| [Photo]: New collabo brews as Davido is spotted with popular American producer, Scott Storch Posted: 07 Aug 2020 10:30 PM PDT  Popular Nigerian singer and music executive, Davido has hinted a possible "collabo" after he was spotted in the studio with legendary American producer, Scott Storch.The producer posted a photo of him and Davido on his official Instagram page.According to him, they had just completed a recording session which he believes would definitely turn out to be a "big tune". Davido recently found his way to the US and simply replied "he's a Nigerian" when asked how he made his way to America despite lockdown. It appears his much anticipated album "A Better Time" which was announced to drop on 11th July got delayed probably because the Davido might just want to add some foreign musical spices to the album. Adekunle Gold says the timing of his wife's apology was pure coincidence.The music star in a post shared via his Twitter page on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, said he doesn't hate or discriminate against anyone irrespective of their life choices."I'm not a person who supports any kind of hate, period. I don't agree with homophobic behaviour in any sense, I'm cool with every human being including my fans, regardless of who they love and what they identify with," he wrote. He then went on to address the claims that his wife's apology over her homophobic comments was for selfish reasons.  "The timing of my wife's apology was a pure and simple coincidence. She had no idea about this or any interview whatsoever...I hope you consider her apology and give her a chance to grow," he said. Gold's post is coming less than 48 hours after Simi had taken to Twitter to apologise over her homophobic remarks during one of the episodes of her show, 'Stoopid Session.'  After she had tendered an unreserved apology on Twitter, a lot of people called her out claiming she only apologised because of her husband's recent cover for an LGBT magazine, Quazar.  |
| Reminisce says he got to know his family better when he took a break from music Posted: 07 Aug 2020 08:00 AM PDT Nigerian rapper, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru popularly known as Reminisce says he got to know his family better after he took a break from music. The music star says his almost 10-year-old daughter can rap and play the keyboard.The music star made this known during an exclusive interview with Pulse on Friday, July 24, 2020.According to him, he went on a break for almost two years, to get close to his children, know them better, and try his hands on new things."That one and a half year I got to know my children better, spend more time with my family. I was always home. Then I wasn't releasing music and a lot of people were like Reminisce...I was okay. I was just playing games, getting to know my children. For like two months now I only speak Yoruba to my children," he said. Just like several celebrity kids who have taken after their parents, Reminisce's children are threading towards that direction. "My first daughter plays the keyboard," he said. However, Reminisce says he played a major role in influencing his daughter's interest in playing the keyboard. Since the coronavirus pandemic crippled a lot of social activities around the world, many people including celebrities have been busy with newfound habits. Reminisce runs six kilometres with his wife every night. The aim is to be slim like music star, 9ice. Curiously, he doesn't have the urge to smoke at this time, but he misses smoking and drinking. Everyone around him smokes and drinks. The music star says even though he grew up in a polygamous family, sticking with his wife and kids is a major goal for him.  "I gave up vanity and the superstar life to focus on my family because I didn't want to be a polygamist like my dad." Reminisce is married with two daughters, Hafusa and Fatimah.  |

| 7 Suspects Arrested over Murder of Khafi’s Brother, Alexander Posted: 07 Aug 2020 12:00 AM PDT  Seven suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of BBNaija star, Khafi Kareem's younger brother, Alexander who was shot dead in west London.Five men, aged 18 to 24, a boy, 16, and a woman, 34, were arrested in suspicion of the murder, and are in custody.Mr Kareem's sister Khafi Kareem, a Met Police officer, said her brother's life had "mattered". Alexander had just been to a shop and was riding a scooter to a friend's home when he was killed on Askew Road.A white Range Rover, which had been seen speeding away from the crime scene, was later found burnt out. Det Ch Insp Wayne Jolley said the arrests were a "significant development." "I believe this murder to have been a case of mistaken identity, perpetrated recklessly and with no regard whatsoever for human life. "We will continue to work hard to make sure those responsible are brought to justice."  |
