Today, he graced Vanguard's weekend cover. According to him, it was about Twice As Tall. |
| American record executive, Diddy endorses Burna Boy’s Twice As Tall Album Posted: 15 Aug 2020 11:30 PM PDT  Nigerian super star, Burna Boy has continued his global takeover. His much awaited album, Twice as Tall was released Friday morning and it has recorded over 5 million stream within an hour.The project, which Diddy has called the "album of the year," was mostly recorded in Lagos during the pandemic. Eleven of the 15 tracks were produced by Nigerian producers.
 The album was executive produced by Diddy, and we are expecting Twice as Tall to outperform Burna's last album, The African Giant. Twice As Tall Album is available on all streaming platforms, which includes; Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Tidal, Pandora, iTune Store and Deezer.  The album contains 15 tracks, which features Stormzy, Youssou N'Dour, Naughty By Nature among many others. The album also includes contributions from Nigeria's Spaceship Collective, Mike Dean, Timbaland and others.  |

He was always insulted for eating too much, exposing his body and staying in bed all day with Lilo.In a recent interview, Eric has now revealed why he exposed his body so much when he was on the show.He claimed that his shirtless appearances during his stay in the BBNaija house was his strategy to sell himself. According to him, he wanted to show viewers he could transform people's bodies with his fitness brand. He said to Pulse, "My strategy was to sell myself so if you watch the show, you will see me a lot without my shirt to show people that I put in a lot of work into my body and to show them that this is what I do. | Ooni of Ife adds his powerful voice to calls for the scrapping of Big Brother Naija Posted: 15 Aug 2020 04:00 AM PDT  The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Wednesday added his powerful voice to the calls for the scrapping of Big Brother Nigeria reality show, also called BBNaija.The great monarch said the show misrepresents "the goodness and integrity of the Nigerian youths".Instead, the Ooni advocated for a new show that will be more beneficial to the youths.The new show already has a willing sponsor, Elizabeth Jack Rich, founder of Elizabeth Jack-Rch Aid FoundationThe Ooni spoke in Ile-Ife at an interaction with scores of youths who visited him as part of the celebration of International Youth Day. The monarch's guests are members of the Nigerian Youth Council.  He described the youths as the country's untapped immeasurable wealth and resources and urged them to take leadership roles. Without mincing words, the Ooni knocked the youths for misplacing their priorities. He appealed to them to redeem themselves as a matter of urgent public importance. "Nigerian youths are fond of accusing and abusing our leaders. Stop abusing them. Contribute your own quota. Let's wear our thinking caps and begin to act like the real future leaders that we are. "In the last general election, the total number of votes cast was around 27 million while over 170 million people voted during the 2019 Big Brother Naija reality show. "This is a practical reality of who Nigerian youths are and where our priorities lie as Nigerians. "The funny side in all of these is that we still go to bed, have a good sleep and wake up with the hope to meet a Nigeria we didn't create. Nigerian Youths! Nigerian Youths!! Nigerians Youths!!! "Unfortunately, every time I talk about this kind of attitude, everyone just laugh and move on. What kind of nation are we building? "When people say this country, or what kind of country is this, they are indirectly saying these people – it is the people that make a country; so what kind of Nigerian youths are we?" Ooni asked. The monarch suggested a new reality show, which will project the country's values and tradition. He urged leaders of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to work out plans on the show, which will be called, "The Big Nigeria Reality Show". "The proposed show will be structured in a way that young professionals, talented individuals and others across several field of endeavour will be showcased and helped to reach their peak. "This would help the participants and also help viewers to have access to people that can be seen as role models," Ooni added. The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, who was represented by Dr. Mariam Abdullahi, a Director in the Ministry, explained that the youths have major roles to play in the country's development. According to him, the digital literacy and skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, employability and leadership initiative of the Ministry are ongoing and all geared towards the development of our youths. "As government, we will keep ensuring that we equip our youths towards prosperity," the minister assured. Representing Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun at the event, the state's Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr. Yemi Lawal, explained that the youths have a lot to learn from the elders towards reaching their goals. "As much as we youths are important, let us be humble enough to learn from our elders because they were once like us. Humility, persistence and patience is the key and we must be upright in our dealings," he said. The President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr. Sara-Igbe Sukubo, thanked the Ooni for what he described as an unthinkable warm reception for the youths. "Your Imperial Youthfulness as you told us to address you, we are indeed happy and proud to have you as a father and mentor. "We have heard your kind words of wisdom and I want to assure you on behalf of the teeming Nigerian youths that we will put them into action. "Fellow Nigerian youths, as we reflect on youth engagement for global action today, let us realize that a new era of opportunities and responsibilities is now upon us. "Today's youths are now being called upon to rise as practical stakeholders in governance and development. Let us rise to this challenge," Sukubo said. The youths at the occasion announced Ooni Ogunwusi as the "Royal Father of Nigerian Youths", in recognition and appreciation of his immeasurable commitment towards youth development in the country. The founder of Elizabeth Jack-Rch Aid Foundation, who is equally the matron of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mrs. Elizabeth Jack-Rich was given an award for her role and stance as a mentor to the Nigerian youths. Mrs. Jack-Rich had earlier expressed the readiness of her foundation to sponsor the reality show proposed by the Ooni. She admonished youths to ignore all forms of distraction and negative peer pressure on their way to success.  |

The single has seen huge success with a Top 5 on Triller Billboard in less than a month of release and charted in over 15 countries. She said that viewers and housemates will always talk so she does not care if she has sex on national television.Ozo asked: "Will you care about public if you do it (sex) on national tv?"Nengi responding said: "No I will face dem if it happens, they will still talk about other things." The female housemate had earlier complained that condoms in the house are reducing faster. Nengi had denied having a shower with Ozo, telling fellow housemates that she was in the bathroom to talk privately with the male housemate.She had also made it clear that she wasn't going into intimacy with Ozo or any other male housemate because, according to her, she has a man waiting for her outside the BBNaija show.In one of his media tours, Eric was asked if he can confirm the incident which is still generating arguments among viewers, the ex-housemate said, "Confirmed." He went on to say that Dorothy was in love with Ozo but doesn't want to open up because "she's a strong girl." Ka3na has been outspoken on social media since being evicted from the show, and she recently made a slight jab at Nengi on the platform.On July 20th, 2020, just few days into this years edition of the show, Nengi won the Head of House challenge, and chose Wathoni as her deputy.Taking to social media moments back, evicted housemate, Ka3na, stated that the first head of house was a confused follower and not a true leader. See photos of his new looks below…  Some fans took to the reply section to air their opinions. | Posted: 15 Aug 2020 12:30 AM PDT  Fans of Big Brother reality show have dug out an old video of Mercy Eke hyping some BBNaija housemates, barely a day after she claimed she doesn't watch the show.Mercy Eke has been receiving heavy backlash on social media after she told her followers that she's too busy to watch BBNaija, unlike some 'jobless' people who stay home all day to watch the show.She also called out those asking her to show support for the current housemates. According to Mercy Eke, she doesn't know any of the housemates, so nobody can coerce her into choosing one. However, an old video which resurfaced on social media contradicts her statement as she was spotted in the video hailing some current housemates, especially Dorathy and Laycon.  |
