| Anambra Billionaire Oil Magnate, Chief Anthony Enukeme ss Dead Posted: 10 Jun 2020 01:00 AM PDT  One of the richest oil magnates in the country, Chief Anthony Enukeme, is dead.According to TheNation, Enukeme died at the age of 75.The Chief Executive of Tonimas Oil and gas group, died Monday night, after a brief illness.A family source, who spoke with The Nation, said he died because of the travel ban occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.He said the deceased, who clocked 75, last January used to travel overseas every year on routine health checks but couldn't go because of the pandemic.Enukeme had been the Chairman of traditional Prime Ministers in Anambra State for a long time A devout Roman Catholic, he was to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary on May 2 , which was shelved because of the global pandemic. | Yul Edochie says indecent dressing is not an invitation to rape Posted: 09 Jun 2020 07:00 AM PDT Nigerian actor Yul Edochie is speaking out about the increasing cases of rape and sexual harassment in the country. The actor turned politician joins other well meaning Nigerians as they advocate against rape in the country.In a tweet shared via his Twitter page on Sunday, June 7, 2020, the movie star turned politician said indecent dressing should not be a yardstick for any woman to be raped or sexually harassed."I do not encourage indecent dressing. But no matter how indecently dressed she is, guy it's not an invitation for rape," he tweeted.
"If you both agreed on pay as you go, you pay, she no wan give you, get ur money back through non-violent means. Do not touch her. There's no excuse for rape." The recent conversations about rape on social media was prompted by the brutal killing of a Uwa Omozuwa, a university student who was raped while reading in a church.  |

Pat Attah  There is no way the history books of Nollywood will ever fail to mention one of its own, Pat Attah. The Anambra born actor was one of the biggest names in the Nollywood in the 1990s and early 2000s. Well, Attah was the ladies favourite because of his charming looks, he was regarded as the Nigerian version of Hollywood star, Morris Chestnut.  Attah rose to stardom in the blockbuster movie of the 1990s, 'Glamour Girls' with his outstanding performance. He went on to star in over 100 movies including 'My Love' and 'Extreme Measure.'  He later dabbled into movie production and direction and even music. According to reports, Attah became a born again Christian and relocated to Germany with his family where they presently reside. Sandra Achums  One of the early entrants in Nollywood, Sandra Achums was unarguably a very talented actress. She owned every movie role, nailed them, and became a household name. Achums could become the original 'bad girl' in one movie and an adorable wife in another. She hit stardom in 1995 when she starred in the movie 'Deadly Affair.' That movie saw her become a toast to many directors and producers. She later went to star in many big movies including 'Sakobi,' 'Karashika,' 'Outcast,' 'Domitila,' and her yet to be rivaled role in the movie 'Hatred.'  Achums left the shores of Nigeria in 2006 after she got married to her hubby, Tony. The couple is based in Germany with their kids. Dolly Unachukwu  For many who grew up watching watching Nollywood movies in the 1990s, Dolly Unachukwu certainly rings a bell. She was an early entrant into the entertainment world in the 1990s. Unachukwu was on the cover of many soft sell magazines for her talent and radiating beauty. Unachukwu relocated to the United Kingdom in 2000 after she remarried for the second time. According to reports, the marriage remains one of the most short-lived unions ever. She still resides in the UK with her daughter and son. Karen Igho   She went on to become one of the most talked-about reality TV stars during and after the show. Karen, who was the first African female and Nigerian female to win the reality TV show, won the ultimate prize of $200,000.  In 2014, the two-time breast cancer survivor got married to Yaroslav Rakos. The two welcomed their kids back in 2015 and 2017. Reports reveals that his reported newest baby mama is Larissa Yasmin Lorenco A.K.A Larissa London, a UK-based make up artist born and raised in Angola.According to the by Gistmerchant, Larissa has been in Davido's life since 2017, see her in the background of his picture with Cardi B back in 2017.The report says Larissa welcomed her son in March 2020, and went off social media when the rumour initially started and have now returned.Davido is reportedly currently denying the baby and blocked her so she has no access to him, as he is trying to save face with his fiancee Chioma.Gistmerchant Says: "There have been rumours floating around for a while now of Davido having another child. | Uti Nwachukwu reacts as lady who accused him of rape disappears from Twitter Posted: 09 Jun 2020 02:30 AM PDT Kambili Korie, the lady who accused Uti Nwachukwu of raping her, has deleted her Twitter account – with which she raised the allegation. Her action came no more than 48 hours after the media personality petitioned the police and demanded a full-scale investigation into the rape allegation.Kamnili Kore had taken to the Twitter account and alleged that Uti raped her in August 2017.She went further by sharing a screenshot of a message from a user saved with the name "Uti 2" apologizing for forcefully having his way with her.However, a recent check showed that the Twitter user's account has now been deleted. Reacting to the latest development, Uti said he will still be going forward with the investigation into the rape allegations. Read Uti's words on his IG page,  I didn't want to be speaking these unfortunate allegations again, but it's also important that I update you all on recent developments. My accuser- whose account was created only recently to accuse me of this horrendous crime, has been deleted before investigators could identify her. This is unfortunate because it doesn't fully exonerate me from the accusation the way the courts would have done; I REALLY needed the opportunity to prove my innocence and this culprit face the full penalties. However, I am still going to continue to work and cooperate with the police to get to the bottom of this. Victims of sexual abuse need to be heard and believed, and it's why I will continue to pursue this to prevent anyone else from making it even harder from victims to speak out. | #BlackLivesMatter: DJ Cuppy joins protest in UK Posted: 09 Jun 2020 01:30 AM PDT  DJ Cuppy joined the Black Lives Matters protest i the UK and shared photos of herself during the protest.DJ Cuppy said that she thought of so many reasons why she shouldn't join the protest further went on to say that she wouldn't be happy with herself if she didn't join the protest. She added that she joined the protest immediately after her radio show and further revealed that the protest was to speak against gender-based violence and sexual assault taking place in Nigeria.  honestly thought of SO many reasons to NOT protest, but the truth is I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't go and support! ?????? Isaiah 1:17 ….Straight after my radio show today, I joined my brothers and sisters who are protesting against racial injustice faced by black people globally. | Burna Boy is mosts streamed artiste in sub-saharan Africa Posted: 09 Jun 2020 01:00 AM PDT  Singer, Burna Boy has been unveiled as the most-streamed artiste in Sub-Saharan Africa.On the list titled "Billboard's Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists" which is based on global views, Burna Boy takes the lead with 435.57 million streams, Tanzanian's Diamond Platnumz comes in second with 291.98 million streams whiles Davido takes the third spot with 285.76 million.Wizkid comes 5th with 176.23million streams, Mr Eazi, Flavour, and Tekno with 153.07M, 139.68M, 130.15M respectively. Yemi Alade and Joeboy end the list with 109.55M and 106.08M respectively. Also featured on the list is Sinach, the Nigerian gospel singer who became the first African to top the Billboard USA Christian songwriters chart last month.See the full list below:1.
