career of over 45 years. This morning, I received messages from somebody threatening to expose very old pictures of me and in the process, blackmailing me for money.

These could've been pictures of me in the hospital or even with my partner, but is this what has become of us?? I plead with everybody out there to be very careful as our current situation has made people very desperate. I am almost 60 years old, I have worked very hard and made a name for myself for somebody to believe that they can threaten and trample on my feelings, this is very sad.

So I have decided to share the messages and pictures sent by this person with everyone for you all to see! Thank you and God bless you! For you the blackmailer, I refuse to be bullied by you as I'm sure that I'm old enough to be your MOTHER!!"
