Denrele Edun is serve stunning look for 39th Birthday

Posted: 15 Jun 2020 12:00 AM PDT

Denrele Edun is a year older today, and to celebrate his 39th birthday, he is channelling his model extraordinaire in these amazing birthday shoot.

He wrote:

HAPPY 39TH BIRTHDAY TO ME;
Yes, me!
ADENRELE OLUFEMI ADEYEMI RAJEEV RAJA AKANBI SAMUEL EDUN!

I'm proud of you.
I'm proud of how far you've come, of who you are, and of whom you're becoming.
I'm proud of the success that has brought you where you are and the failures that have taught you so many lessons.
Today, we celebrate your dreams, your passion for life…
Today we celebrate YOU.

This year has been a crazy one;
You've learned what love really means, the lengths to which friendship can be tested (and lost), and you've managed to get some "alone" time in the process.

But you were ready…

Ready to create!

Ready to collaborate!

Ready to learn!

And even though sometimes life feels like nothing is working to your advantage, I want you to know that you are here now, and you're exactly where you need to be.

Work every day to develop an open mind. Those with narrowed thinking will only ever experience within the tunnel they've enclosed themselves. But those open to change will experience life.

THE MEANING OF LIFE IS THE MEANING YOU CREATE YOURSELF.

So spend your time with people who mean a lot to you and do the things that mean the most.

Enjoy the process.

Don't overload yourself.

Be patient.

You are still young (Yes, even at 39), you are still learning.
Remember that this current version of yourself loves you… and nothing is going to change that.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENRELE EDUN.

Check on it!

Floyd Mayweather’s ex and mother of three of his children, Josie Harris‘ cause of death revealed

Posted: 14 Jun 2020 11:00 PM PDT

Floyd Mayweather's ex Josie Harris' cause of death has been revealed as an accidental overdose involving Fentanyl and Xanax.

According to official records, The Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner determined 40-year-old Josie died of "MIXED DRUG TOXICITY (FENTANYL, ALPRAZOLAM)."

Alprazolam is an anti-anxiety medication that is also known as Xanax.

Josie's death was ruled as accidental as there were no signs that she intended to take her own life.

The mother of three was found dead in her car which was parked outside her home in Valencia, California. Police said she was unresponsive when one of her kids found her in the car in front of their property back in March.

Following her death, Floyd Mayweather took to his social media pages to pay tribute to the mother of three of his children. He posted throwback photos of the two and captioned them "My baby" and "sunshine."

Mayweather was criticized for his posts about Josie due to the reports that she and the ex-boxer were headed to court later this year.

Josie Harris reportedly filed a $20 million lawsuit against Floyd because she claimed that he lied about her during an interview with Katie Couric years ago.

During the interview, Mayweather claimed Harris was high on drugs during a 2010 domestic violence incident.

In the lawsuit, Harris accused Mayweather of lying and claimed the evidence showed he viciously abused her. At one point in the case, an appellate court gave her backing by allowing the case to move forward.

The appeal court found, "Since this evidence is unequivocally at odds with the assertion that Mayweather was simply restraining a drug-addled Harris by only twisting her arm, it may reasonably be inferred that Mayweather acted with malice or reckless disregard of the truth during the Couric interview."

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has this to say to Rape Apologists

Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:30 PM PDT

Lots of people say and do things that reflect ignorance or misunderstanding about sexual violence, that's why there's a need for social education, and putting an end to rape culture.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde took to Twitter to advise rape survivors about speaking out whenever so their abusers can be arrested and dealt with by the law.

Then a Twitter user took to the comment section saying "women should stop appearing sexy so they don't get raped".

'That's a good point. But I want you to emphasize that women should de-sexify which means they should lay less emphasis on appearing sexy. This is a truth women don't want to hear. Women are helping to arouse the sexual demon in men and they go for the most vulnerable for satisfcn

Omotola who was obviously infuriated by such derogatory tweet replied and pointed out that the twitter user "sounded like a beast/rape apologist", adding that he will now be watched closely as the new law from NAPTIP says anyone who gives excuses for rapists will be arrested.

According to him, June 12 should also be accorded to embarking on causes that would help the many ailing ones in local communities, hungry people, widows, and orphans around the country.

"Birthdays are a time to reflect on the memories of yesterday, the joys of today and the dreams of tomorrow," Joshua said in a video uploaded via his Twitter page.

"I want to thank you for your prayers and your love. Many waters cannot quench love. Love that has feet to move to the needy, to move to the sick ones, to move to the hungry ones.

"Love that has hands to help others without expectation. Love that has eyes to see misery and want. Love that has ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. The only way to have a friend is to be one.

"Many T.B. Joshuas are orphans. Let's father them. Many T.B. Joshuas are homeless. Let's shelter them. Many T.B. Joshuas are sick. Let's care for them. Many T.B. Joshuas are lonely.

"Let us be their companion. My friends, let the feelings of others matter to us. 'Will these children not go to school? How can these people be lonely and homeless?'

Majek Fashek’s Son says ‘Scammers are trying to make Money off his Dad’s name’

Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:30 AM PDT

The family of the late Rainmaker, Majek Fashek have finally broken their silence on his death a couple of days back.

In a video clip which has gone viral, Randy Fashek, one of his sons thanked Nigerians for the show of love and concern showered on the family. He also used the opportunity to raise the alarm about the activities of scam artistes out to defraud innocent fans by using his dad's name.

He began: "It has been tough these last few days. I will start by thanking God for his love and strength in helping us to go through this. I will also want to thank fans for all the emotional support and incredible love we have been receiving from you guys. I would like to say, thank you please and keep the good things coming.

"My family is devastated by the situation and we are doing our best to give each other strength to overcome.

"My dad was an incredible person beyond the spiritual talent he had. He is one of the most talented and most stubborn person I know. A combination of his stubbornness, his God-given talent, his ability to stay motivated, his uniqueness and aspiration to stand for things nobody would stand for or even speak on, his mistakes, experiences and his precense are what make him Majek Fashek as you know him today.

However, there is another part to him which most people don't know which is the dad aspect of him.

"A loving father of three, Michael, Destiny and I, I could go on for days on the amazing experiences we have had with him – how everyone in the house except mum always called him 'Dread.' Continuously fighting with him because we were tired of listening to Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix and whoever he likes for like a year on repeat. Or coming home to see like 30 people in the house just chilling and vibing to music while my mum is going crazy trying to entertain everybody."

Addressing fans who would want to make financial donations towards Majek Fashek's burial he appealed to fans to give the family a break in order to get things right: "I love my dad and I will miss him. I know he is in a good place and you know, God has a reason for everything. In this moment please, give us some time to get things in the proper perspective and then we will get the proper information to you guys.

"Please note that due to Covid-19 and everything going on, things are a bit slow and we will update you accordingly.

"I have been asked by many to provide an account information but I don't think this is the right time but for those who want to support from their heart, the account number is provided below. Please, don't donate to anything that is not approved by Randy Fashek.

"There are a lot of scammers out there just trying to make money out of dad's name. Don't believe the hype and the fake news."

Acknowledging the efforts of fans to keep his dad's legacy alive he continued: "There are many out there doing their best to keep dad's legacy moving but as stated, all agreements, arrangement and transactions or anything that has to do with dad must go through me. I am sorry I didn't get to you sooner; I wasn't given the opportunity to do so. Information leaked and then it was all over social media. Again, I am sorry about that. Thank you for your love and support and for keeping his name alive and if you knew dad, you will know he never said bad. He always said peace and love. Thank you."

Majek Fashek passed on in New York after a battle with an undisclosed illness on June 2, 2020 at the age of 57.

"Past leaders failed to fix the country, you all turn around to blame Nollywood for it. All the gun violence movies you watch from America has it stopped you from applying for American visa, neither have the kung fu movies stopped you from going to China. It's all entertainment."
