Nigerians have dug up an old tweet of award winning singer, Davido hailing Cynthia Morgan for her talent.

This is coming barely an hour after the singer showed his interest in signing Cynthia Morgan to his record label after she opened up on the challenges facing her career.



 In the old tweet, Davido praised Cynthia Morgan, calling her a talented artiste, while praying for her to surpass him in the music industry.


In his words;

"Cynthia Morgan God bless you! Your talented! I hope U reach were I have conquered and even surpass me!! Stay blessed"

Throwback video of Cynthia Morgan calling Davido a “Fvck Boy”

A throwback video has surfaced on social media showing the moment Cynthia Morgan hurled insults at 'damiduro' crooner, Davido.

The video dates back to 2016, the year a serious beef existed between Cynthia and Davido, two artistes who were dominating the industry at the time.



 After winning best reggae/dancehall act at the just concluded Headies, Cynthia Morgan went on snapchat to lay insults on Davido because he endoresed Lil Kesh as his favorite atiste on the same 'Next Rated category' Cynthia Morgan was equally nominated for.


She had shared a video where she mocked Davido, by mimicking his infamous voice saying: "And the award for the best reggae/dancehall category is Cynthia Morgan."

"F_ck boy ina this industry. Let them know who demma fuck with," she added.

Music executive, Jude Okoye has reacted to the report of Cynthia Morgan accusing him of her career misfortune.

'Cynthia Morgan destroyed all the bridges I built for her.' - Jude Okoye Recall that Cynthia Morgan explained that she lost her stage name 'Cynthia Morgan', Instagram and VEVO account, and more because of the contract she signed with Jude Okoye. 

The singer also revealed that she has been off the radar because of a life-threatening illness.

In reaction to the damning claims, Jude Okoye in an Instagram live session with, Tunde Ednut revealed that he never prevented her from using her stage-name and the decision to change the name was hers alone, a decision he kicked against.

Is Cynthia Morgan free right now ?

Jude replied ;

She has been free since 2017.

On the name change and contract issue, Jude said ;

I don't understand, if she has a contract where it is stated like that, she should bring it so we can see. The one i have here is not different.

How can i hold her name, which court can grant it ?

You want to do things on your own because you think you can do things on your own, then you failed and you want to put the blame on me.

Two years after you left the label, your social media accounts are still yours, you are still going on shows behind me and you still want to blame me for your failure. If you put the blame on me, would that make you rise again ?

I have never for once told CYNTHIA MORGAN that she cannot use her name. I had no power to take that name, it is physically impossible to do that.

"Did I chase her with a court injunction? No.

What exactly did I do wrong? I shouldn't have let you go when I left? Your contract hasn't expired and you left. I let you go.

Before she left, she wanted to change her name to Madrina says it means 'Godmother. I advised against.

Cynthia Morgan talks about losing everything to Jude Okoye

Cynthia Morgan in an Instagram live chat with former Miss Globe Nigeria, Cassandra, has opened up on her fall out with the CEO of her former record label 'Northside Records', Jude Okoye.

The dancehall star who now goes with the name "Madrina" recalled how she lost her stage name "Cynthia Morgan", her VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account and other things because of the contract she signed and the record label issue she had with Jude Okoye.

Cynthia Morgan stated that she had damaging information on Jude Okoye and could have won if she pushed further, but she decided at that time that it wasn't necessary.
She later became depressed and had to  relocate to Benin to save cost for treatment of an illness that almost took her life.

When asked on why she didn't opened up at that time, Cynthia Morgan said she wasn't ready to spill the beans because she believed it was a phase of life she would surmount.

Cynthia Morgan also revealed that some of her colleagues in the music industry reached out to her  but she didn't say anything because it was all centered on work which she wasn't ready to get back to then.

The singer who disclosed that she doesn't want to sign under a label anymore, said she is now open to partnership and hoping to stage a comeback.

Nigerian artiste, Jaywon appears to be in defense of owners of music record label in Nigeria as a lot of people drop their opinions following the issue between Cynthia Morgan and her former record label which has been trending online.

Jaywon weighed in on the heated debate in his response to a social media user that said "The careers of so many Nigerian artistes had been ruined by record labels. I feel for them. Self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy has thrown a shade, and people are saying it's aimed at Davido.

Recall that earlier today, Davido took to his social media pages to post a photo with Wizkid and tagged it; "The 2 greatest of all time ! No 🧢" .

Few hours after his post, Burna Boy wrote on Snapchat;

"You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team."


Burna Boy and Davido are now currently trending on Twitter Naija and people have been reacting to the shade which they say is for Davido.

Tacha slams those calling her; Khafi a gossip

Former big brother Naija housemate, Tacha is standing up for her BBN bestie, Khafi Kareem, by going berserk on "hypocrites".

Tacha who was disqualified from the show made a video inside a car, slamming those who call Khafi a gossip and a two-faced person, when they all do same thing.

"I understand that you don't have to be friends with someone, but that doesn't mean when you see blue, you outrightly call it red, because you are not friends with the person.  It just doesn't make sense.

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo's daughter, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo has slammed Burna Boy for shading Davido after he tagged himself and Wizkid 'the greatest of all times.'

19-years-old Priscilla took to her Twitter to react, saying she is thanking God that Burna Boy didn't win the Grammy Award.


"I just want to thank God burna boy didn't win Grammy Award. I said what I said!" she tweeted.



Recall that in January, Burna Boy who had Nigeria buzzing after being nominated for the Grammy Awards in the World Best Music Album category, lost to Beninese singer-songwriter, Angelique Kidjo.


That was not Angelique Kidjo's  first win. Her first win came in 2007 in the Best Contemporary World Music category.

She also picked a Grammy each in the Best World Music Album category in 2014 and 2015 for the albums Eve and Sings respectively.

Man warns Regina Daniels says, “If you abort that baby, I will pray for God to take your life”

A Facebook user identified Chris Uche taken to the platform to accuse billionaire wife, Regina Daniels of planning something terrible against her hubby, Ned Nwoko.

According to Chris, Regina just married Ned Nwoko for his money and she is doing everything possible to abort the child she is carrying, because she doesn't want to raise kids for him.

Chris' allegations came after he saw some photos of Regina Daniels working out at the gym. According to Chris, Regina Daniels doesn't want the baby she's carrying for Ned Nwoko, that's why she's doing such a stressful excercise.


Chris said he doesn't understand what a pregnant woman would be doing in the gym when she knows she stands a risk of losing her baby if she stresses herself at this time.

The forever 16 Nollywood actress made this known in a recent screenshot she shared on her Instagram Story.

Regina Daniels took to her insta story yesterday to show off a photo of the new tattoo she got for herself.


Her mother went emotional moment she saw it was actually her name that her daughter tattooed on her back.

"Oh my, please you're making me cry now" her mother reacted to her story.

Regina Daniels who was happy her surprise package had effect on her mum laughed in return.

Nigerians rain praises at Williams Uchemba who just fulfilled his promise for a family living in a slum

Nigerian Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba has made lots of Nigerians shed tears out of excitement after he brought out a wretched family that has been living in a slum for 13 years and built them a new house.

The actor who also doubles as a comedian made this known in a video post he shared on Thursday via his Instagram page.

Williams had in a previous post narrated how he went into an undisclosed slum to distribute Covid-19 palliatives and found a certain family living in heartbreaking condition right in the slum.


A slum is a squalid and overcrowded urban street or district inhabited by very poor people. In Nigerian pidgin parlance, such places are called "Ghetto".

According to the actor, what attracted his attention was a little girl reading on a pavement and when he enquired to know where she lives, was devastated to see the nature of their room.

As depicted in the pictures and video shared, the little girl, Chiamaka her sister, Chisom and their mother, Mrs. Chukwudi lived in what most Nigerians call "Batcher", a house made of wood and covered with old dilapidated zinc roof and pieces of cartons.

According to story told by the family, their slum home gets flooded each time it rains.


Moved with pity, Williams Uchemba revealed he left after distributing the palliatives determined to take the family out of the slum.

So on Thursday, May 21, 2020, the kindhearted philanthropist fulfilled the promise he made to himself by relocating the family to a new house he built for them.

The family's joy knew no bounds as they kept thanking him and also praying for him in the video.


Nigerians have since taken to the video's comment section to appreciate and pray for the actor and comedian.

Majority of Nigerians who commented revealed that what Williams Uchemba did for that family made them shed tears out of excitement.

Comedian Seyi Law has savagely replied a follower who reprimanded him for opening an Instagram page for his three-year-old daughter, Tiwa.

It all began after a hacker gained access to Tiwa's Instagram page and the comedian took to his page to make his followers aware of this development.

However, a fan took to the comment section of his post to ask him why the little girl had an Instagram page at her age.

"How can your daughter have her own instagram account at her age common bro some of this things you guys do for your kids doesn't make sense your priorities towards her now shld be education and good upbringing.", the fan wrote.
