Maryam Charles – Why Women Should Pamper Their Husbands

Posted: 16 Aug 2020 01:30 AM PDT

Nollywood actress/filmmaker, Maryam Charles, took to social media to advise married women to take care of their husbands.

The actress said that men go through a lot from the time they were born till the time mantle of provisions is placed upon them and they deserved to be pampered by their wives.

She went on to recount how her husband work hard to provide for the family.

"I sometimes look at my husband and I'm amazed at how hard/smart he works just to provide a better life for our family.

See ehn, men go through a lot. From the time they are born, the mantle of provision is placed upon them. Everyday they wake up and it's how to make sure food is on the table for those at home that is on their minds. Kai! No be small thing o.

The responsible ones amongst them don't complain, you will not see them coming on social media bashing anybody, their own is to do their work, provide and protect their loved ones and go. It's the irresponsible ones that go around looking for girls to destroy, those ones have no future.

I'm not saying women don't also hustle or provide, I'm just giving props to the men. They have it rough and it shouldn't be so. To the women who have a responsible man by their side, take care of your man. Pamper him. Pleasure him. Praise him. Make him feel good because the words of our mouth serve as fuel for them. Force him to relax from time to time because if you leave them, these men will work and work and work lol

To all the boys and young men out there, always strive to be a responsible man.

And please, don't listen to those who say marriage is a scam. Marriage is a beautiful thing if you are blessed with the right person. But if you don't want to get married, nothing spoil. Again, don't listen to wrong advice from foolish people.", she wrote.

Kiki Mordi Questions Why People Attribute Women’s Success To S*X

Posted: 16 Aug 2020 01:00 AM PDT

Popular Award-winning journalist, Kiki Mordi has asked people to stop attributing successful women's wealth to sex work.

She pointed out that when a woman makes so much money, people start insinuating that she slept with men to afford it but no one insinuates a rich man made his money by having sex with people.

She wrote: "You can't f*ck your way to the top, if you could men would be doing it. Stop demanding successful women give you details about the whereabouts of their vaginas if you're not gonna ask men if their penis got them to the top.

"Tired of this narrative where women have to prove they have not had sex to merit their success when men just have to be successful. You're telling us that success does not belong to women unless it's handed to them by men. And via sex no less. Or that sex work isn't infact, work."

BBNaija2020: Moment Neo Kneels to Apologize to Vee after Quarreling with Her

Posted: 16 Aug 2020 12:30 AM PDT

Big Brother Naija 'lockdown' housemate, Neo took a romantic step to settle a quarrel earlier today with Vee.

He bent his knee and apologized to her.

Earlier in the day while clearing their room, Neo had sent his love interest, Vee away from his corner.

Few minutes after Neo had finished cleaning his corner, he went after Vee to request a cuddle on his bed but Vee rejected and gave him the only condition for cuddling him.

She asked Neo to kneel before her and apologise to which Neo did without blinking.

He knelt before Vee and blurted the words, "I am sorry."

A surprised Neo wondered aloud and responded saying "it's not a big deal to kneel and apologise to a lady.

"You won't know now until you get yourself into trouble and you need forgiveness."

Vee smiled and asked Neo who his mummy was to which he responded, 'You'
