Big Brother Naija reality TV star, model and actor, Tobi Bakre clocks 26 today, June 1.

In celebration of his birthday, the former reality TV star took to social media to share pictures from a Grecian theme photo shoot.

The birthday boy expressed gratitude to God for the new year an also thanked everyone who has been a part of his success story.

Tobi Bakre wrote:


Talha, A fruitful tree from heaven. A tree that provides shade and fruits for others. That's my name and that is the purpose I want to uphold for the rest of my life.

How time flies, I remain grateful to God, family, friends and everybody I have happened to cross path with. It's been different layers when it comes to the story of my life.

I can't underestimate the positive influence a lot of people have had in shaping me to the person I have become and attaining the level of success thus far.

Don Jazzy slams rapists & rape apologists

Nigerian record producer Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy has joined the list of stars who are bringing attention to the vile rape culture in Nigeria.

Recall, Uwaila Omozuwa a first year Microbiology student of the University of Benin, was attacked inside Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) church in Benin, Edo state.

According to Uwaila's relatives, she had gone to the church on May 29 to read, but was ambushed by multiple men in the church near Ikpoba Hill in Benin City, who raped and murdered her.

Her death triggered a movement #JusticeforUwa on social media, with the likes of Uche Jombo, Pastor Adeboye, and Genevieve Nnaji, adding their voices to the cause.

Now, Don Jazzy has spoken up too.

He wrote:

"If you are a rapist and you see this, you should be ashamed of yourself and know that one day you will pay for your barbaric crimes. Rape apologists too and those that know a rapist and is protecting them. SHAME ON YOU. #saynotorape #JusticeforUwa #JusticeforTina #WeAreTired

White community kneel before Black community to beg for forgiveness for years of racism

A moment White people went on their knees to beg Black people for forgiveness for all the years of racism they have suffered has gone viral online.

Houstonians gathered Sunday, May 31, at Cuney Homes in the Third Ward to pray for the family of George Floyd following his murder.

During the prayer, the White people in attendance knelt down and asked for forgiveness for years of racism.


The Black community accepted the apology and joined them in prayer.

Nigerian man boasts of being a rapist says ‘I go dey rap£ dey go, nothing go happen’

A Nigerian man, G love Udenso, has boasted of being a rapist, and says he has no plans to stop!

He made the claims on Facebook as he reacted to the gruesome death of Uwa Omazuwa, the University of Benin student who was raped and murdered inside in a church.

He also stated that girls should not wear pants so as to help him carry out his rape activity without stress.

He wrote in Nigerian Pidgin English,

"I go dey rape dey go. Nothing go happen. Ladies make una help us small. No dey wear pants come weat tight on top. E dey waste person time abeg.Thank you."

David McAtee was a local business owner, his sister says the gathering was a regular weekly event not related to protests.

With effect from Tuesday, 2nd June, 2020;


1. Nationwide curfew remains in place, timing now 10pm—4am.


2. Full opening of financial sector - normal working hours

3. Restricted opening of places of worship, (regular church & mosque services ONLY), to be based on State Govt protocols.

4. Interstate travel remains prohibited except for goods &essential travel

5. Gathering of more than 20 persons remains prohibited;outside of workplaces and religious services

6. Aviation Industry requested to start developing protocols for domestic flights to possibly resume from June 21

Actress Regina Daniels may be expecting her first child but she is already a step mother

Regina Daniel's and billionaire husband Ned Nwoko recently took members of the internet community by surprise after making an official announcement that they are expecting their first child together.

However, while this will be the first child the young actress is expecting, she is already a step mother to the children of Nwoko's other five wives.


Regina has occasionally taken to social media to share photos of herself and step-kids spending family time together. Among one of Regina's step-daughter is Julia Nwoko, a young and pretty lady who is older than the Nollywood actress.

Just recently, we discovered the Instagram page of Regina's step-daughter and she is indeed a beauty to behold just like her step mum.

'2 Weeks in Lagos' producer opts for Drive-In Cinema release

The Kathryn Fasegha film starring Beverly Naya and Mawuli Gavor will now premiere at a drive-in cinema in Abuja.

In a bid to revive the industry amid the Covid-19 outbreak, Nollywood film exhibitors have brought back the drive-in cinema experience.

Over the past few weeks, exhibitors have recorded a handful of successful drive-in cinema screenings and this success may have influenced the decision to premiere '2 Weeks in Lagos' via this medium.

According to its producers, '2 Weeks in Lagos' will allow for a drive-in cinema experience for its first-ever public screening. The film premiere will screen at the Abuja Central Park on Friday, May 29, 2020.

The Kathryn Fasegha directed film had its March 27 release date postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, says lots of babies wiill be made as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The clergyman said this in his sermon on Sunday morning while listing some of the good things that will come out from the COVID-19 lockdown. According to him, Pastors will be so busy early next year conducting baby naming ceremonies.

A beautiful new year has just began in the life of One of 81-year-old Alaafin of Oyo's wives, Aanu, as she celebrates her birthday today with lovely new photos.

Aanu is one of the wives of the Alaafin that conceived twin babies for him. It is said that she and the ageing monarch have become an item, they are smitten with each other and you would not meet Kabiesi at any occasion without Queen Anuoluwapo at his side.

Her tweet is coming, days after minister of information, Lai Mohammed, declared that Nigerians should expect an increase in "MW" by the year 2023.

The minister said a firm will be growing the present 3,400 megawatts to 7,000MW by the end of next year. Lai Mohammed added that they will then grow the megawatts to 1,000 megawatts by the end of 2023 (phase 2) and 25,000 megawatts in the third phase.

Street singer, Slimcase is currently under fire over his comment on Instagram.

It all started when he tweeted a picture of George Floyd writing: "FAME AFTER DEATH… any positive blow wey I gats blow God Let me blow am now that I am alive not after I am dead 💀 😓 George A sacrifice for d change in black history #blacklivesmatters"

An Instagram user then responded, demanding to know why celebrities usually air their opinions on issues abroad, and turn a blind eye to issue that happens in their country.

The follower wrote; "Na America matter una always dey carry for head, why you no post that 16 years old girl police shoot for Lagos. Abi them never settle the girl matter finish?"

Slimcase then replied; "We talking about a global pandemic here. Leave the Lagos girl for Channels to talk about am."
