D’Banj Rape accuser, Seyitan Withdraws Rape Case Against Singer

Seyitan has settled privately with popular Nigerian singer and music executive, D'Banj as she finally "pleads and withdraws" rape case against him.

Recall that several weeks ago, D'Banj was allover the news after a young Nigerian lady, Seyitan accused him of raping her so many years ago at Glee Hotel.

According to invesigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo who has been insisting Seyitan's allegations against D'Banj are false, the singer has been cleared after Seyitan "pleaded and withdrew her petition citing personal reasons".

Kemi Olunloyo wrote ;

"I was RIGHT all along. It cost me a lot of time, money, my health and sometimes integrity but I ONLY investigate the truth.
#defendmediafreedom

Dbanj has been vindicated by @policeng of RAPING Seyitan. I will now detail findings of their investigation.

@PoliceNG cleared @iamdbanj 100% after fully carrying out an investigation and in parallel Ms Seyitan who pleaded and WITHDREW her petition. It is important to pay close attention to real rape accusations vs fake accusations so as to protect the innocent rape victims #kemitalks

US court shares reason why Hushpuppi was denied bail

A United States Court sitting in Illinois, Chicago has shared its reason for denying Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi bail.

Recall that the Instagram celebrity who was arrested last month in Dubai for alleged wire fraud and extradited to the U.S on July 3, was accused of being part of a network that made "hundreds of millions of dollars" from business email compromise frauds and other scams.

The US court has now revealed it denied Hushpuppi bail and the opportunity to stay with his girlfriend's Uncle pending the conclusion of his trial.

Based on the recommendations of the Pretrial services which provides the court quality information about defendants, it was stated that Hushpuppi presents a risk of non appearance and should be removed to the charging district in California in custody.

Premium Times reported that other factors include the fact that Mr Abbas is subject to lengthy period of incarceration if convicted, lacks significant community or family ties to the district, lacks significant family or other ties outside the United States, lacks legal status in the country and will be subjected to removal or deportation for serving any period of incarceration.

If the allegations turns out true, it was further stated that Huspuppi who has ties with many foreign countries has sufficient assets to fund flight to anywhere in the world.

The statement partly read;

"Abbas reportedly rents an apartment in Dubai for $10.000 a month and drives a Bentley. He is alleged to have committed financial crimes that netted tens of millions of dollars or more.

"For these reasons and those stated on the record, Mr Abbas shall be removed to the charging district in the custody of the US Marshal."

Chicago lawyer, Michael Nash reveals why Woodberry’s case was dismissed

Michael Nash, the Chicago lawyer representing Woodberry, has said that the dismissal of the fraud allegation against his client makes no difference.

Woodberry was arrested alongside Hushpuppi and extradited to the US where he's being tried for fraud.

"The government dismissed the case because it charged him with a slightly different crime. In the long run, no difference", he said.

Assistant U.S. Attorney, Joseph D. Fitzpatrick in reaction to the news disclosed that Woodperry still has an eight-count charge of wire fraud against him.

He said, "We dismissed the complaint, but the indictment (charging 8 counts of wire fraud) is still active. We cannot comment on the dismissal of the complaint, but I wanted to make sure you knew the indictment is still active.

"Mr Ponle has now been charged by indictment, instead of being charged by the complaint by FBI".

All lines seem to be fallen in the right places for Laycon the budding up and coming artiste who was initially labelled as one of the under dogs in the big brother 2020 house.

Biggie played his song Awa Fierce featuring Reminisce and Chinko Ekun in the house and Laycon also got a chance to perform it live to the other housemates. If the love shown him by the other contestants for the prize is to go by, the young man has a very good chance of getting into the top 5 or probably winning the game.

The house was a frenzy of sort as all housemates bounced, sang and hailed Laycon during the song performance. This is one game that his fierceness will definitely pay off. That is if it is not just words of mouth though.

NAF Explains Why Autopsy Was Not Conducted On Arotile

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said they did not conduct an autopsy following the death of Flying Officer, Tolupe Arotile because the family were satisfied with the agency's investigations.

Tolulope, 25, who passed away on the 14th of July, 2020 following head injuries from an accident at the NAF Base in Kaduna, was buried on Thursday at the National Cemetery in Abuja.

During his appearance on Channels Television's Sunrise Daily, the Spokesperson of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola said the family of the deceased were satisfied with investigations carried out by NAF and did not request for any autopsy.

According to the NAF spokesperson, the cause of death for Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot was already known and the father of the late officer equally wanted a closure of the matter.

"The circumstances surrounding it were read and could not have been scripted any other way other than what happened because it was freakish in nature. But the facts are the facts" the NAF spokesperson said.

"That (autopsy) would be initiated by the family but based on discussions with them and the fact that there were witnesses there, and the time that she was taken to the Nigerian Air Force Hospital in Kaduna, there were no doubts as to the cause of death which was head injuries as a result of trauma caused by the vehicle hitting her from the rear."

He explained that "the father, Engineer Akintunde Arotile said he wanted closure on this matter and that he was comfortable with the Nigerian Air Force investigations which of course is also being transferred to the police because the police were involved from the outset.

"Autopsy was not done because it was not requested; the cause of death was already known based on the investigation and how she was taken to the hospital and the confirmation was made. There were no doubt in that regards and there was no request from the family for that specifically. "

The BBNaija 2020 reality show on is and everybody is talking about it. Seeing as there is no maid or domestic staff on the reality show, the housemates are left to do their own personal chores even if they do not like it. The house is filled with people from different backgrounds, some more privileged than the others.

Just recently, one of the housemates, Dorathy Bachor, admitted to another contestant that she used to pay her sister to wash her clothes. She did this while doing her laundry on the show.

Dorathy also said that she sometimes used to decide to wash all the plates in the house in exchange for her sister to do her laundry. It appears she is not a fan of washing clothes.

American singer, Demi Lovato has announced her engagement to actor, Max Ehrich.

Lovato is set to marry her boyfriend and Hollywood actor, Max Ehrich.

The child star took to her Instagram page on Thursday, July 23, 2020, where she announced the engagement.

"When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his "little partner" - something that might've sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent," she wrote.

"To me, it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I'm officially going to be someone else's partner."


She went to describe how she felt from the first time she met her partner and the undying love they both share.

"@maxehrich I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too... I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all," she wrote.

Hushpuppi's Arrest: Lawyer says he has not been released yet

Gal Pissetzky, lawyer to suspected Internet fraudster and Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi, has disclosed that his client has not been released.

Pissetzky stated that Hushpuppi was transferred to another prison not released. The lawyer also confirmed he was still representing Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi's lawyer's disclosure comes after reports circulated on Wednesday night that Hushpuppi had been released as his details on the Bureau of Prisons showed he was no longer in the prison.

"He is on his way to California, United States of America, for trial. …"
Pissetzky told PUNCH on Wednesday night. "He has not been released and I am still his lawyer. He is on his way to California.

"Not everything you see on court documents is accurate."


"Just because the jail record says 'released' does not mean he has been released. He is being transferred to California,"

Nollywood actress, Elenora Amarachi Paul, has narrated how big brother Naija housemate, Prince Enwerem helped her on a day she was stranded in Lekki, Lagos.

According to Elenora, she was almost harassed at a house party she attended because she didn't want to sleep with one of the guys, and she couldn't get a cab home as it was late.
