Executive jets services tag Naira Marley and BBNaija star, Kim Oprah “A Bunch Of Useless People

Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:30 AM PDT

Wait, is this letter real? It's been flying all over twitter purportedly written to the Minister of Aviation by the CEO of private jet charter company, Execujet, Sam Iwuajoku following the indefinite suspension of the company for breaking aviation rules by flying Naira Marley and his crew to Abuja for a concert.

According to this letter, which we can't verify, Mr Sam said he allowed the plane to fly to Abuja because he saw Babatunde Fashola on the manifest and thought it was the Works Minister not realizing it was Naira Marley whose real name is Azeez Fashola.

The letter went on to call Naira Marley and his crew a bunch of useless people making us doubt the authenticity of the letter. We will update you guys on this as we get more facts!

Several relationships have hit the rock after average earning young men receive marriage list from the bride-to-be's family that worth hundreds of thousands of Naira if not millions.

It should be recalled that yesterday, a lady made headlines after she told a story of her husband who vowed never to help her family because they gave him a marriage list worth over N580k.

It is sequel to this that popular Nigerian author and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has advised young men on what to do when bride's family gives them expensive marriage list.

He advised young men to go to the nearest marriage registry and marry inexpensively.

"If she refuses, perhaps she is not the one", he advised.

Refer to the post he made on his official Twitter page below;

"If you want to marry and the girl's family give you a long list of things to provide before you can marry, just go to the nearest marriage registry and marry inexpensively. If she refuses, perhaps she is not the one. Marry according to your pocket"

BBNaija Reunion: Jackye says0 Tacha does not exist to her friendship league

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 11:00 PM PDT

It appears Jackye Madu came to the BBNaija reunion show prepared with guns blazing as she has managed to hold no words back when it comes to people she does not get along with amongst the 2019 ex-housemates.

In a recent episode of the reunion show, she was asked who she considered her friend in the house and without hesitation, she mentioned Venita and Enkay.

According to her, they were more like her sisters than friend.

Jackye who has made it clear she is not a fan of Tacha, stated that she did not vibe with controversial ex-housemate. She added that if she doesn't vibe with someone, they don't exist to her.

When asked if the feelings had always been like that for Tacha, Jackye admitted that for the first few weeks in the house, she tried to bond with Tacha but gave up on the idea because she didn't want to get angry.

She added that she didn't want to give anyone the authority to control her emotions or make her that angry. Before then, Thelma was asked about her infamous fight with Tacha over a piece of fish, in the first week in the BBNaija house.

She stated that she didn't start the fight for the sake of the show and that Tacha blew things out of proportions. Tacha on the other hand, stated that she simply reacted to how Thelma approached her.

Gay activist, Bisi Alimi says it is an “act of violence” to misgender Bobrisky

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:30 PM PDT

Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has said it is an "act of violence" to misgender Bobrisky.

Bisi and Bobrisky are not exactly fans of each other. They have been known to drag each other on multiple occasions. However, Bisi rose to Bobrisky's defence after some Nigerians mocked him for wearing male clothes to his father's birthday.

Reacting to the photos Bobrisky took at the birthday party, a number Nigerian web users said he can pretend to be a woman but he'll always be a man.

Defending Bob, gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi wrote on Facebook:

Dear Nigeria LGB friends,

Lets talk about Bobrisky and the unintended consequences of misgendering them in our anger.

As many of you will know, I am not their number 1 fan, but I respect them.

I feel there is no template to be a role model and there is posterity that will judge all of us.

However, using a gender pronoun they have come out to say they dont use for themself is an act of violence.

Nigeria is still one of the most dangerous place to be a Trans person and while we may not like the narrative they are showing to Nigerians, there is little we can do about that.

However, one thing firmly in our control is to recognise their gender and call them that.

If in your anger, you misgender them, then you are worse than them and you are nothing but a Transphobe and I know that many of you dont mean to go that path.

So, in our anger, let us recognise our solidarity for the Trans community in Nigeria.

Thank you.

Victoria Inyama counters Anita Joseph's claims over non-existence of rape in marriages, says she has experienced it

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 06:30 AM PDT

Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama has countered the claims by colleague, Anita Joseph, over the nonexistence of rape in marriages.

The actress believes rape in marriages is another form of domestic violence.

Anita Joseph had posted a video on her Instagram page a few days ago, where she argued that a woman cannot claim her husband raped her if he had sex with her when she wasn't in the mood.

In a video shared via her Instagram page on Sunday, June 14, 2020, the actress said rape in marriages exists.
According to her, it is a form of domestic violence which she said she faced while she was married.

"I have been getting a lot of DMs over Aunty Joseph's video. Can a husband rape? Yes, a husband can rape his spouse. It depends. Let me define it. Marital rape or spousal rape is the act of sexual intercourse with one's spouse without the spouse's consent," she said.

"The lack of consent is essential here because it does not need to involve physical violence. Marital rape is a form of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Husbands can rape the wife. I do not know about wife raping a husband. The most important thing is consent is needed."

"A lot of women constantly raped in their marriage. They are so ashamed to even talk about it. I have experienced it and I am learning about it. The trauma and the damage it causes is beyond your understanding."

Inyama's latest video is coming days after Anita Joseph in the company of her husband, Michael Fisayo took to Instagram to talk about rape in marriages.

According to her, the body of a woman is like food to her husband and should be readily available anything he desires.

Naira Marley: Executive Jets Services Limited, apologises to Aviation Minister over controversial flight
Naira Marley

The Chairman and CEO of Executive Jets Services Limited, Dr Sam Iwuajoku, has apologized to the Aviation Minister Senator Hadi Sirika over the flight that took Naira Marley and crew to Abuja.

Naira Marley performed at the Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja on Saturday, 13th of June, 2020, amidst COVID_19 pandemic, after flying in from Lagos via the Executive Jets Services Limited, charter flight, against the federal government lockdown order.

The company was subsequently sanctioned by the Federal Government and in defence, the CEO of the private charter airline company, said he mistook the name Fashola on the manifest of the flight to mean that of Minister of Works and assumed the flight was being operated to airlift Mr Babatunde Fashola and his entourage to Abuja instead of Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, Nigeria popular musician.

In a letter Iwuajoku addressed to the Aviation Minister, dated June 15, 2020, with the title, "Flight for 13/06/2020 done by Executive Jet Services to Abuja", wrote: "We hereby apologized for the above flight, with your permit ref: FMA/ATMD/0175/V/V/1268 dated June 11, 2020", the Vanguard reports.

"So, on Saturday morning June 13, 2020, my staff called me that they have a charter flight to Abuja and that the passengers are already in the lounge. As a rule, passenger manifest is always sent to me before any departure."

"When I went through the manifest and I saw FASHOLA BABATUNDE, I thought it was the Honourable Minister of Works going to Abuja with his men; so, we decided to do the flight since he is a serving Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria . We are very sorry for this mistake and we promise that this would not happen again."

"According to the passenger manifest dated, June 13, 2020 made available to us, the Lagos-Abuja-Lagos flight conveyed to Abuja, Adewunmi Segun, Chinonso Opara, Fashola Babatunde, Fashola Adeshina and Adeyeye Tobi.

Ckay releases 7-minute short film, 'Alien'

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 04:30 AM PDT

On June 5, 2020, Nigerian singer and the man behind global anthem, 'Love Nwantiti (Remix)' released his self-directed seven-minute short film, 'Alien.' The film is also co-directed by Makhere Thekiso.

Nuerki Norte plays the alien love interest while Titilope Adesanya plays the human girlfriend.

During a 2019 interview with Pulse Nigeria, Ckay called the short film, "an African extra-terrestrial love story." It has now become clear that the film tells the story of a forbidden love affair with an alien love interest that seemingly begins as a one-night stand. Hence why 'DTF,' song about a one-night stand plays in the first act.

Despite CKay's character having a girlfriend, he fell in love with the alien woman, damning what anyone says to hell. Nuerki Norte plays the alien love interest while Titilope Adesanya plays the human girlfriend.

The cover art for Ckay The First is a part of that story. When you look closely, you see a spaceship and some weird things, but they all have a meaning. As a kid, CKay was into sci-fi and has some interesting theories about extra-terrestrial existence and aliens.

On his interest in universal science and extra-terrestrial life, CKay tells Pulse in 2019 that, "The universe is too large for humanity to be the only form of life in it. Let's say earth is like a speck of dust and this whole space (the studio) is like the size of the milky way galaxy. The Universe is too big to only be home to earthly life. There's also been like 100,000 UFO sightings between 1980 and 2001.

"So, I feel like these sightings only happen everywhere else asides Africa. So, are you going to tell me that aliens only want everywhere else asides Africa? So what if our African gods were aliens? Then I decided to interpret theory in this film from an African perspective and tell a love story with it."

Ckay's video for 'Love Nwantiti' has also hit one million views on YouTube.

“Stop collecting Money from boys,” Man confront ladies protesting against Rape in Lagos

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 04:00 AM PDT

A man confronted a group of girls protesting against rape in Ipaja area of Lagos state, asking them to stop collecting money too from boys.

The man hinted that most girls are at fault when they become victims of rape because they keep on collecting money from boys.

He said;

"You girls you have a role to play in that rubbish.. You will be collecting money from boys and you will want to zip up.. how can you? Go and search your conscience, it is very very bad. Before you talk to any girl now, they'll be saying how much will you give me.. Even me, at my age, I have girlfriends of your age always saying, "Daddy how much will you give me?" Stop collecting money from boys, when you collect money from boys, when you collect money from boys, anytime they have to get it, they will deal with you. "

Pipeoluwa who shared the video on her social media page wrote;

"Earlier today, a couple of my guys and I Took out to the streets in a bid to sensitize the public about Rape and other forms of sexual offenses and I must confess that a lot of work needs to be done as regards this War Against Rape. A Thread!"

"In all honesty, I was and still am greatly horrified by the responses we had from people all over. A lot of Horrendous comments were passed whilst the protest was on and I could deduce that a lot of work needs to be done and it begins with you and I."

"The War against Rape and all other forms of sexual offenses has begun and everybody has to be a part of it, it concerns everyone because this barbaric acts needs to Stop Outrightly."

"Whilst the peaceful protest was ongoing, a man probably in his mid 50s walked up to us and started spewing a lot of Gibberish from his Mouth."

Femi Fani-Kayode – If you want to keep a Lady, you must Rev her Engine at least twice a day

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has shared his secret to keeping a lady.

The father-of-nine, who is currently married to Precious Chikwendu, shared a photo of his wife as he explained how to keep a lady.

Femi Fani-Kayode shares his secret to keeping a lady; says women are like "race horses who must be tamed, trained and cherished"

He Wrote:

"HOW TO KEEP A LADY

Ladies are like race horses: they must be mastered, tamed, trained, exercised and regularly serviced. They are like race cars: their engine must be revved at least twice a day.

They are like precious jewels and rare gems: they must be cherished, shielded, guarded, protected and defended.

They are like little children: they must be given attention, pampered, encouraged, loved, made to feel on top of the world and given everything that they need and want.

They are like magnificent works of art: they must be appreciated and valued.

If you want to keep a lady, live for her alone, worship the ground she walks on, treat her like a Queen, tolerate and accept her idiosyncrasies, weaknesses and excesses and love her for who and what she is, warts and all!

And one more thing: once in a while write her a romantic poem, serve her breakfast in bed, give her flowers, buy her the most expensive and exotic perfumes, take her shopping and in the evening cook a candle-lit dinner for her.

Do all this and she will stand with you through thick and thin. That's my secret and that's the key!"

Kemi Olunloyo – I Want To Know If Ibidun Ighodalo’s Death Was Suicide Or Murder

Posted: 16 Jun 2020 03:00 AM PDT

Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has questioned the death of Ibidun Ighodalo saying it is either a suicide or a murder.

Taking to her social media page to react to the death of Ibidun Ighodalo, Kemi Olunloyo called on the Police to demand investigation in her death as she questions the fact that she died from cardiac arrest.

Olunloyo who claims she was just getting to know the ex beauty queen whose death she says is "SUSPICIOUS", shared some points which she believes are questionable and needs to be investigated.

She Wrote;

Ibidun Ighodalo just became my online friend this February 2020. She said she had a foundation, always checking on me in IG DM. I have screenshots. Why will her Instagram page be deactivated by anyone?

@PoliceNG must Investigate how she DIED in a hotel room #Kemitalks

There is a wave of poisoning deaths all over Nigeria. Pure nonsense! The Niger Delta Commission guy was also poisoned. Did someone poison her in the hotel? I want to know her last meal, @Facebook legal dept will tell us what time her IG was deactivated and from what location

There must be NO COVER UP in her death. Wanna see her autopsy. 41yo women do have cardiac arrest SECONDARY to what though? To deactivate a page then cardiac arrest signifies SUICIDE, other way around MURDER. @PoliceNG get to work @GovWike pls open an investigation #kemitalks

The hotel in Port Harcourt needs to be SEALED as a potential crime scene. The entire kitchen staff & management need to be detained and interviewed on what she ate before that cardiac arrest. Someone died in there. SHE MUST NOT be buried YET! #kemitalks

Ibidun Ighodalo's family needs to be interrogated on who ran her Instagram pages. The Nurudeen Lawal guy who travelled with her to PH must be detained for questioning. Did he run the foundation page along with her? Why isn't an obituary posted on that page. @instagram @Facebook

Rest in Peace Ibidun Ighodalo. I was just getting to know you. I'm an Investigative Journalist and your DEATH IS SUSPICIOUS. @PoliceNG @GovWike plssssss get to work. Segun @segalink pls read the thread. It's a lawless country. Focus on the bigger picture. @GraffitiBMXCop DM

When I went to visit daddy's burial ground, the grave yards were not organized, getting there was daunting and no space, people buried on people. Please take time out to visit your loved ones and say a prayer. I was so emotional. I went to visit my aunty as she also wanted to visit her brother's graveside. They were inseparable. As elderly as she was she insisted on going to visit him with me. On getting there, there were quite a number of impediments and overgrown grasses which would have discouraged anyone from going to visit. But she persevered. It was such an emotional visit and I'm so glad we could go. Make sure you take time to visit loved ones and make them feel loved and cherished always even in death. Clean their grave always, regularly and say a prayer 🙏 thank you @akanke83 for looking after me

Married to the Senior Pastor of the Trinity House Church, Lagos Ituah Ighodalo, the former Miss Lux, Ibidun Ighodalo, died in Port-Harcourt, River State in the early hours of Sunday while handling a COVID-19 Isolation Centre project. Ironically, the beautiful mother of two had visited her late father's grave before she died. She shared the video on Instagram three days before her death. According to the deceased, she decided visiting the cemetery in Sango, Ibadan, Oyo State because she missed her dad, Chief Olaleye Ajayi. Not only that Ibidun went with her aunt who also insisted on seeing her brother's grave again. Quite an emotional moment, she revealed she cried profusely. Captioning the video, Ibidun, whose family has issued a press statement on her death wrote, "Miss my dad When I went to visit daddy's burial ground, the grave yards were not organized, getting there was daunting and no space, people buried on people. Clean their grave always, regularly and say a prayer 🙏 thank you @akanke83 for looking after me #imissmydad #wishyouwerehere #loveyounowandforever #dontforgetyourlovedlones #mysiblingsandimissyoueveryday #youwouldhavebeenproudtoseeyourgrandchildren #loveYoudad #criedmyeyesout😭 #sangoburialground . . #ripibuaniyudhoyono #ripibidun
