| AMVCA Covid-19 patient has been discharged after recovery Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:00 AM PDT  The Nigerian man who attended the 7th AMVCA while positive to coronavirus has finally been discharged after recovering.Seun, a photographer who returned from the UK, had attended the movie awards event and mingled with celebrities without knowing he carried the deadly virus in him.Expressing gratitude for a speedy recovery, he wrote:"The elephant has left the building. #covid19defeated Firstly all glory belongs to God. I want to thank everybody that has shown support, stood in the gap in prayer, offered messages of encouragement. I miss my #LagosCovidGang2020 (ward mates) already. "I can't wait till they are all out. Thank you @lagosstategovt Special thanks to Prof Akin Abayomi the Commisioner of Health, what a great man. The actress confirmed casting Marley in an apology video shared on social media on Sunday, April 6, 2020 after the singer was caught partying alongside members of her family and crew during a recently held house party to celebrate her husband's birthday. She further revealed that principal photography was to officially kick off on April 1 but due to the coronavirus outbreak, production activities halted. Work is however ongoing on production of soundtracks with Naira Marley.  | ||

Adele had announced that she was divorcing Konecki back in September 2019.According to Daily Mail, the financial details of their divorce will be kept secret while they will have joint custody of their son, Angelo.A source told The Sun: ''Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don't want that. They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues.''Since her split from Konecki, Adele has been linked to UK rapper, Skepta. Adele filed for divorce from Konecki back in September 2019 after their separation in April that same here. Adele and Simon's relationship and later marriage have always been kept away from the prying eyes of the public.  The couple after their separation earlier in the year, announced that they were "committed to raising their son together lovingly." | Naira Marley turns himself in, to be arraigned in court over lockdown violation Posted: 06 Apr 2020 04:27 PM PDT  Controversial Nigerian Singer, Azeez Fashola otherwise known as Naira Marley has turned himself in at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State.The state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, who confirmed this, said the singer arrived Panti on Monday afternoon April 6, and has been interrogated. He will also be charged to court for violating the restriction orders.The police say the command has launched a manhunt for the remaining persons who attended the party organized by Funke Akindele and her Husband over the weekend. | Funke Akindele and husband sentenced to 14 days community service with N100k fine each by the court Posted: 06 Apr 2020 03:35 PM PDT  A Magistrate court sitting in Ogba, Lagos state has sentenced Funke Akindele and her husband Abdulrasheed Bello to 14 days community service each.The court also directed them to pay a fine of N100,000 each.Funke Akindele and her husband had over the weekend held a house party which breaks the lockdown rules.Lagos State police said they have intensified "efforts to arrest the remaining persons in the video".Following the furore, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and cleaning products company Dettol have distanced themselves from Akindele, saying she hold no official ambassadorial position with them, despite appearing on the video they produced together. | Posted: 06 Apr 2020 03:30 AM PDT  Tacha has called out Ubi Franklin for the Instagram Live interview he did with Mercy where he stated that one person he didn't want to see in the Big Brother Naija house was Tacha.Ubi said during the interview that Tacha had once sent him DM begging him to help her with his connections so she could get into Big Brother house. He said he told her he didn't have such connections and after that, she began doing videos to insult him online.Ubi didn't end there. He had another Instagram Live interview with Tacha's former manager Teebillz and during the interview, Ubi said that he got Teebillz endorsement deals for Tacha.Tacha hit back in an Instagram Live video of her own.In the video, she had on a crown then took off the crown to insult Ubi, before wearing the crown back. She said in the video that she has turned down numerous deals and Ubi can't claim he got her deals. She then went on call out Ubi, saying: "Ubi Franklin, you have kids to take care of, you have people you owe money. Are you done focusing on that?" She added: "The nerve, the effrontery for you to actually say, 'if there's one person I didn't want to see in the Big Brother house, it's Tacha'. Who are you? Are you my God? Are you God? According to Ifeoma Chukwuogo, the man flew in from the UK and with symptoms of coronavirus but had refused to report himself to the NCDC for testing.In a new Instagram post he shared, the photographer revealed that he is receiving treatment for Coronavirus at Yaba Isolation Center.He wrote; A message from the Lagos Covid-19 Gang (Coranavirus patients currently in Ward B) at the Infectious Disease Hospital (Coronavirus Isolation Center) Yaba, Lagos.
