| Daddy Freeze: WhatsApp is the cause of coronavirus not 5G network Posted: 06 Apr 2020 12:30 AM PDT  Reacting to the viral news that 5G network is the major reason people are dying in their numbers of Coronavirus in other countries, controversial On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze has penned down his own perspective.Although Nigerians from different quarters have been pleading to the government not to allow 5G network into the country, Daddy Freeze is of the opinion that the main problem Nigeria is facing is WhatsApp Broadcast message which is a notable means of disseminating false information.He shared the image above and wrote, "The fear and unfounded conspiracy theories being peddled on WhatsApp are our near and present danger, not 5G.-WhatsApp has become the medium for spreading the modern day 'Jewish myths' the Apostles complained about and when it's in the hands of religious and superstitious people, it becomes a looming catastrophe. Yes, there might be some level of danger associated with a technological breakthrough, but it's a far cry from the exaggerated claims of WhatsApp theorists, who will go as far as spreading rumors about the COVID19 vaccine being the 'antichrist' and all manner of utter buffoonery. If there is anything the Government needs to ban, its WhatsApp! | Daddy Freeze comes for French doctor who suggested that the new COVID-19 drug be tested in Africa Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:30 PM PDT  Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has slammed the French doctor who suggested that the new COVID 19 drug be tested in Africa.Recall that French Doctor, Jean Paul Mira and his colleague, Camille Locht spoke on a live TV interview, insisting that Africa is the best place to conduct the new Coronavirus drug test as they recalled how an experimental treatment for AIDS was carried out in Africa.His suggestion in no time sparked outrage online as many took time out to slam and drag the doctor. Seeing the level of outrage, the doctor tendered an apology but this of course was of no effect on many. | 9 year old girl donates N950 to fight coronavirus in Ogun state Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:00 PM PDT  A 9-year-old girl, Oluwashikemi Ogunleye who donated a sum of N950 to Ogun State government as her personal contribution to the fight against Coronavirus global pandemic in the state, has been commended by Governor Dapo Abiodun over her selfless attitude.The governor made the revelation while speaking to journalists at his Iperu Remo residence in Ikenne Local Government Area of the State.The Governor said,"I am particularly thrilled by the small but very significant donation from the youngest donor so far, Oluwashikemi Ogunleye. She used our USSD Code to donate 950 Naira. "Oluwashikemi, I am proud to be the governor of a philanthropist like you. You are indeed the symbol of giving of ourselves to ourselves, and the future we are building together. I call on others to come forward and support the fight against COVID." The Governor also took to his verified Facebook and Twitter handles to celebrate the little girl. On his Facebook page, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun – MFR, the Governor said Oluwashikemi followed the footstep of philanthropists who have proven that humanity remains intact.  He wrote, "Not all superheroes wear capes. Little Oluwashikemi Ogunleye, who is our youngest donor so far, used the State USSD to donate 950 Naira to the Ogun State COVID-19 Pandemic Support Fund. | Bishop Sam Zuga says salt and sugar Solution can cure Coronavirus Posted: 05 Apr 2020 10:00 PM PDT  Nigerian Bishop, Sam Zuga of House of Joy Ministry has said he recently unveiled the solution to tackle the dreaded disease, Coronavirus disease and other ailments.In an open letter written to President Muhammad Buhari and Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, the Bishop seeks permission to use his spiritual formula H2O+NaCl+C12H22O11+ 33°C = 37²7/322 on Nigerians.His letter reads: "Your Excellencies, President Muhammad Buhari through Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, I wish to turn Adamawa State into a medical destination like India and Germany. I want to share with you the formula that would make Coronavirus bow; H2O+NaCl+C12H22O11+ 33°C = 37²7/322. It is a combination of water, salt and sugar boiled to a certain temperature. 3 teaspoons of salt, 7 cups of water fetched with plastic cup. It must be a plastic cup. The 3 spoons of salt should be added inside the water, then 7 cubes of sugar. Place it on the fire, boil it for 7 minutes. The boiling temperature should be 33°C . When they all come together, it would become a Solution. This formula shall be served by drinking a cover of any bottle water, 3 times in the morning, 2 times in the afternoon and 2 times at night for 7 days. Those that don't have a cover of bottle water, can use table spoons. 7 covers of any bottle water from the solution can also be added inside the bathing water of the patient. He said; "Normally. I will just let things pass but this has to do with life and death owing to the COVID-19 that we know about. I think responding will be very apt and quite germane. "I just got couple of people who sent messages to me showing me the backlash and stuff going on concerning the buckets (he shared). "I am not averse to criticisms. As a matter of fact , I love criticisms. But you see, I love criticisms when they are constructive. "There was not even one (comment) in the whole social media space that has said, 'Look at how you can do this.' There is a lot of negativity out there and I wonder why. "If you read my post, and I just remembered you guys on social media don't read, I said makeshift. It was something I was gonna test-run and see if it was gonna work. To the world, it was not working, to the people, it was. "What is it about my face being there? If I wanted to score points, I would have put my face in the bags of garri and in every bag of rice. | Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:00 AM PDT  The Delta State Government has reacted to a video of soldiers threatening to rape and infect women in Warri with HIV.The video was supposedly made by two soldiers who were threatening to carry out the act in retaliation of the attack soldiers suffered, after they killed a youth leader identified as Joseph Pessu for disobeying the lockdown order in the state.The video was however described as "fake" in a statement released by the Delta State Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu on behalf of the state government. He insisted that some disgruntled elements are bent on pitching the people against the State Government.Aniagwu who stated that the video misrepresented the Nigerian military, added that the military command whose responsibility it was to deploy personnel had also debunked the video.He said; "Let me thank Deltans for their cooperation so far and urge them to discard the concocted videos aimed at causing disaffection between the military and Deltans. "The concocted video clips were aimed at causing disaffection between Deltans and the security agencies carrying out lawful duties. "While we appeal to our people to remain law-abiding, it is imperative to state that videos trending on social media are not a true reflection of happenings in the state. "We, therefore, call on our people to discard the videos and continue to remain indoors as directed by the government to enable us to curb the possible outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state."  |
| Posted: 05 Apr 2020 03:30 AM PDT  Lai Mohammed, Nigeria's Minister of Information and Culture, has warned that the lockdown order issued by President Buhari on Sunday March 29, might be extended if Nigerians don't behave themselves.The Minister disclosed this at a press conference by the Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus in Abuja on Friday April 3. Lai Mohammed urged Nigerians to observe social distancing and a good hygiene, so everyone can get back to their normal lives after the 14-day lockdown.Lai Mohammed said;"If we don't behave ourselves, there is a likelihood that the lockdown will be extended, but if we behave ourselves, there might not be an extension and I hope we do so. "If we stay at home for two weeks and we are doing everything we are supposed to do, we should be able to effectively contain the disease. "Therefore, my appeal to Nigerians is that they should obey the directive on social distancing, personal hygiene and shun gatherings; after two weeks, we will resume our normal life. "But if they think it is a joke, then we may have to stay at home more than the two weeks."  |

She wrote;  Ok gotta tell you a story: listen up : Life was good, life is still good and guess what? It's gonna get better! I can't even complain about being indoors right now cuz Lord knows how bad it would be if this happened to me 5 years ago when I was staying in a house with no water and light coming off & on with a newborn baby that doesn't stop crying and sweating and mosquitoes that won't stop biting ( thank God we don't look like everything we been through lol) .. nah! It just crossed my mind like yesterday (as u know we all got some spare time to think) and somehow this whole situation came in handy as a tool of introspection, it helped me spot the obvious difference between our lives back then and our lives now, and even though I find myself getting all inpatient and restless with this whole idiotic situation, I steady remind myself that I must be stupid to let myself be anything less then grateful, and I don't know your struggle and your problems, but I pray for you to see, find and acknowledge, from the bottom of your heart, that no matter where you stand at this moment , no matter how it seems to you right now , it ALWAYS, ONLY gets better, and once you do, you have changed the damn game in your favor! It's not on you to know how it's gonna happen, just make sure you know it's gonna happen. I promise you and you need to trust me on that. | Soldiers who threaten to infect Warri women with HIV finally arrested by Nigeria Army Posted: 05 Apr 2020 02:00 AM PDT  The Nigerian Army has arrested soldiers in a viral video who threatened to forcefully sleep with women in Warri, Delta state and infect them with HIV over the killing of their colleague.The video which had trended on social media recently was vehemently condemned by Nigerians.In response to the condemnation, the Army announced the arrest on its Twitter handle on Friday, April 3."Soldiers in a viral video using uncouth and uncivilized language purportedly threatening to molest women in Warri Delta State were arrested at 9 Brigade Ikeja Military Cantonment Lagos State today 3 April 2020 and further investigation is ongoing," the Army wrote in a tweet.  |
