Naira Marley Arraigned in Abuja Court Following his Arrest

Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has been arraigned before an Abuja mobile court for flouting COVID-19 rules.

The FCT Administration filed a four-count charge against him for hosting a concert in Jabi Lake mall in Abuja, in clear violation of COVID-19 directives on June 13, flouting the presidential ban on Interstate travels and public gatherings.

Naira Marley pleaded guilty to the charges and the presiding magistrate Idayat Akanni, handed down a N200,000 fine.

Naira Marley flew in a chartered plane meant for a Lagos judge to the Federal Capital Territory for the concert which was held on June 13.

“Success and her parents are ingrates” – MC Jollof blasts Success for talking about fake promises

Popular comedian, MC Jollof has attacked Success Adegor and her family for claiming that all the promises made to them were all audio promises.

Success in a recent video, claimed that all the promises made to her after her video went viral, were not fulfilled.

According to Success, her father still rides Okada to survive while her mother was given a job without payment. She said they only gave them N10,000 to stuff their pockets.

However, MC Jollof debunked their claims, insisting that Success' family received nothing less than N1million through donations. He said he personally went to her school and paid school fees.

The endowed actress shared a photo of her ring and said it's beautiful year to plan a wedding.

"Ring Alert.. Yes Yes Yes 2020. A beutiful year to plan a wedding." she wrote.

Recall that in June, Cossy took to her Instagram page to gush over her German boyfriend's recent act of love after he tattooed her name as well as a poem dedicated to her on his back.


Cossy who revealed in an interview last year, that her marriage may not last up to a month, is now ready to tie the knot.

American singer, Justin Bieber has shared photos showing him being baptised with his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber.

The 26-year-old singer shared a series of photos to his Instagram account on Aug. 5, showing him and his 23-year-old wife in a pool while holding on to their pastor's hand.

It's unclear when the ceremony took place, but the two have been legally married since Sept. 13, 2018, with a formal wedding coming just over a year later on Sept. 30, 2019.

Bieber captioned the photos: "The moment @haileybieber my wife and I got baptized together! This was one of most special moments of my life. Confessing our love and trust into Jesus publicly with our friends and family."

For the ceremony, Hailey wore a two-piece orange coloured bikini while Justin Bieber wore only shorts. More photos below….

Some viewers just want to get entertained on the show hence did not pay much attention when an object that seemed like a rat popped on screen in the Big Brother Naija lockdown house.

An observant viewer of the reality TV show spotted the rat surveying in the Big Brother house and posted the footage on Twitter.

In a video shared on Twitter, the object did not appear clearly but it seemed to be a rat and it was moving towards the far end of the wall while the housemates were eating.

Burna Boy – I Never Picked Up And Paper To Write Songs In My Life

Nigerian pop star Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has disclosed that he has never written his songs on paper but music is a spiritual thing to him.

Speaking in an interview with The New York Times, he disclosed that most of his music flow naturally to him because music itself is a spirit.

"I've never picked up a pen and paper and written down a song in my life," he said. "It all just comes, like someone is standing there and telling me what to say. It's all according to the spirits. Some of us are put on this earth to do what we do."

Speaking about his album, he announced that his 5th studio album "Twice As Tall" will be released on August 13th. He also disclosed that the album would be produced by Sean Combs also known as P. Diddy.

The producer P. Diddy speaking about the album said "The thing that I learned about him is the importance of what he's doing for his nation and representing the people that aren't really heard globally," he said. "Through this album, I think it's important for Africa to be heard. And so it's bigger than just an album. He's not just on a musical artist trip. He's a revolutionary. His conviction is serious."
