Young Nigerian comedienne, Emmanuella Samuel has taken to Instagram on Wednesday, July 22, to celebrate herself as she turns 10.

The beautiful comedienne expressed that she is really grateful to God for adding a year to her age, while beckoning on her fans to celebrate with her.

In the mood of celebration, she shared a lovely photo of herself. In the photo, she was donned in a t-shirt with blue jeans. She also wore black sandals to match.

Emmanuella posed in front of a lovely brown-coloured car as she smiled at the camera. Fans and well wishers have taken to the comment section to send congratulatory messages to her.

'Once You Marry A Woman, She Becomes Your Equal, Not Your Subject' – Reno Omokri

Ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri has cautioned men to treat women as their equal after marriage, not as subjects.

He took to his Twitter account to release the nugget.

Writing further, Omokri said that while the man is the head of his home, it does not make his wife a subject neither does it mean that she is lower than him.

In his words; "Dear men, Once you marry a woman, she becomes your equal, not your subject. You are the head. But that does not make her lower than you. It just means that you, as husband, are the first between equals. Your wife belongs beside you, not behind you."

Christian Association Of Nigeria calls for BBNaija Ban says its Evil and shouldn't be Patronized

The Christian Association of Nigeria has urged political office holders and other stakeholders to discourage immoral activities.

It said instead, they should promote justice and moral programmes and activities that are aimed at pleasing God Almighty and humanity.

CAN particularly kicked against the ongoing reality show, Big Brother Naija, describing it as evil and urged well-meaning Nigerians to join in the protest against the show.

Chairman of CAN in Rivers State, Stanley Dimkpa made the call to scrap BBNAIJA while lauding 3 Local government Chairmen that best managed the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Dimkpa stated that the immorality being portrayed in the BBNAIJA show should be vehemently condemned because it breeds evil.

"As Christians this, this ceremony is aimed at promoting diligence and reinvigorating a positive lifestyle and collectively making our state better.

"A state where tribe, creed, political party and church do not matter in the scheme of things but a state where equity, equality, qualification, truth and hard work are necessary criteria and conditions for justice.

"Promotion and appointment in all fields of life where reward and good morals will encourage everyone to abhor evil and do what is right. Romans 12:9.

"All these are needed to replace what we have in our world today where societal ills, crimes and immoral behaviours are geometrically increasing due to bad governance, poverty and reward for wrong doing, such as Big Brother Naija.

"I want to emphasize Big Brother Naija because all of us have to fight collectively to stop this immoral act and injustice in our land, as Christians and Africans, we have respect for mankind.

"For those of us that have allowed our friends and families to encourage the patronage of Big Brother Naija, know that it is an evil and we must clampdown on it," he said.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Ka3na who trended yesterday after she revealed she is seperated from her 64-year-old husband and has a mini estate has disclosed that she has never been in love.

The 27-year-old mother of one who gave an insight to some of her past experiences, said she married her husband because he is her best friend and she also respects him.

She went on to reveal that she regrets paying bills of younger men she went out with in the past. Ka3na added that she has never in a state of being unable to do without someone which she considers as being in love.

The singer says as long as her partner is cheating with several ladies, she is okay with it.

The music star made this while chatting with Simi for an episode of her show 'Stoopid Sessions.'

"I would actually be cool with my man having chics, I will be cool as long as they are chics, not one. Because if he has one chic on the side they are going to fall in love with that one chic," she said.

"But if there are chics outside but I'm his number one clearly in any way, he doesn't have to tell me about it but as long as we have the conversation in the beginning."


The music star has been making the headlines lately and we can say they have been very controversial.

Recall back in May when she was involved in a messy Instagram hacked account drama.


The music star had raised an alarm on Thursday, May 21, 2020, about not approving the release of the three semi-nude photos on her Instagram page.

According to her, the account was compromised.

The account was later deactivated and activated again.

Senator Adeleke’s son graduates from university

The son of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, Adeleke Adegoke John, graduated from The Adeleke University, Ede in Osun state.

According to the Facebook post made by the father, he finished from the department of business administration in the faculty of business and social sciences.

In celebrating his son, the father said that the reason he was able to achieve the feat was that he was very hardworking and dedicated. He wished his son all the best in all his future endeavours.

Senator Adeleke wrote on his facebook page as thus;

The late female Nigeria's first fighter pilot has been laid to rest in Abuja, amidst tributes.

Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile was the first-ever female Nigerian Air Force combat helicopter pilot, she contributed significantly to combat operations against insecurity in the northern states of Nigeria.

She was killed recently by a car driven by an ex-classmate in Kaduna and died following a head injury she sustained.

Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique, the Chief of Air Staff;  Mr.Yahaya Bello, Kogi State Governor and his wife; the House Committee Chairman on Air Force, Bala Ib'n Nalla and members of the deceased family were all present at the burial.

It should be recorded that Arotile was the first female combat helicopter pilot of NAF, before her death.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Popular Nigerian author, known for his controversial points, Reno Omokri, has dropped another nugget for his fans and followers on social media.

The controversial author is of the opinion that Africans should invest in life, not death.

In a series of tweets, Reno is advising Africans to change the mentality of neglecting people while they're alive but spending millions on their funerals when they die.

"A befitting burial takes place when family gather and the dead is put in a 6 feet deep grave. You dont even need a coffin. You can bury your loved ones the way Christ was buried-wrapped in a piece of cloth. Africa should invest in life, not death!

Who cursed Africans with this mentality where when your aged parents are alive, they live in a dilapidated house, but as soon as they die, we renovate the house to impress those who will come for the funeral. Spend the money on the living not dead!", he tweeted.

Big Brother Naija Housemate, Nengi, has emerged the winner of first Head of House challenge for the 'LockDown' edition.

The position of HoH was assumed by a winner of the weekly task as instructed by "Biggie".

The self-acclaimed billionaire confirmed the sad news via his snapchat account when he posted a photo of his father, Alhaji Iddrisu, with a caption saying "RIP to my real father, dead today".

Reports gathered that his father has been ill for some time but was receiving treatment until he passed away on Monday morning.

Some ECOWAS leaders led by President Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger Republic, agreed to meet in Mali to engage in further consultations towards finding a political solution to the crisis in the country, Bashir Ahmad tweeted via his official Twitter handle.
