Toyin Abraham has secured another endorsement barely one month after her last endorsement with a health and fitness coy.

The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award winner just signed a deal to represent and promote the activities of top real estate coy Revolution Plus Properties.

The real estate firm unveiled Abraham as its newest ambassador in an event that took place in the firm's head office in Lagos, Nigeria.

Abraham joins her colleagues, Odunlade Adekola and Omoni Oboli, as ambassadors of the real estate firm.

Speaking on the new deal, Abraham said, "I'm really excited to start showcasing Revolution Plus Properties to the world.

The company has been doing great things and also helping Nigerians with different humanitarian gestures."

On why she accepted the endorsement deal, the 'Fate of Alakada' star said, "I think why I accepted this deal is because they represent who I am and what I want to achieve and hence, we are doing this signing today which by God's grace will be the beginning of better things to come.

"Oftentimes when celebrities sign endorsement deals, people are happy for them because it seems to mean more money for the celebs alone.

Yes, it is a lot of money for me ooo but we are sharing it together. And many #toyintitans will become house owners and be lifted up in their standards of living.

This endorsement is a win-win for everyone. Let me start the win-win giveaway by picking people under Revolution Plus property and I will credit," the actress and producer said.

In his reaction, the CEO, Revolution Plus Properties, Chris Bamidele Onalaja, explained that Abraham was singled out because of her personality and what she represents in society.

He also said she would be helping his organization energise and grow her social footprints and community with her positivity and also to establish an authentic connection with her clients and prospective ones.

"Love gone sour" on Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem reunion show Day 16

Posted: 01 Jul 2020 06:30 AM PDT

Day 16 of the ongoing BBNaija Pepper Dem Reunion show saw scores of not so tidy linens getting laundered on live television and we bet the audience completely loved it!

Catch the highlight from the latest episode of the ongoing Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem Reunion Show.

Former housemates, Mercy, Ike, Diane and Elozonam each took turns to be the bull's eye as they exchanged thoughts on their love stories within and outside the house. Catch the highlights:

Mercy and Ike
Ike may drive Mercy crazy as she repeatedly declares during the show, but Mercy can't seem to get over her beau. The on and off lovebirds reminisced on how they first met during auditions but didn't see the potential in each other till their second/third week in Big Brother's house.

According to Mercy, Ike was nothing like the men she had encountered in her past while for Ike, Mercy's elusiveness and flirting tendencies ignited the challenger in him.

The lovers also cited some of the reasons that are constantly on each other's throats. Mercy blamed cultural diversity for most of their travails while Ike hinted on Mercy and her fans who oftentimes try to embarrass him.

Diane, the couple's bestie weighed in simply to urge Ike to be less spontaneous with his block button especially as women are allowed to act up every now and then. Not to be sexist or anything of the sort!

Speaking of Diane, the former housemate suffered an emotional breakdown towards the show's closing credits. Here is how it went down:

Diane and Elozonam

Elozonam and Diane hit it off right after the former got into the house. For Elozonam, it was birthed from Diane's warm welcome and her honesty about her 'saga' with three male housemates.

Diane seemed to see things on an intellectual level. Even though dark-skinned men gave her the kick, she revealed she realized how sapiosexual Elozonam was and that got her hooked.

However, things nosedived between them after the show. Diane blamed Elozonam's inability to let things go for their troubles while Elozonam shared how he often felt like the third/fourth teir option in their relationship.

At this point, speculations began to fly around giving room to argue that their problematic relationship had something to do with an unknown dark-skinned model-like man. Ebuka however dropped a bombshell involving a Mawuli and this prompted Diane's breakdown.

IG of Police orders probe of policemen who arrested D’Banj’s accuser

Posted: 01 Jul 2020 05:30 AM PDT

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has ordered the immediate probe of the policemen who arrested Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused music star D'banj of rape.

The IG is acting on a petition from the accuser's lawyers.

Adamu gave the order in a letter dated Thursday, June 25, 2020, as reported by Punch.

In the letter signed by his Principal Staff Officer, DCP Odowu Owiohunwa and addressed to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Garke, Adamu revealed that he was acting based on a petition he received from lawyers from Ojoge, Omileye and Partners representing Babatayo who accused D'Banj of rape.

"I forward forthwith copy of a letter dated June 18, 2020, with its attachment received from Ojoge, Omileye and Partners on the above subject," part of the letter read.

"I am to respectfully convey the directive of the Inspector-General of Police that you deal."

In the petition that was referred to in Adamu's letter, Babatayo's lawyers accused the police of trying to help D'banj to silence a victim.

"According to our client, she was told to write a statement denying ever meeting with Mr. Oyebanjo (D'Banj) and to also state that she lied against the person of Mr. Oyebanjo," part of the petition from Babatayo's letter read.

"In actual fact, our client was about to write the statement which she believed would be a basis for her release when the counsel came in and stopped her from writing such a statement."

"The counsel further informed the policemen that all actions to the alleged rape of our client in December 2018 by Mr. Oyebanjo have been transferred to the DIG FCID for a thorough investigation and that they need to stay the action."

The petition also states that while efforts were being made to bail Babatayo from police detention, D'Banj's manager Damien Okoroafor prevented the release of lady.

These series of events allegedly happened after Babatayo came out to accuse D'banj of raping in a hotel room in Victoria Island in December 2018.

[EP Review]: Attifaya announces himself with 'Faya Vibes'

Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:00 AM PDT

This might be the first time you've heard of Attifaya, but you've definitely heard from him before. Before becoming Attifaya, he was called Attitude, the convener of 2019's proper 'gbef music' titled, 'Higher Your Body' featuring Mayorkun, Reekado Banks and BOJ.

Attifaya should be proud, this is an impressive EP.

He's contributed to some of your favourite songs over the past four years, but that's not the story for now.

The story is Faya Vibes, the five-track EP that the Rapper-Singer-Sung-Rapper hybrid released a few days ago and it might be worth your time. Production is handled by Altims, Tempoe and Type A. 'Funk,' opens up the EP to Afro-fusion/Afro-swing sounds and dancehall percussion.

"Wasn't born in April, I can't be fooled..." is a weak line, but the overall spirit of the song and its deft use of rap as mode of delivery is commendable. It's simple, straightforward and easily digestible. It also suits the Afro-pop sound like UK rappers use Afro-swing to create more radio friendly sounds.

'Just Vibes' is this writer's favourite song on this EP and he dreams of a remix featuring BOJ, Falz and Ajebutter22. The commercial potential of this songs comes from its messaging and the madness what Type A and Altims conjured on the beat - a fusion of Afro-pop snares and strings, and rap-friendly percussion.

The deceptive cadence on that hook is also commendable, with its conveyance of Attifaya's braggadocio and vindictive lines. Oh, he sells 'Just Vibes' and we're buying. 'WTF' is the anthem of a Yoruba demon - or in more acceptable terms, a playboy. Built on what Blaqbonez calls the 'Boombastic sound,' it features the rapper.

It's also no coincidence that it's produced by Tempoe. While Attifaya and Blaqbonez admire the women they respectively sing about, it almost feels like they're joining issues with and producing a male-oriented version of Rihanna's 'Needed Me.' Now we men also have an excuse for bad behaviour. Inject into my bloodstream, viva patriarchy!

'Reckless' is an Afro-swing song that houses a warped out vocal sample for its hook and strings suited to an 'action film' for other parts. 'Reckless' might be called 'an excuse' for bad behaviour in this woke world, but it's just a warning by Attifaya. Call it a caveat - this is fire music, abeg.

'Tension' is yet another Afro-swing song that feels like something B Young would make. Attifaya sings about a sexual encounter. He sings, "Tension, pressure wasn't my intention," but that part is slightly confusing. How does that relate to sex, there is an explanation but it's quite confusing - that's the point.

Faya Vibes sounds like the fusion of Afro-Caribbean sounds from predominantly lower-class, black neighborhoods with what Falz, Sess, Prettyboy D-O, Higo and Blaqbonez can produce when they want to rap and make pop music. In other words, it's fire.

Attifaya should be proud, this is an impressive EP. It will be interesting to monitor his journey from here - he definitely has something. Keep going, Attitude... Sorry, Attifaya.

Former housemates on the Big Brother Naija season 4 show, Diane and Elozonam seemed to get along very fine while they were in the house to the extent that their fans created a ship name, Dialo, and created fan pages for their relationship.

According to Diane, Elozonam is not someone who is forgiving and he holds things to heart. She also said that she would have loved for him to treat her the way Ike treats Mercy. See the video below:

Elozonam, on the other hand, said that Diane meant a lot to him but that she constantly treated him like she had other options. See the video below:

Toke Makinwa – With Greedy In-Laws, Put Properties In Your Children’s Names

Posted: 30 Jun 2020 11:00 PM PDT

Media personality, Toke Makinwa, who is well known for being outspoken on social media, has advised ladies married to men who have greedy family members.

Taking to her Twitter page, Toke Makinwa told ladies that the moment they find out their in-laws are greedy, such a lady should not fail to ask their husbands to put properties in their children's name.

She referenced that she has never seen a man being kicked out of the house after the death of his partner.

See what she wrote below;

"I've never heard of "men" being kicked out of the house when their wives die or properties being seized, cars collected, humiliated, etc. why are women still subject to this rubbish still? Why? Like Why?"

"The entitlement of these so called "in-laws" after their son dies is disgusting, all the things they could not try while he was alive, how can someone die and the neighbors have to come in to rescue his wife from vultures called relatives? It's always the woman that suffers."

"If you are married to someone who has greedy family members, if they all solely depend on your husband for everything, pls ensure he puts everything in his children's name if he refuses to jointly have your names on property, it's ok, let him put your kids names."

On last night's episode of the BBNaija 2019 reunion, the duo opened up on what really happened.

Elozonam and Diane also revealed why they think their relationship did not work, despite its energy at the beginning.

During the Pepper Dem Reunion show, the show's host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after airing a short clip of Diane and Elozonam's display of affection while in Big Brother house, gave the two a chance to explain where things currently are with the two of them.

Elozonam stated he really cared about Diane and that Diane was the girl he felt connected to when he first came into the house and was feeling a little "socially awkward".

However he said, she always treated him like an option which made him feel he's the only person in love. He said she was always talking about someone outside the house, who was later revealed as handsome actor, Mulawi Gavor.

Diane in her response said she made it obvious to Elozonam that she liked him and that he [Elozonam] wouldn't deny that. She admitted she was also suspicious of Elozonam's motive in the house at the time because he came in at the 4th or 5th week.

Ebuka then inquired about their relationship after the show. It became immediately evident that the two had not maintained the same close relationship they had in the house after the show.
