Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has taken to her official Instagram page to pen a heartfelt message to her mum on the occasion of her birthday.

The screen diva, in the message, described her mum as 'My Amazon queen, my Boss lady, my best friend, my confidant, my mentor, my teacher, my prayer warrior, my reminder, my cheerleader.'

"This woman gave birth to me and I am so grateful to God that I came through her. MARIA THERESE DAMASUS. Happy birthday, mummy. I love you more than words can describe.

Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire & his fiancee Fern Hawkins announce the birth of their second child, a baby girl

Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire and his fiancee Fern Hawkins have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl.

The 27-year-old center-back took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon to share the good news and revealed they have named the newborn child, Piper Rose Maguire.


He shared an adorable image of him and his fiancée with their newborn in the hospital and wrote:


"Welcome to this crazy world our second baby girl Piper Rose Maguire xxx You are SO loved."

Maguire and his fiancée Fern now have two girls. They welcomed their first child, Lillie Saint Maguire in April 2019.

Nigerians react as Ubi Franklin fumbled when asked the full meaning of JAMB

Music executive, Ubi Ofem popularly known as Ubi Franklin has been called out by Nigerians.

This is coming after the music artist manager and the founder of record label Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) fumbled when asked the full meaning of JAMB.

In an Instagram live session with Natalia Mufutau, Ubi brough up the JAMB discussion. When Natalia asked him what it means, he fumbled woefully as he failed to give her the correct answer.

"Joint Administration… Joint Admission and Management Board" Ubi said


For the record, the full meaning of JAMB is; Joint Admissions and Matriculation board.

However, Nigerians have taken to social media to mock the serial baby daddy.

Popular American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor, Christopher Maurice Brown alternatively known as Chris Brown has in a recent post he shared today on social media, claimed that "God is a female."

Today is Mothers Day in North America and other parts of the world and singer, Chris Brown took to Instagram to celebrate the women in his life; his mother – Joyce Hawkins, Baby Mama – Ammika Harris and Royalty Brown – his 5-year-old daughter he had with ex Nia Guzman.

Sharing pictures of his mother, Baby Mama and daughter, Brown who recently gave Davido a huge surprise, wrote;


"HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ GOD IS FEMALE… my momma is a gos to me."


Making a second post which contained just a photo of his Baby Mama, Ammika Harris, he wrote; "I don't play when it comes to this woman right here… I love you momma ❤❤❤❤❤"

Multi-award winning Nigeria singer, David Adeleke simply known and addressed as Davido has taken to his official Twitter handle to celebrate his late mum on the occasion of mother's day.

Celebrating his late mum, the singer shared a photo of the deceased while carrying him on her lap.

He then asked her to continue to rest in peace while informing her that he is currently 'troubling' the world.

Davido lost his mother in 2003 when he was just a kid.

He wrote, "Happy Mother's day MAMA Keep resting in Perfect peace! We Dey worry dem down here. Wish u were here."

Savage welcomed Jamil with her then-husband, Tee Billz back in 2015.

The music star made this known during a chat with American singer, Tamar Braxton on her YouTube show on Wednesday May 6, 2020, where she got to talk about life as a single mum and a successful career.


According to her, because of her busy schedule and tours, she missed out if a lot of new habits her son developed.

For Savage, to compensate him for her absence she would get him every and anything he asked for.


"I have to be very honest with you. First, I used to buy him gifts when I travel so when I'm coming back I will buy him everything. One time, he said he likes dinosaurs and I bought him 56 dinosaurs. I mean like a whole suitcase full of dinosaurs," she said.

A Nigerian lady, @lusciouspeenut on Twitter, has called out and accused a Deputy-Minority Leader of Ondo State House of Assembly and Member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Tomide Leonard Akinribido.

The lady accused Tomide of promising to marry her, taking all her money to fund his election and disappearing after he won the election.

"This guy fraudulently lied to me that he wants to marry me. Took all my money to fund his election and disappeared immediately after winning the election. His friends and members of his family were in on the scam and they cheered him on."

She continued;

"After he had achieved his mission he sent @Bobbyoba to come and tell me that it was his mother who kicked against him marrying a non Yoruba. Every single thing Bobby told me that day I recorded it all."


Her accusation is coming shortly after the young lawmaker shared lovely photos from his traditional marriage ceremony on Twitter followers.

Tomide is yet to respond to the lady's call out, but people have already started reacting to the post.

The 33-year-old is one of the youngest Lawmakers in Nigeria.

Eedris Abdulkareem has given an account on how Charly Boy and Festus Keyamo allegedly sold him out after his backstage and airplane fight with 50 Cent.

He made this know in an Instalive chat with music producer Samklef. Eedris Abdulkareem disclosed that he had a fight with 50 cent at an event organized by a multinational company after the American rapper insisted that all Nigerian artistes must leave the backstage when he stepped in.

He further disclosed that he had another fight with him after 50 Cent said he can't share a jet with Nigerian artistes.

Eedris also claimed the multinational company reneged on their agreement of giving him same thing they gave 50 Cent.

Eedris Abdulkareem also alleged that Charly Boy took money from the multinational company to blacklist him and spread" fake information" after the fight.

Iceprince begs God to get him back to his good old days

Legendary Nigerian rapper, Panshak Henry Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince has in a recent post begged God for inspiration to enable him write a new song as sweet as "Whiskey", a hit jam he dropped 7 years ago.

The Super Cool Cats recording artiste and former Chocolate City Entertainment label signee is roughly 16 years old in the Nigerian music industry and has churned out series of hits such as Oleku, Superstar, Juju, Aboki, VIP and several other chart topping songs since his emergence in 2004.

Notably, Ice prince also has 3 great music albums to his name; Everybody Loves Iceprince (ELI) in 2011, Fire Of Zamani (FOZ) in 2013 and Jos To The World (JTTW) in 2016.


Ice Prince who recently condemned people who share their problems on social media is likely experiencing diminishing return in his artistic career and has therefore cried out to God for more inspiration to enable him reel out more hits.
