Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye shares reasons why he choses Nigeria over Germany

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has explained his decision to commit his international future to Nigeria over his country of birth, Germany.

Okoye who was eligible to play for Germany as well as Nigeria had not been to Nigeria, where his dad hails from, for fourteen years prior to his invitation to the Super Eagles for last November's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin and Lesotho.

Gernot Rohr afforded Okoye the opportunity to make his international debut when he played the last 27 minutes of Nigeria's 1-1 draw with Brazil in Singapore on October 13, 2019, a memory he had to even tattoo on his hand because of his love for his country.

Okoye, 20, has now revealed what made him to choose Nigeria over Germany.

He told Eagles Tracker : "Simply the love for Nigeria and the way I grew up, it was an easy decision.


"It's always being a dream to play for Nigeria, the chance came and I took it directly. There was no second I wanted to waste."

He also said he wants to follow in the footsteps of former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama while praising German-born player Leon Balogun for taking him under his wings when he earned his maiden call-up for a friendly against Ukraine last September.

"I admire Vincent Enyeama, he's a legend. What he has done for this country, he's an idol. I am looking up to him and I want to do things for Nigeria he has done, that's why I'm looking up to him."

"Leon Balogun because he is also half-German and he's like a big brother, he told me everything and he introduced me to everyone very well.

"Now we are a big family, every player is like a brother to me. I am learning everyday from every player when I'm with the Eagles. It's a blessing to be part of this team," said Okoye.

Oluwo of Iwoland – Blacks still in ignorance because they refused to upgrade their gods just like the whites

The Oluwo of Iwo, Emperor Telu has asserted that blacks are still in ignorance because they haven't upgraded and updated their gods just like the white men.

He made this known in a recent post he shared on his official page via Instagram.

According to him, the whites after realizing their "old God" in the Old Testament "committed so much atrocities", they upgraded him to the "new God" in the "new Testament" who is more merciful than the latter.

He also gave biblical instances where the "old God asked King Saul to wipe out the entire Amalek to backup his claims.

Writing further, he noted that the "new God" in the "New Testament" is a God of riches, wealth and more merciful than the latter.

He also said popular Nigerian gods like Sango and Ogun are believed to be blood thirsty because they haven't been upgraded and updated like the God of the whites.

The white people came up with a smart and wise idea.. they jettisoned the old God in the "Old Testament" and makes Him part of their history cos that God in the latter kills and committed so much atrocities and then came up with a new God which is in the "New Testament " that the Christians of today preaches ( A God that makes you prosper with riches,merciful and all goodies of life etc) never did anything wicked even though he ask for burnt offerings, Son of Abraham to be sacrificed, plagues the land, told King Saul to kill everyone in Amalek all male, female and even suckling infants ( sarcastic) !! But the Black Man refuses to upgrade and update theirs over 2000 years after the white man did… Our own gods and the most popular ones have not been upgraded or updated to a merciful one that brings you riches, prosperity and all goodies of life etc thats why we worship the merciful God of the white man compared to Sango who infact was a good man but all we know about Sango today is Sango will kill you, Ogun will kill you , Sanponna will kill you etc when will our own gods stop killing their children and be merciful for once ??? As for me and my entire household "I will opt for the merciful ones that brings goodies, merciful, forgiving, Just etc until the Black Man decides to have the good God that does not do evil until the whole Black Africa changes their minds and upgrade or update their own old testament to a new testament !! Old woman prays for E-money after he blessed her with N500k

Billionaire businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money has blessed an old woman with N500k after she cried of hunger.

In a video which the popular socialite uploaded on his verified Instagram page, the old woman covered him in a pool of heavenly blessings.
 
The woman revealed the pandemic has made life unbearable for her, as she has no child to take care of her, and her relatives that could have helped her are maintaining their social distance as ordered by the authorities.


However, when E-money saw the video, he asked his Instagram followers to help him get the contact of the woman.

Following his plea, the billionaire was able to reach the old woman and gave her a whopping half a million naira (N500,000)

E-money took to his social media page to share the good news.

His words, he wrote;

"Thank you Lord … I am so excited reaching out to MAMA. May our Good GOD protect Mama and keep you for us.. Thank you MAMA for this wonderful prayer I received from you this afternoon #thankstoMummyLady-C for this @callme_frodd Thanks so much for the connection."
