"I've been quiet for far too long!" the caption reads. | Tacha praises Falz for defending female officers who participated in #BopDaddyChallenge Posted: 16 May 2020 10:30 PM PDT  BBNaija's Tacha has praised Folarin Falana also known as Falz, for reaching out to the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammed Babandede on behalf of the five female officers who participated in the viral #BopDaddyChallenge.The entertainer who is also a Lawyer, yesterday, reached out to the NIS boss asking him to reconsider the terms of punishment meted out to five female officers of the Service. His letter to the Comptroller-General, Muhammed Babandede read in part; "Recent news surrounding five female officers of yours who came under fire for featuring in a fun video online has particularly caught my attention. "The said ladies were pictured changing from their official uniforms into casual outfits while my music was playing in the background. "Immoral behaviour' 'Sabotage' & 'Any other act unbecoming of a public officer' were the offences levelled against them as they were alleged to have caused 'a lot of embarrassment to the NIS.' "Consequently, I have also learnt that the Service has decided to post these officers to remote areas of the country as a punitive measure. The Senior Staff Posting Order dated 12th May 2020 stated that the posting be 'at no cost to the service' and be done 'on or before 19th May 2020'.  "As a terribly concerned citizen, I am writing to you a second time as my initial attempt to reach you via text/WhatsApp was met with no response. "The Public Service Rules which guide the operations of the Immigration Service state that any senior officer seeking to be posted or transferred must submit an application for such transfer listing his or her reasons for desiring such transfer (Chapter 2 Rule 020503). "The Public Service Rules also state that 'Officers on posting, transfer or on assumption of duty on new appointment at their new station, different from their city/town of domicile shall be entitled to transport fare for self… In addition, they shall be eligible for hotel accommodation for the first 28 days or an allowance for the first 28 days in lieu of hotel accommodation (Chapter 13 Rule 130105). "Had the posting been in order, the seven-day time frame accorded the officers would have been an impossible one as inter-state travel is currently prohibited. "In the light of the above, I respectfully request that you further reconsider the decision to post these officers. "It is important that we continue to breed a strong sense of solidarity particularly during these trying times. Hopefully, we can defeat this pandemic together." In response to the letter Falz wrote to NIS, the redeployment of the 5 female officers has since been suspended.  |

| Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson to sue woman over paternity claim Posted: 16 May 2020 07:00 AM PDT  Tristan Thompson is said to have taken a paternity twice on the request of the woman in question.Reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian and former partner, and NBA star, Tristan Thompson have threatened to sue a woman over paternity claim.EOnline reports that the lady in question, Kimberly Alexander has been sent a cease and desist letter over claims of having a child for Thompson. The letter which was sent to Alexander on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, states that she should "immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications" regarding a paternity claim that surfaced online. The letter also revealed that after Thompson had taken a paternity test twice on Alexander's request, she still went to spread outrageous lies about him.  "It has been proven that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child and we demand that you stop claiming that he is and that he and Ms. Kardashian somehow falsified the paternity test results," the letter also read. "It is defamatory per se to falsely assert that someone is a deadbeat dad who allegedly does not support his children, and to falsely accuse my clients of faking paternity test results."  "We demand that you immediately cease and desist from defaming my clients on social media (irrespective of whether or not the accounts are public or designated as 'private') and elsewhere. We also demand that you immediately take down any and all of your outrageous damaging posts about my clients."  Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed their daughter True Thompson, 2, in 2018. Their relationship fell apart in 2019 following a cheating scandal.  |

| Ghanaian singer, KiDi, sacked from live interview for coming late Posted: 16 May 2020 05:30 AM PDT  KiDi has been shamed for appearing late for an interview he has been booked for on Accra FM.The presenter, Nana Romeo, did not hide his frustration whilst calling out the "Say Cheese" singer for showing up late for his "Ayekoo" show.According to him, the situation happens to be the second time KiDi has appeared late for his interview on the channel."The time is 11:25, it is left with just 35 minutes and you are now here, what time are we going to use to do the interview? Last time you did same and apologized but you've made it happen again, I feel embarrassed," the singer replied saying that "I don't understand why you are attacking me, it's not nice". Romeo continued that "I have to do that because anytime I book interviews, nobody has done this to me … so you should tell me why. Say it so I want to know if the problem is with the show or the host. I've told your P.A we can't do the interview again because time is fast spent." The Lynx signed the act in reaction said "if the interview won't happen fine, I apologize again, I don't mean to disrespect anybody, it's just fine, I just don't like the way I've been spoken to this morning but it's ok, I apologize for being late" and walked out. | Victoria Inyama reveals her ex-husband maltreated her even during messy divorce Posted: 16 May 2020 04:30 AM PDT  Inyama narrates how he humiliated and got her arrested in the presence of their three children.Veteran Nigerian actress, Victoria Inyama shares her chilling and disturbing encounter in the hands of ex-husband, Godwin Okri, during their messy divorce.The actress made this known during an Instagram live chat with Malin Anderson, a UK based mental health advocate."He would tell me 'I know a lot of people in prison, my clients that owe me a lot of favour because they didn't do long term and I'll just waste you and nothing is going to happen.' At that point I just told him that I'm ready to die, I'm not coming back to you, he said alright, we will see about that," she said. Inyama went on to narrate the harrowing experience she encountered with him at the peak of their messy separation. "He would bring his girlfriends to my house to drop off the kids and one day I said can we just go for a divorce and he said you can't divorce me, I owe you, you are my property, divorce me? I said you've moved on, you are living with another woman in your house, he said 'so? you are not in my house anymore, there has to be a woman in my house' and I requested a divorce.  ''He went on to say 'first of all you cant divorce me and second of all, which man is going to want a woman with three kids? The film producer announced on Thursday via Instagram that his company, Play Network is already putting final touches to its latest project.Play Network's drive-in cinemas will be launched in both Lagos and Abuja according to Okpaleke who said: " We are about to launch the first ever drive-in cinema in the city of Abuja and Lagos.
