Ikorodu Bois Receive Surprise Gifts From Netflix To Boost Their Comedy

Popular Nigerian teen comedians, Ikorodu Bois, have received surprise gifts from movie streaming platform, Netflix.

Recall that the online comedians were recently invited to the United States by Russo Brothers, co-producers of American action-thriller film, Extraction 2 after they posted a trailer remake of the movie on Twitter.





The video which went viral, generated over 11 million views and caught the attention of the movie producers.

Earlier today, the group took to their Twitter page sharing a video where they received cameras, Apple computers and other equipment from Netflix.

They wrote… "Netflix! Thank you. You guys are amazing, we've received the gift, we love it!… Sir @kunleafo we would love to say a very big thank you as you received us with open arms and for also giving us the opportunity to better our crafts and for also deciding to be a Mentor to us, and for the scholarship program as well, we want you to know how much we appreciate this sir, you are a father and we are ready for the father-children tutelage from you sir.

"We look forward to having you as a pillar and uplifting hand in our endeavour and growth.


Nevertheless, the talented teens have in times spast caught the attention of American actor, Will Smith, Actor, Dwayne Johnson, and basketball player, Lebron James and even American actress, Taraji Henson

They earned their attention for recreating 'the Bad Boys Forever trailer, Money Heist, among others.

Popular Nigerian singer and music executive, Davido, has received a plague in honour of his album that recently hit 1 billion streams worldwide.

The news was shared by his manager, Asa Asika and his friend, Cubana Chief Priest on Instagram.

The plaque according to online speculations, was forwarded to Davido by Sony Music Entertainment as the said album "A Good Time" was marketed under their platform.

Recall that recently, GistReel gathered and reported that Davido's "A Good Time" album has hit one Billion streams worldwide.


The self style "Omo Baba Olowo" is currently outside the shores of Nigeria as he gets ready to drop another highly anticipated album, "A Better Time".

Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita gets PDP appointment

Rita Daniels has been appointed as the State Assistant Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.

She took to her Instagram page to announce the good news and to appreciate the Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as well as her son-in-law and politician, Prince Ned Nwoko for supporting her political ambition.

On her Instagram page, she wrote: "With a grateful heart, I Enyi Hon Rita Daniels Chukwuji sincerely appreciate all those who found me worthy to be the state Asst Treasurer.


"I pray that God grants me and all executives the strength to take the party forward.

"My appreciation goes to his Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his fatherly support, to my local government, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South (Chief Hon.Isaac Ozor Awuzia), Rt.Hon.Joan Mrapkor, Chief A C OKOCHA, our party Chairman (Olorogun Barr.Kingsley Esiso), Vice Chairman Delta North PDP (Moses Iduh), Chief Goddey Obi Nzete (Secretary PDP), Chief Sunday Onoriode (State Organising Secretary) just to mention but a few.

She also commended the leaders of PDP and local government leaders for the appointment.
