BBNaija2020: Organizers apologize for painting Kiddwaya in a bad light

Big brother Naija organizers have taken to their Twitter account @BBNaija, to apologize for using Erica's situation last night to put Kiddwaya in a bad light, and Laycon in a good light.

The article which was posted on the Africa Magic website, was tagged "unprofessional" by BBNaija fans, saying it made Kiddwaya look like the villain.

Recall that last night when Erica got drunk, Laycon had a conversation with Praise about not allowing Erica sleep with Kiddwaya as she was drunk.

They have now apologized saying they got a little carried away.

"Well that was embarrassing! We admit we got a little too carried away and we let our emotions get the best of us. Please remember that the power, as always, remains in your hands. #BBNaija" they tweeted.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Kiddwaya was recently defamed by Big Brother Naija organizers after the saturday night party.

The party saw some housemates who had so much to drink, get intoxicated into a state of physical and mental instability.

One of the housemates who was in a messy condition after getting drunk is Kiddwaya's love interest, Erica.

Erica got drunk at the party which made her want to kiss Laycon, but Laycon who knew she was acting under the influence of alcholol, rejected the kiss.

She begged Laycon to keep her off Kiddwaya so Kiddwaya won't take advantage of her. This made African magic describe Kiddwaya as a "flirt" who wanted to take advantage of Erica.


Fans took to their various Twitter handles to call out Africa magic for painting Kiddwaya in a bad light and to demand justice for him.

Family recreates throwback photo of 8 years ago at the same location

Twitter user, Aman Rajasansi has taken to the platform to share her family's epic recreation photo.

Aman shared two photos of herself, her father and her brother. The first photo was taken eight years ago, while the second photo was a recreation of the first, at the same location.

In the photo, Aman, her brother and her father leaned on a short rod, just like they did eight years ago. The only difference between the pictures shared is the cloth which they rocked during the shoot.

In the throwback photo, they were spotted on their winter jackets, while the recreation photo showed them on their casual wears.

Sharing the photos, Aman wrote – "8 years apart, exact same place".

Popular Nigerian Nollywood twins, Ebere Aneke and Chidimma Aneke are celebrating their birthday today.

Several Nollywood actors and actresses have also felicitated with them on their birthday.

In years past, Nollywood Movie Directors went through headaches to film a twin scene as it has always been rare to have identical twin actors and actresses, so they had to improvise.

But with the emergence of the Aneke's, twin scene workload became made easy as both share striking resemblance.

In celebration of their birthday, Ebere Aneke wrote…

Housemate and former Mr. Nigeria, Prince has revealed that he steals people's girlfriends.

He made this known today when he was having a conversation with Dorathy about the women that like him in the house. Talking about Nengi, he said she has told him she has a boyfriend outside, but that he doesn't care as he can steal her from him.

Laycon seeks advice from Big Brother on how to deal with his feelings for Erica

Today's dairy section between Laycon and Big Brother impressed fans on social media as "Biggie" advised Laycon on what to do about his feelings for Erica.

Laycon's Diary Session;

"Hello Big Brother. Thank you Big Brother. Well I am feeling a lot of emotions. I feel sad and optimistic. Well, so, I am attracted to a Housemate but she is only attracted to me Mentally not physically, so I am sad about that.

Can I get advice from the housemate I am attracted to in the house?", Laycon asked Biggie.

Big brother: Laycon, matters of the heart could be fickled and at the end of the Day you need to respect your housemate decision or perhaps follow the friendship and if not then you need to be honest.

When asked about Tonight's Wager Task, Laycon told Biggie:

What I have learned about the situation is that well everybody we are looking forward to the presentation for tonight.

Everybody is looking for the Wager presentation Challenge. I would be singing a lot and I also wrote a Poem."

Success Adegor’s mother reacts after she was called an ingrate

Vera Adegor, mother of popular internet sensation, Success Adegor has spoken up after she was tagged an ingrate by Nigerian comedian, MC Jollof.

The drama started after her daughter, Success Adegor made a video where she claimed that all the promises made to her were fake, and none was fulfilled.

Success claimed that her father still rides okada and they are still in lack, despite being publicised by the media as 'wealthy'.

Reacting to Success' claim, MC Jollof blasted Success Adegor and her parents for being ingrates, saying they got nothing less than N1million through donations.

However, in new reports by TheCableLifestyle, Success mother, Vera Adegor explained some promises were fulfilled, but MC Jollof's claim of ingratitude on her family's part isn't true.

In her words;

"MC Jollof came when he heard of the incident and paid for the second term to school success in a private institution. As of that time, the government had yet to come into the matter".

"Government said they couldn't allow Success to leave at the time until the renovation project on it [as it was dilapidated] was complete, for the sake of those who would also benefit from it.

"I called Mr. Jollof on the development, expecting he would retrieve his money since he paid into the school's account not to me directly. I neither reached out to the school nor took the money.

"I'm not saying he didn't do well, I thank him. But claiming I'm an ungrateful human being is not true. I told Charles Okpaleke, because of whom the government later give her a scholarship from four to six.

"It was when the commissioner came to check the school and didn't see Success they remembered they promised her scholarship. They called to ask what happened and I told them she wasn't given.

"…and that someone else paid for her four to six. So the government said they didn't want her to go to a private school until she finishes there. So they also gave her a scholarship from four to six."

Speaking further, she cleared the air about comedian AY, who has been slammed heavily after her daughter spoke on fake promises. Vera explained that the comedian did his best in taking up the issue.

On the promise to Success' father, Vera disclosed that the LGA chairman had promised he would employ him at the secretariat while with media personnel but later said there was no job when paid a visit.

She said the chairman had offered to work out a commercial tricycle on a lease, despite having their own commercial bike — an offer which she said they had turned down due to the financial risk.

"I thank both those who made good on their promises and those who didn't. To those who did, I apologize. She's a child and wasn't referring to those who helped her," Vera told TheCable Lifestyle.

"She addressed those she took note of. One that came with the media was Mr. Honourable Kelvin. In her presence, he promised to pack (relocate) us then. The next we called, he refused to answer.

"Another one that occurred was when she asked the chairman to give her dad a job. He agreed to do so but, at the end of the day, didn't comply. Another news also circulated that she was given a visa.

"There are many others that I can't immediately recall. She wasn't begging for another donation. Only that she's a child that always speaks her mind. She was just trying to address her concerns.

"I am sincerely grateful to those who fulfilled their pledges, like Mr. Charles Opaleke, who paid for primary four to six in Our Saviour School. AY Makun also did his best, and so many others."

Naira Marley pleads guilty in court, fined N100k

The Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court, Oshodi has fined Naira Marley and his manager N100,000 for violating the ban on interstate travels two months ago.

A statement from the spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, disclosed that Naira Marley was arraigned alongside his Manager Seyi Awouga on a one-count charge of "breach of the cessation of movement and interstates travel order made by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under Regulation 4(i) of the Lagos State Infectious Disease Emergency Prevention) Regulation No 2 of 2020 and committed an offence punishable under Section 58 Public Health Law, Ch. P16, Laws of Lagos State 2015".

Naira Marley and his manager however, pleaded guilty and were awarded a fine of one hundred thousand naira (100,000) each by the presiding Magistrate.

The renowned disc jockey made this revelation on his official Instagram page today, August 6.

Fans of Big Brother Naija housemate, Laycon have been spotted in a recent video, holding a serious deliverance session for Laycon.

In the video shared online, the housemates could be heard, praying seriously for Laycon to receive sense and stay away from Erica.

Laycon pulled Erica aside after the eviction of Lilo and Ka3na, and confessed to her that he has feelings for her.

Erica however said she doesn't want a relationship in the house and she just feels connected to him mentally and not physically.

The reason behind the loss of his official account is still shady at the moment as fans have different things to say about the situation.

Pastor Chris Okotie – Wearing a face shield/mask in church means denying the finished work of the cross

Pastor Chris Okotie of the Household of God Church, Oregun, Lagos, has kicked against the use of face masks in the church by members, noting that service will not resume on Sunday, August 9, 2020.

According to him, putting on any type of face mask or face shield to the church means reintroducing the veil which was torn the moment Jesus Christ died on the Cross because with the tearing of the veil, there is no longer separation between God and His people and that wearing of face masks would reverse the order, which is unacceptable.

"When a man is standing before God in church wearing a shield or mask, he is denying the finished work of the cross," he added.

Okotie stated that he decided to speak out on the issue because the face mask is now graduating into a face shield, which is a veil.

Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, last week announced that religious centres in the state can reopen for worship beginning from August 7, if they adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols which includes wearing of face masks during service.

Nigerian Footballer Ahmed Musa and wife welcome a baby boy

Al-Nassr forward and Super Eagles striker Ahmed Musa and his wife, Juliet Ejue have welcomed their second child together, a boy.

Ahmed who celebrated his 3rd wedding anniversary with Julie last month, took to his Instagram page to announce the birth of his son, saying mother and child are doing well.

He shared a photos of his wife cuddling her baby bump and wrote;

Moments Gas Exploded at Big Brother’s Kitchen in Cameroon

A video making the rounds on social media has shown the moment gas exploded at Big Brother's house in Cameroon.

In the video shared, two female housemates could be seen in the kitchen tidying up some things. After a few seconds, one of the girls left the kitchen and suddenly, there was a gas explosion.

Out of fear, the housemates ran out immediately to find the closest escape route. They were spotted in the video scampering for safety after hearing the loud bang.

However, although the incident seemed really serious, fortunately, no life was lost and no housemate was injured.
