BBNaija Khafi cancelled her wedding with Gedoni because of her family members

Big Brother Naija relaity Tv star, Khafi has revealed that her wedding to Gedoni was supposed to hold today, 4th of April 2020 but due to uncontrollable circumstances, the wedding has been shifted.

According to the 30-year-old, her family members were not in support of the date she chose for her wedding. Reason being that they needed enough time to prepare for the wedding ceremony.

She, however, had no choice than to move the wedding, succumbing to her family's wish.

Khafi who said she has no regrets shifting the wedding added that if she did not listen to her parents, she would have been disappointed and would have moved the wedding not because of her parents wish but because of the coronavirus crisis.

Tacha speaks against introduction of 5G Network in Nigeria

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha, has taken to her Twitter page to speak against the introduction of 5g network in Nigeria.

The reality star tweeted;

"5G will substantially increase exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields..
If you're not alarmed about the DANGERS of 5G radiation to HUMANS and to the ENVIRONMENT you should be.. iSAY NO TO 5G in NIGERIA

Where are the HEALTH BODIES and ORGANIZATIONS !!
My own take is "For the SAKE of LIVES please FG we don't want!! 3g still does it for me and WELL!!! we BEG YOU!"

Recall, Femi Fani-Kayode also spoke on the issue and he advised the president not to accept any form of help from China.

Nigerian singer, Niniola Apata on Friday refused to allow her younger sister, Teni D'Entertainer enter into her home in Lagos over coronavirus fears.

Teni shared video clips which captured the moment her eldest sister locked her outside her house and refused to open the gate.


In the video, Niniola admitted she was scared of contracting the deadly disease and asked her sister why she defied the lockdown order.

The 'Maradona' crooner also managed to push her sister outside before locking her gate.

Samklef – Nigerians please never vote for any president with a military background, U will regret it

Nigerian music entertainer and music producer, Samklef has cautioned Nigerians against voting for any president who has a military background.

According to the singer, they will regret it if they still go ahead to elect one.

The statement which was made via his official Twitter handle on Friday, 3rd April has since been seen by many as an indirect shot at President Muhammadu Buhari.

He wrote:

"Lastly, Nigerians pls never vote for any president with a military background. U will regret it mark my word. Good night."

Instagram comedian Twyse has penned a lengthy apology to everyone for speaking up for colleague Sydney Talker.

Recall days ago, Sydney had cried out on social media that he was having COVID 19 like symptoms and had been refused test.

Not long after reports surfaced that the comedian may have been trying to pull a prank on the NCDC and it backfired.


Taking to his IG page, Twyse tendered an apology for supporting Sydney as he thought the latter was telling the truth.

It's over between Channing Tatum and Jessie J...again.

The 39-year-old Magic Mike actor and 32-year-old British pop star have called it quits, E! News confirmed on Saturday, more than two months after they had reconciled following a brief split.

"It was an amicable breakup," a source said. "They had tried again to make it work but realized they were better off as friends."

Channing and Jessie have not commented on the split, which was also reported by other outlets.

E! News had first learned the two were dating in October 2018. They broke up a little more than a year later, then reconciled more than a month later, this past January, and made their red carpet debut as a couple, at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Aerosmith, a pre-2020 Grammys event.

In February, they spent Valentine's Day together and also spent quality time with Channing and ex-wife Jenna Dewan's 6-year-old daughter, Everly Tatum. Jessie and the little girl had themselves a cute dance party at home.

In March, Channing posted a cryptic viral quote on his Instagram Story, which read, "Your relationship doesn't need to make sense to anyone, except you and your partner. It's a relationship. Not a community project." He captioned the post, "Facts."

Jessie appeared to be in good spirits in an Instagram video posted on Friday night, which showed her covering Whitney Houston's "Queen of the Night."

Katy Perry; California girl! has shared the sex of her first baby with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.

"It's a girl," the pregnant "Small Talk" singer, 35, captioned a photo of Bloom, 43, smiling into the camera with pink frosting on his face via Instagram on Friday, April 3.

Perry disclosed that she would have love to welcome a little girl at the ICC T20 Women's World Cup cricket final on March 8.

"I hope it's a girl," she told the crowd in Melbourne, Australia, while showing off her baby bump in a pink, retro-themed dress.

The "Roar" singer announced her pregnancy with the release of her "Never Worn White" music video on March 5. In the video, Perry unveiled her baby bump while wearing a sheer white dress.

"Omg so glad I don't have to suck it in anymore. Or carry around a big purse lol," the California native tweeted at the time.

Later that day, Perry explained that she felt sharing the news with her fans in a music video was the best way to make the announcement.

"I am excited. We're excited and happy," she said in an Instagram Live video. "It's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep. I like to tell you guys everything, but I knew I would tell you in the best way, which was through a piece of music because that's how I speak to you. That's how we speak together with each other."

Days later, the Grammy nominee opened up about why she decided now is the time for her to finally be a mom.

"I wasn't ready a couple years ago, and I did the work to get ready," Perry said during her appearance on "Fifi, Fev & Byron" on March 9. "So now I see a baby and it's just time for me. It's the right time."

She added, "I'm that girl that had the box [of] baby clothes before there was even a thought or even an Orlando Bloom. I'm excited about that."

The Lord of the Rings star was previously married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013. The former couple share 9-year-old son, Flynn. Perry, for her part, was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.

Pedro Sanchez, the Spanish Prime Minister said on Saturday he would ask parliament to extend lockdown measures by 15 more days until April 26, as infections and deaths rates slowed again in one of the world's worst-hit nation.

The Prime Minister in a nationwide television broadcast, said the current lockdown was beginning to show results, but he was quick to warn that Saturday's extension of the country's state of emergency would not be the last.

"We are at the start of the decrease in the epidemic. We are stronger than we think but we have to endure. With sacrifice, resistance and the spirit of victory," he said, adding that some economic restrictions would be lifted after Easter.

"We are not going to extend the standstill of economic activity," he said. Shops, bars and restaurants will, however, remain closed.

Dino Melaye: Government must not allow 5G network its evil and the cause of Coronavirus

Dino Melaye has called for the demobilization of 5G network which he claimed has been mounted in some parts of Nigeria.

The former Senator who described 5G network as evil, stated that it kills the immune system, affects the respiratory system, causes cancer and hypertension and indirectly causing the deaths of Coronavirus patients.

He back his statement by sharing videos in which plants growing near a 5G network were affected by the fifth generation of wireless communications technologies.

Dino Melaye stated that some deaths can be avoided by stoping the deployment of 5G network in the country.

He tweeted;

Whether it is true or not that they are already laying cables of 5G in Nigeria or not. Govt must not allow it in Nigeria and should take a proactive step in that regard. 4G that is here in Nigeria sef na problem. 3G dey do everything i need i beg… We must watch out…

Vector – Telecomm companies are taking Nigerians on a ride with bad internet service

Nigerian musician, Vector has blasted telecommunication operators for providing poor internet service despite taking peoples money to offer quality connection.

The rapper who was obviously disappointed in the quality of service provided, took to social media to call them out, stating that at a time like this where internet is needed, it is still poor.

"I still don't get how companies that distribute internet services are okay with taking Nigerians for a ride with wack internet service and still take their money! Even at times like the one we're in right now, your internet is still trash.

"When you call people now, the fools will advice you to wash your hands but they forget they are doing it already for us with taking out money till the end and not take customer care serious," he wrote.

Crying in the video, she said: "My man is in jail, I'm going through all these. I've been by myself for months, I'm struggling, I'm paying my bills, I'm going through it.

She added: "It took a lot of courage because I'm the only one in this. Nobody is in support of me, not my family, not my friends, nobody, nobody is in f***ing support of me."

Davido, few days back revealed that the mother of his son, Chioma tested positive to the virus even though she's asymptomatic. He also revealed that himself and his son both tested negative to the virus.

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh is not through with helping poor Nigerians during this period of coronavirus lockdown happening across the country.

The lockdown is to keep people safe and ensure that the virus is not transmitted further but many Nigerians have complained of hunger.

Many celebrities have risen to this challenge and contributed their quota to their fans and followers who need help.

A few days ago, we reported that Tonto Dikeh shared her plans to distribute hundreds of hand sanitisers to Nigerians who cannot afford to buy one.

Recently, she called on Nigerians who sell foodstuff to identify themselves as she noted that she wants to buy bags of food from them.

The mother of one explained that her foundation, which is named after her is about to start its raw food bank drive. She stated that she would be helping 5000 Nigerians to sustain their homes during this period.

According to her, she would be donating, 300 tins of tomatoes, 10,000 bags of pure water, 10,000 noodles, 10,000 bread, 130 bags of beans, 130 bags of Garri, 2000 multivitamins and 2000 immune system booster.

She called on people selling the listed items to identify themselves. She noted that the items have to be delivered a day after the first payment has been made.

COVID-19: FG speaks on what happened to the billions donated to fight

The Federal Government has revealed that the billions donated by wealthy Nigerians towards the fight against COVID-19 didn't go into government coffers.

This was made known by the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the taskforce, Dr Sani Aliyu.

According to Aliyu, the money goes into a separate account not run by government.

Aliyu said: 'The private sector has a separate fund which is run through the Coalition Against Coronavirus Disease.

"That's where you get most of the announcements that this person has given a billion and this is a separate account. It has nothing to do with the government and the money will not come to the government.

"We appreciate the help of the private sector in helping us and they will be providing us with commodities but the money they are currently collecting will not come to the government.

"It is a separate bank account"

COVID19- Tekashi 6ix9ine has been released from jail

American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was released early Thursday afternoon into house arrest over fears that his chronic asthma puts him in the high-risk category of contracting Coronavirus.

"He's out and he's very happy to be released," his defense attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told NBC News after Judge Paul A. Engelmayer granted his motion for compassionate release.

Citing safety concerns, Lazzaro declined to reveal where Tekashi would stay for the final four months of his two-year sentence.

The 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, had been serving a 24-month sentence after pleading guilty to nine charges including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery at an upstate New York prison. He has already served 13 months of his two-year sentence, and was due to be released in August 2020.

The decision to release him to home confinement comes as New York City is battling the spread of the coronavirus, including in prisons and jails with at least 180 cases of coronavirus already confirmed at several jails in the City.

According to NME, 6ix9ine will serve his first four months of home incarceration with supervision, which will be enforced by GPS monitoring. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, he will have to stay at his residence unless he asks permission from the probation department to seek medical treatment or talk with his lawyer.
