Reno Omokri advises men to marry women who have physical attraction

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has advised men to marry women who have physical attraction.

The former presidential aide made this known in a recent tweet he shared on his verified Twitter page today, June 11.

According to him, no matter how holy a man might be, there is need for him to marry a woman he's attracted to.

However, the Amazon Best Seller argued that spiritual attraction isn't enough. "There must be physical attraction" he advised.

To score home some points, he went biblical, reminding men that even Abraham was physically attracted to Sarah.

In his words; "No matter how holy you are, still ensure you marry a woman you are attracted to. She MUST be a believer. However, holiness alone can't make a woman attractive. Abraham was physically attracted to Sarah!"

Media guru Toyosi Godwin - Huspuppi’s news has spoilt a lot for remote workers in Nigeria

Nigerian media personality, Toyosi Godwin has taken to social media to analyze the implications of HushPuppi's alleged arrest on Nigerians on the foreign scene.

It should be recalled that we recently reported news of how Nigerian big boy, HushPuppi was allegedly arrested by InterPol over a fraud related case.

Media epert, Toyosi Godwin has now reacted to news of his arrest.

He registered his heartfelt dissatisfaction over the harm Nigerian fraudsters are causing fellow Nigerians in a recent Twitter thread he shared yesterday, June 10.


According to him, the news of HushPuppi's alleged arrest has made hardworking Nigerians lose foreign business clients.

He also recalled how a certain lady was dismissed from work after Invictus Obi's arrest in 2019.

Toyosi revealed he read a story of a Nigerian man who lost five clients because of HushPuppi's recent news.

The media guru also thought the bad image Nigerians have abroad could be the reason a Canadian company rejected his application.

Toyosi has regretted the fact that most Nigerian freelancers now use VPN to get jobs they won't get with a Nigerian address.

Writing further, he blamed the Nigerian government for not taking the anti fraud and cyber crime Act seriously.

"They have dented our image big time. Nigerians are no longer trusted to handle huge amount", he said.

"Now you not only have to fight racism. You have to fight the stigma of being seen as a fraudster" he lamented.

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has slammed Davido for trying to deceive his fans with his alleged house in banana island.

According to the popular journalist, Davido did not buy any house in banana island. She said the house belongs to his father, and he's just claiming ownership of the house for no reason.

She also stated that she has no intentions to use Davido to trend on social media, because she is a journalist and her job is to post news, no matter her relationship with the subject.


Speaking further, she tagged Davido an ungrateful bastard while recounting how she knew him since he was a little child.

Kemi Olunloyo, in a recent live video on Instagram, stated that she is the most intelligent woman in Nigeria.

The controversial journalist who went live on IG to share some updates with her fans got pissed after a fan told her "she is too old" for the kind of stories she posts on social media.

Reacting to the statement, Kemi said the fan has no right to tell her what to do with herself, adding that she is never too old for anything.


Kemi Olunloyo went ahead to remove the fan from her live video, while announcing that she is the most intelligent woman in Nigeria.

British rapper, Stormzy and company pledge £10million for 10 years to organisations fighting for racial equality & social justice in the UK

British rapper, Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. known professionally as Stormzy and his company have pledged £10 million over the next 10 years to organisations fighting for racial equality and social justice in the UK.

The 26-year-old grime rapper, who took part in a recent Black Lives Matter rally in London, released a statement through his #Merky company on Thursday.

It said: 'The uncomfortable truth that our country continuously fails to recognise and admit, is that black people in the UK have been at a constant disadvantage in every aspect of life – simply due to the colour of our skin.

'I'm lucky enough to be in the position I'm in and I've heard people often dismiss the idea of racism existing in Britain by saying 'If the country's so racist how have you become a success?!' and I reject that with this: I am not the UK's shining example of what supposedly happens when a black person works hard.

'There are millions of us. We are not far and few. We have to fight against the odds of a racist system stacked against us and designed for us to fail from before we are eve

'Black people have been playing on an uneven field for far too long and this pledge is a continuation in the fight to finally try and even it.'

Stormzy's donation will support organisations, charities, and movements involved in tackling racial inequality, justice reform, and black empowerment in the UK.

The announcement comes after the Black Lives Matter protests in the US and the UK following the death of George Floyd.

The show opened with Cindy insisting she never tattled about any house mate while in the house. But Seyi chose the right time to uncanonize her with receipts from the time she spoke about a housemate in the house.

Mercy and Omashola's epic showdown
For long minutes, Mercy and Omashola forgot about the efforts made by the NCDC to encourage the practice of social distancing as the pair existed in each others air space as they tried to trash out a derogatory remark made my Omashola while in Big Brother's house.

The infamous bathroom fight which lead Omashola to slut shaming the Queen of highlights brought back a volcano of emotions from Mercy who shoved her offender in the heat of the argument.

Avala, the must-have arbitrator
With no energy left for mediation, show headliner, Ebuka passed on the baton of restoring peace and order to former housemate, Avala.


Avala literally called the spades on Omashola while demanding that he tenders a heartfelt apology.

After the fires fizzled out, Omashola moved seats and gave a heartfelt apology to Mercy who returned the show of truce with an apology for physically assaulting him. The show ended with Omashola pleading with Mercy's fans to stop trolling him.

Tunde Obe recounts how white woman unleashed her dog on him because he was black

Nigerian singer, Tunde Obe has narrated how he faced racism as a child in the United States of America.

The singer says this happened after his father who was a diplomat got transferred to the United States of America in 1974.

The music star and actor in a series of tweets shared via his Twitter page on Friday, June 5, 2020, recounted how a white woman released her dog on him because he was black.

According to him, the sad event occurred when he was 7 years old and went to visit a classmate who was 'white' at home.

"A thread: If you have suffered racism, it will forever leave a sour taste in your mouth. My father was a diplomat (Ambassador), so he was always transferred to different countries. In 1974 he was transferred to America. We lived in Washington DC. I grew up with a free mind," he tweeted.
"Towards all races. I had friends of all races in school and I never discriminated. One day I went to visit one of my classmates at his home. He was White. His house was not too far from mine, so I walked. I got there and I rang their bell. His Mom, a White lady, came out."



"Looked at me with disgust and asked what I wanted. I mentioned my friend's name and she opened the latch on the gate to let me in.. She said I should follow her, as she walked towards the backyard, where I assumed my friend was. As soon as she turned the corner she called."


"Their dog's name and shouted, "Sick Him!!".. This huge Alsatian dog just went for me. But I guess because God still had plans for me, I made it to the gate before the dog could pounce on me. Luckily for me, the dog stopped at the gate. I didn't stop running till I got home."


"That experience has remained engraved in my mind till today. I will never forget how she was shouting "Get the Nigger", as I ran for my dear life. The first time I would experience such hatred. I had done nothing to deserve. I was only about 7 or 8 years old."

"This was in 1975, or thereabouts. Racism has been around for a very long time. I pray that one day it will be relegated to the dustbin of history, where it belongs. People should be judged by their character and not their skin colour.. #SayNoToRacism."


Obe's tweets are coming on the heels of calls and protests of racism across the world.

Netflix unveils curated titles for 'Black Lives Matter'

Netflix on Wednesday, unveiled a new collection for viewers looking to find titles related to systematic racism, racial injustice and discrimination.

The newly curated titles follows the streamer's decisive move to join the ongoing 'Black Lives Matter' protests.

In a statement shared via Twitter, the 'Black Lives Matter' collection is equally Netflix's show of support for the ongoing anti-racism protests across America.

"With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time – we're starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience", wrote Netflix.

The new collection features nearly 50 series, feature films and documentaries some of which include: 'When They See Us', 'Black AF', 'Seven Seconds', and 'She's Gotta Have It'.

Alleged audio of Ghanaian OAP begging for sex before helping a lady leaked

Nana Romeo has been hit with a 'sex for favour' scandal following a leaked audio which has found its way to social media.

In the audio heard by pulse.com.gh, the voice believed to be that of Nana Romeo's said "My dear, I don't know why you're making this matter so complicated … you know I don't give out loans... at the end of the day, you know what I want. I'm a man, you're a woman."

The said audio has been screen recorded from a Facebook Messenger chat which shows the name of the person who sent the audio plus other texts as "Nana Romeo Wele..." However, despite the similarity of the voice, pulse.com.gh can not authoritatively confirm that the leaked audio is truly from the Accra FM presenter, who is yet to comment on the audio.

Nana Romeo has become a common name on the lips of social media users after Wendy Shay walked out from his interview as he persistently pushed her to answer questions about rumours of her secret affair with Bullet.

Ghanian actor, John Dumelo kicks-off work to end Flood in Ghana

Renowned Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has made his decision to end flooding in West Legon, Ghana known.

The thespian made this announcement in a recent tweet he shared on his official Twitter page on Wednesday, June 10.

According to him, he visited a certain community in West Legon some weeks ago and vowed to dredge a very big gutter that causes flood in the region.

He revealed that the big gutter causes flooding whenever rain falls in the region.

Dumelo said he is happy to announce that he has finally commenced work on the gutter.

The screen personality also pledged his commitment towards ending flooding in the vicinity.

West Legon, otherwise known as Westlands, is a rapidly growing residential area about 14km north of the city centre and 4km west of the University of Ghana.

Revealing his commitment towards ending flooding in the region, the multi award winning actor wrote;

"A few weeks ago, I visited this community in West Legon and promises I will come and start work on dredging the big gutter that causes flooding whenever it rains. I am happy to announce that we started work today."

Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy is celebrating his 70th birthday and is doting about his huge family.

The veteran singer turned activist took to his Instagram page on Thursday, June 11, 2020, where he talked about his family.

According to him, he has nine children, (six from his previous marriages) and three from his present marriage to Diane Oputa also known as Lady D.



The music star went on to reveal that he has been married to her for over 40 years and they have sixteen grandchildren.

"I have sixteen, not ten, not five, not fifteen but sixteen grandchildren and I believe say God don bless me and my prayer to ordinary Nigerians is that may God bless you," he said.


He went on to caption the video with a very cute and personal message to mark the special day.

Terry G – “None of us is clean, Pray for him” Singer calls for prayers following Hushpuppi’s arrest

Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has reacted to the arrest of popular big boy, Hushpuppi.

Nigerian big boy in Dubai Hushpuppi was reportedly arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, and the International Police, Interpol, alongside his friend, Woodberry.

According to reports, Hushpuppi and Mr Woodbery's arrest was as a result of months of investigation by the FBI following a fraudulent deal that involved Hushpuppi and his crew.
Rumors flying across social media have it that Hushpuppi and his crew collected the sum of $35 million for Coronavirus (COVID-19) ventilator.

Hushpuppi's arrest was confirmed after close friends and some business faithful could not reach him because his phone was off.

Reacting to the turn of events, Terry G, urged people to pray for the Instagram big boy, as no one is clean or perfect.

He wrote on Instagram;

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie – “There’s an Epidemic of Male entitlement towards Female Bodies” Writer speaks on Rape issues

Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Adichie, has reacted to the increase of rape and murder of females in Nigeria, stating that there is an epidemic of male entitlement.

Adichie made this known during a United Nations virtual forum on sexual and gender-based violence on Wednesday.

Citing recent cases in Nigeria, the feminist decried the pervasiveness of rape and other forms of sexual assault on women and girls in society.

She Said;

"I think that there is an epidemic of male entitlement towards female bodies. It's a global epidemic, and it's something we need to address.

"What I have noticed in reactions to these horrific cases is that there is a language around rape and sexual assault on women that we really need to think and talk about.

"We live in a culture that diminishes women, and so both men and women participate in that culture''.

Chimamanda Adichie also said that there had been so many disappointing views from Nigerians asking questions like: 'what was the girl wearing when she was raped?'

According to her, this is as if, what she was wearing or doing, justifies her being raped.

She Added;

"What language do we give girls to talk about their bodies? What language do we give boys to talk about what girls and women represent in our societies?

"When I was growing up, I don't think I had the language to talk about my experience had I been a victim of sexual assault.

"The word for vagina in my language, Igbo, is loaded with shame and if you are a good girl you are not supposed to know that word,'' she said.

"So, it matters, how we teach girls to talk about these things because if they don't have the language they don't feel equipped to talk about what is happening to them.''

Pastor Adeboye – “I will kill you if you mess around with my wife”

General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned people about messing with his wife, Folu.

The 'Daddy GO' made this known during his virtual morning devotion last week, while teaching about the joys of having a successful marriage and how couples should love themselves.

"I am sure you have heard me say it before. You can do whatever you like to me, you can criticize me, you can insult me, you can trample on me, I will only pray for you. But if you mess around with my wife, I will kill you. I will kill you so thoroughly you won't even be able to rise on the resurrection morning. When people ask me how are you going to do that, I tell my daddy to send you to hell straight away". he said.

Adeboye, 77, and Folu have been married for 52 years now, they got married to Folu in 1967.

The marriage is blessed with four children- Adeolu, Bolu Adubi (nee Adeboye), Leke and Dare.

Successful talent manager, SamPhrank, has said one of those who influenced his passion for artistes management is Davido's manager, Asa Asika.

Sam, who was one of the pioneer members of The Plug, an entertainment company run by Asa Asika and his partner, made this revelation in an interview.

He said: "Asa Asika and Bizzle are two people I respect so much in this game. Trust me, you need to know your onions about music and the business side to attain this kind of respect.

"The Plug Entertainment started sometime in 2016, I was one of their first employees. At some point I acted in the capacity of the company's general manager. I would always appreciate Asa and Bizzle for all I learned from them.

"In Nigeria, Asa Asika remains my mentor; he made big moves at a very tender age. Big respect to people like Steve Babaeko, Don Jazzy and Tega, Taye Aliyu, Mr Eazi and others pushing the culture as well.

"On the international scene, Definitely Scooter Braun. He's a genius. I'm 25 right now, but my plans for 2021 is to mentor budding talent managers."

Sam, who was famous during his Kings College days for organising the biggest parties in school, speaks on his plans for Avante, and organising of events: "High school parties were fun.

"We threw the biggest daytime parties at that time. We learned a lot from it as well; that was business orientation at a very tender age. But I doubt I still wanna do it.

"I still organise events right now, but it's very in-house. I and my partners at Avante Concepts single-handedly organised Mayorkun's three-day festival in December 2019 and his concert the year before (2018).

"Avante is actually a Spanish word and it means 'Moving Forward' or 'Getting Ahead'. Avante is that little baby we have been grooming. We got into university in 2013.

"Right now, it has learned a lot and is ready to take its place. It's a big brand that has its roots in media, tech, talent management and more."

Besides talent management, on what he thinks the future holds for the Nigerian music industry, the Lagos-bred Sam Phrank said he believes, in due time, Afro music will take over the world.

He enthused: "Afrobeats, as a genre, is getting more recognition everyday and Nigeria is championing this great feat. The future is definitely bright and it holds so much excitement.

"I strongly believe Nigeria music would penetrate every corner of the world soon. Together we can do so much; we need to stay together and keep pushing."
