A Nigerian man has taken to his page on social media to reveal what his wife does whenever she offends him.

The man identified with the username @AmamamMyko revealed on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, that his wife begs him in the name of popular Nigerian music executive and singer Davido, whenever she offends him.

Taking to Twitter, he said he knows Davido would laugh so hard if he tells him about it.

Perhaps, it's likely his wife knows he's a big fan of Davido and believes he would be appeased if she mentions the singer's name.

@AmamamMyko is the same man who few months ago claimed he named his newborn baby boy after Davido and the singer in return promised to changed his life if he shows him evidence.

I didn't sleep until 5am this morning. I feel completely drained. As I deal with one horrific story in the news, another hits me over the head with a fire extinguisher... Like the one that was used to kill Uwa after being raped in her place of worship. The news almost feels similar to a bullet piercing through me as I come to terms with the fact that the police may never be our friends, just look at what they did to 16 year old Tina and so many others. I mean, the amount of bad news in the world right now is suffocating, it almost feels like I can't breathe...the pain in my chest...you would think that there's a knee pressing down on my neck blocking the very thing that keeps me alive....I'm gasping for air. George Floyd did not deserve that. We do not deserve the continuous hatred we receive from our own people as well as those who simply hate us for the colour of our skin. We are not only battling coronavirus, we have other epidemics and just like the virus, the numbers keep rising. We are battling police brutality, sexual predators, pedophiles, rape apologists, racists, murderers and terrorists. These are all epidemics but unlike Coronavirus, you are not required to cover your mouth in order to survive...you are required to use it! Do not be silenced! We need SCAPEGOATS, we need justice! #BlackLivesMatter #JusticeForTina #JusticeForUwa #RapeIsACRIME #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd

Uwa and Tina's lives have been cut short because we've raised and enabled a generation of men who believe women should be exploited not protected.

We've enabled powerdrunk senseless men with uniforms and weapons.

We are not allowed to sit down there and say "not all men" fuck that! All men are responsible. Your brother's heart is desperately wicked and you have enabled it, wether in catcalling or in objectification. We have enabled it. Not waiting on the government to do anything, don't want to set myself up for further disappointment.

Vybz Kartel, who is a staunch fan of YCMB boss, Lil Wayne called for the battle after watching and studying the rhyming sequence and pattern of Eminem when he appeared on Lil Wayne's Young Money Radio Show.

This is the second time the wurl boss has thrown a challenge to the Grammy award winning rap superstar. The first was on May 9th. Kartel feels fortified and built up to match the rapper boot for boot in a rap battle.

In attempt to get the rapper's attention, the 'wurl boss' has shared a cover song of Eminem's Gidzilla rap song which he(Vybz Kartel) has titled it #Glockzilla. A word could hardly be heard correctly but the sequence and pattern were on point.

We don't know if Eminem or any other would respond as the rapper was tagged in the post, alongside a host of both dancehall and hiphop artistes.

Kylie Jenner has refused to answer her Mom, Kris Jenner's calls after Forbes claimed she faked her way to Billionaire status

Posted: 02 Jun 2020 04:30 AM PDT

Kylie Jenner is reportedly furious with her momager Kris Jenner and refusing to answer her calls' after Forbes declared she faked her way to her billionaire status over claims she inflated her personal wealth and forged her tax returns.

According to The Sun, the beauty mogul and mother of one, 22, is believed to be keeping her distance from the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch, 64, amid the highly-publicized scandal.

A source said: 'Kris who reportedly gets ten per cent of Kylie's deals is in panic mode.

'Kylie won't answer the phone to Kris and is at a loss over who to trust. Kris is petrified Kylie could sack her or cut her off so tensions are at an all-time high.'

The publication also said the mother-and-daughter duo are 'freaking out' and 'fear' the recent report will 'hurt their brand, and even worse, they could be in trouble with the government'.

Last Friday, Forbes, who put Kylie on the cover of its women billionaires in 2018, named her the world's youngest self-made billionaire in 2019 and again earlier this year dropped an article titled "Inside Kylie Jenner's Web of Lies and Why She's No Longer a Billionaire," in which they accused Kylie of inflating her personal wealth and forging her tax returns.

Soon after, Kylie took to Twitter to slam and deny Forbes' claims.

She wrote: "What am I even waking up to. I thought this was a reputable site. All I see are the a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol.

"I've never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period."

She also shut down claims she forged her tax returns."even creating tax returns that were likely forged" that's your proof? so you just THOUGHT they were forged? like actually what am i reading.

Asisat Oshoala – Unbelievable! Some Female Footballers Earn N30, 000 Monthly In Nigeria

Posted: 02 Jun 2020 04:00 AM PDT

Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has made a shocking revelation saying some female football players are paid N30, 000 monthly.

She said this is happening because the government doesn't give due attention to female football in Nigeria.

The 25-year-old Barcelona Femeni star made the comment on Saturday evening during an Instagram live chat with Channels Television.

While speaking about how to improve female football in Nigeria, the former Arsenal player, among others, said the leagues have to be constant in addition to paying more attention to the welfare of the footballers.

"The league has to be constant. They have to look into the welfare of the players," she said.

She claimed that "Some players get paid, maybe N30, 000, a month or maybe N60, 000 maximum and that's like a lot. They need to be more concerned about the welfare of the players."

According to her, some teams go six months without playing big games, lamenting that "they are not just paying attention to the female league in Nigeria."

On calls for the female teams to earn the same amounts as their male counterparts, the four-time African Women's Footballer of the Year argued that it is not the right time to fight for such in the country.

"We don't have a proper structure in my country and then you want me to come and start saying I want the same amount you are paying the Super Eagles?" she said.

The former Rivers Angel star admitted that female teams do not generate money like their male colleagues, saying "when we get to that level" agitations for equal pay can take centre stage.

Oshoala added: "I'd rather say: give us a standard coach for the next five years; and let the salary be constant and let the game bonus for my teammates be constant.

"And let us play a lot of friendly games as much as we can. And when we get to that level, we start discussing the next stage. It is something that has to be with a plan."

Also, she called for a rebranding of female football in the West African nation, adding that much has not been done to attract money into the game.

Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg to Combat Racial Injustice with the use of Facebook

Posted: 02 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT

Mark Zuckerberg has revealed plans to use his platform to combat racial injustice as he spoke about racism and police brutality.

The Facebook founder made this known as he mourned the murder of, not just George Floyd, but also Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others.

Mark Zuckerberg reacted to the deaths of a number of African Americans resulting from police brutality and he disclosed the efforts he's making to use his platform to combat racial injustice.

He condemned police brutality saying it "reminds us how far our country has to go to give every person the freedom to live with dignity and peace." He wrote;

"The pain of the last week reminds us how far our country has to go to give every person the freedom to live with dignity and peace. It reminds us yet again that the violence Black people in America live with today is part of a long history of racism and injustice. We all have the responsibility to create change.

"We stand with the Black community and all those working towards justice in honor of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and far too many others whose names will not be forgotten.

"To help in this fight, I know Facebook needs to do more to support equality and safety for the Black community through our platforms. As hard as it was to watch, I'm grateful that Darnella Frazier posted on Facebook her video of George Floyd's murder because we all needed to see that. We need to know George Floyd's name. But it's clear Facebook also has more work to do to keep people safe and ensure our systems don't amplify bias.

"The organizations fighting for justice also need funding, so Facebook is committing an additional $10 million to groups working on racial justice. We're working with our civil rights advisors and our employees to identify organizations locally and nationally that could most effectively use this right now.

"I know that $10 million can't fix this. It needs sustained, long term effort. One of the areas Priscilla and I have personally worked on and where racism and racial disparities are most profound is in the criminal justice system. I haven't talked much about our work on this, but the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative has been one of the largest funders, investing ~$40 million annually for several years in organizations working to overcome racial injustice. Priscilla and I are committed to this work, and we expect to be in this fight for many years to come. This week has made it clear how much more there is to do.

"I hope that as a country we can come together to understand all of the work that is still ahead and do what it takes to deliver justice not just for families and communities that are grieving now, but for everyone who carries the burden of inequality."

Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye like we all is the second half of the defunct music group, Psquare and twin brother to Paul. These guys rocked the music industry for over a decade until they went their separate ways.

Okoye is always quick to show off his talented kid on social media. Okoye's son, Cameron can be described as a multi-talented child.

He has some killer dance moves as we can all remember his stunning performance in his father and twin brother's hit song 'Personally.' It doesn't end there as the young man plays for the Barcelona football academy...another Super Eagles player in the making? We hope!

2Face Idibia

Another music star whose records have taken him beyond the shores of Africa is 2Face Idibia. Any song Idibia touches turns to gold and that has made him stand out from the rest of the other guys.

Little wonder why his infectious and exceptional talent appear to be heading towards the direction of his kids. Two of his kids appear to be carrying entertainment genes and we can't get enough of them.

Basketmouth

Basketmouth can be described as the most popular and influential comedian in Nigeria.

Unlike several celebrities who have become famous for showing off their kids on social media, Baskemouth likes to keep things private in the home front. However, that hasn't stopped him from showing the amazing talents of two of his kids.

A trip to Basketmouth's Instagram page and you'll be wowed at the magical fingers of his son, Jason on the keyboard and the voice of his daughter, Janelle.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

One of the actress' children, Captain E is already taking after her. Though he isn't an actor, the young lad is already creating a name for himself in the music industry.

Nasty C talks about conquering acting anxiety and making music for Netflix's 'Blood and Water' series

Posted: 02 Jun 2020 01:00 AM PDT

Nasty C may have issues memorizing his lines, but the rap star admits acting is not as difficult as he imagined.

From struggling to conquer his acting anxiety on the set of Netflix's second African original, 'Blood and Water' to writing and producing the series' original song, 'I Need You', Nasty C surely had his hands full for the most part of production.

Pulse recently got an exclusive Zoom chat with the rap star where he spoke about the all new experience of bringing a character to life.

In 'Blood and Water', Nasty C's character pretty much shadows the star's real life. He plays the music producer friend of KB (Thabang Molaba) and drops in a few lines about how KB and Puleng (Ama Qamata) need not worry about being professionals.

Despite having only a few lines to deliver, the 23-year-old rapper admits he battled bouts of anxiety when he came on set and required an acting coach to help him get his performance right.

"As a first time actor, I was nervous at first but it is part of the whole experience", Nasty C tells Pulse. "It wasn't as stressful as I thought it was and not as stressful as I made it out to be".

Nasty C's music is a huge part of the 'Blood and Water' soundtrack. The rapper's 'SMA', 'Juice Back' remix, 'God Flow' made this list including an original song, 'I Need You' which he wrote and produced.

Speaking exclusively on 'I Need You', Nasty C revealed how the song is based on a childhood experience.

"When I was growing up, my father's side and my mother's side were separated and so I grew up with my father's so I didn't really know my sisters till I was 13, 14", He says. "I also had a lot of questions like where are they, what really happened and you know you hear things but you never really know. It is like you are on this endless search for someone that should have been there your whole life and that's what the song is really about".

Without an iota of doubt, Nasty C's first acting gig was a classic tale of how it takes a village to birth, in this case, a film star. The rapper agrees that his newest romance with film is no fling as he plans to explore more opportunities in the future.

"I mean I would do it again as it is something that I have always been interested in. It's not like the interest can just die like that and it is not like it was that difficult to bring my role to life", Nasty C reveals. "It was cool and easy for the most part.
