Wizkid sends love to everyone spending lockdown away from family

Nigerian music star, Ayo Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid, sent his greetings to everyone as the world battles to curb the impact of the coronavirus.

Wizkid finally joined the number of celebrities that have done their bit to send love and encouragement to their fans as they socially distance themselves during this period.

His message particularly targeted those who the lockdown has kept away from their family and loved ones.

Covid-19 is hard as it stands but the idea that one could be on lockdown either in a country or a city with no close family member or friend makes it even harder.

The Father of three says he understands what people who are spending these times away from their families are going through and all that he can send them is love and light.

"Love to everyone spending these crazy times without family!…"

Nobody has the manual for parenting. Many parents are doing their best to bring their children up in the right way. Meanwhile, a lot of people reveal that they would like to do better than their own parents.

However, while raising their kids, there may be some things that are done that may be putting the wellbeing of their children at risk.

Actress ChaCha Eke Faani took to her social media page to write about this. The mother of three shares 15 things that parents may not be doing right.

1. If your children lie to you often, it is because you over-react too harshly to their inappropriate behaviour.
2. If your children are not taught to confide in you about their mistakes, you've lost them.
3. If your children have poor self-esteem, it is because you advise them more than you encourage them.
4. If your children do not stand up for themselves, it is because from a young age you have disciplined them regularly in public.
5. If your children take things that do not belong to them, it is because when you buy them things, you don't let them chose what they want.
6. If your children are cowardly, it is because you help them too quickly.
7. If your children do not respect other people's feelings, it is because instead of speaking, you order & command them.
8. If your children are too quick to anger, it is because you give too much attention to misbehaviour & you give little attention to good behaviour.
9. If your children are excessively jealous, it is because you congratulate them only when they successfully complete something & not when they improve at something even if they don't successfully complete it.
10. If your children intentionally disturb you, it is because you are not physically affectionate enough.
11. If your children are openly defiant, it is because you openly threaten to do something but don't follow through.
12. If your child is secretive, it is because they are sure that you would blow things out of proportion.
13. If your children back-answer to you, it is because they watch you do it to others & think its normal behaviour.
14. If your children don't listen to you but listen to others, it is because you are too quick to jump to conclusions.
15. If your children rebel it is because they know you care more about what others think than what is right.

The handsome actor who recently clinched the best actor awards at the AMVCA 7th edition, has been dragged mercilessly for dating an 'underage'.

Although some twitter users have taken sides with Timini, insisting that the young lady is already an adult since she's above 18, some others are not willing to let it slide.

Actress Eniola Badmus reacts to alleged ₦500,000 giveaway fraud

Eniola Badmus has come out to react after she cane under serious heat from her followers on Instagram for allegedly holding onto a sponsors N500,000.

Eniola Badmus was given the sum of N500k to share with some poor Nigerians to help cushion the effect of the lockdown caused by the deadly COVID-19 in the country and she held onto the money after the sponsor refused to pay her N150,000 for the giveaway services.

The Screenshots of the DM leaked online shows that Eniola Badmus only mentioned the 150,000 charges after the man had sent the money. She had already posted the 500,000 giveaway on her Instagram page before the deal went sour.

To worsen the case, Eniola Badmus has allegedly blocked the sponsor from reaching her.

The actress has now clarified the issue with a new post on her twitter page.

She wrote;

"I woke up to this and i thought it would be nice to give clarity and clear the air on it. The incident hasn't nothing to do with taking advantage of people or discouraging the need to give out especially using my platform.

This particular person indicated interest to do a five hundred thousand Naira giveaway and i felt there will be extra cost for bank charges and stamp duty, which i wasn't going to bare the transfer charges for that, so i asked he bares it.

But in scenarios where people engage you as an influencer to drive giveaways from a business point of view, then business conversations need to happen.

Meanwhile i posted the giveaway already on my page and his been enjoying the fame because he insisted i put his handle.

We all know sending money to 100 people is quite tasking, is just funny the way people are quick to judge."

Reports gathered that the video vixen was electrocuted on wednesday night while charging her phone at a video director's home in Omole Estate, Lagos.

Nigerian comedian – who is also a Naval officer – Abdulgafar Abiola aka CuteAbiola, has been arrested by the Nigerian Navy for celebrating his birthday by posing in his official uniform on Instagram.

Harrysong appeals to President Muhammadu Buhari to 'Stop borrowing money from other countries'

The singer's statement is coming barely 24 hours after the presidency announced plans to borrow N850B to fund its projects in the country.

Nigerian music star, Harrysong has appealed to President Muhammadu to stop borrowing money from other countries.

The president had requested to borrow the sum of eight hundred and fifty million naira to fund projects in the country.

The music star made this known via his Instagram page on Monday, April 28, 2020, where he expressed his displeased over plans by the government to borrow money to fund its projects.


"Buhari invest in education, it is never too late, start paying students, we need brains to sustain this country's economy and please stop borrowing money from other countries oooooo. I dey shake ooo," he wrote.

Harrysong's statement is coming on the heels of the news that the presidency will be borrowing the sum of eight hundred and fifty billion naira to fund its budget.


According to the head of media at the Debt Management Office, Mrs Chinenye Onu, the reason behind the decision was to ensure that the implementation of the 2020 Appropriation Act was not jeopardised by lack of funds.
