Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre welcome first child and its a boy!

Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Dhowre have welcomed their first child together.

The 48-year-old British actor confirmed to ET Canada that he and the Somali model are now proud parents to a baby boy, while promoting his new film, Concrete Cowboy, at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 13.

"So, it really resonates with me, I'm a father of two boys, and definitely I can't wait for my youngest to see this film," Idris said but didn't reveal the child's name.


Idris is also a father to 18-year-old daughter Isan and 6-year-old son Winston from previous relationships.

Idris and Sabrina who first began dating around March 2017, got engaged in 2018 before tying the knot in 2019.

Soso Soberekon – I Didn’t Break My TV When Kiddwaya Got Evicted, It Was A Prank

Popular Nigerian events promoter, Soso Soberekon, angrily destroyed his television screen after his favorite housemate in the 2020 Big Brother Naija reality, Kiddwaya was evicted.

In a video sighted on Ghgossip.com, Soso Soberekon was seen throwing an object at his television after Kiddwaya's name was mentioned as the housemate being evicted.

Following reactions on social media over his action, Soso Soberekon stormed his Instagram page to refute claims he has smashed his television because of Kiddaya.

According to him, the act was a stunt and he demonstrated how he made that possible describing it as prank.

Actress Ireti Doyle – Shy away from people who prematurely announce your greatness

Nollywood veteran actress, Ireti Doyle has dished out an advice to her followers.

In her tweet, Ireti stated that one should stay away from people who prematurely announce their greatness because there is much to be gained from the learning ropes. She added that without being baked to the right degree, one can leave even before they arrive.

Ireti Doyle wrote;

Shy away from people who prematurely announce your "greatness"… There's much to be gained from learning the ropes, starting from the bottom up and being baked to the right degree. Otherwise, you leave before you even/ever arrive.

Onyi Alex Blows Hot on Hypocrisy about BBNaija Housemates and Celebrities

Actress Onyi Alex has pointed out the double standards in how reality stars and celebrities are judged.

The actress said reality stars who go for Big Brother Naija are usually worshipped as legends after they "fornicate" and go naked on live TV, whereas random girls or celebrities who pose nude on Instagram are called prostitutes.


She said it's hypocrisy and stated that from now on, she will "do me" without caring about what people think.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome predicts when rapture will happen, says it won’t exceed 10 years

Founder of Loveworld Ministries alias Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has predicted when rapture will happen.

He disclosed this during an online ministration on Sunday, and urged everyone to give their life to Christ as "we are in the last hours."

According to the Church leader, Rapture won't exceed 10 years.
 
He said… "If the Rapture doesn't happen in 3 years, it might be 6 years. If it doesn't happen by then, it cannot exceed 10 years…says Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

You have to give your heart to Jesus today because we are living in the LAST HOURS. Send us a DM and we will lead you to christ. It's that simple."

The pastor made this known while using a mathematical formula: "Almighty Formula," to calculate the date of rapture to his congregation.

Reno Omokri - The only thing a man should beat out of his wife is poverty

Popular Nigerian author and lawyer, Reno Omokri, has dropped some words of advice for fellow men on social media.

Omokri in a post shared on his Twitter page urged men to desist from beating their wives.

The former presidential aide told men that God only designed their hands to slap away the disgrace of poverty from their wife.

Reno Omokri also said a man should never raise his hands on his wife even in the midst of provocation. According to him, a man should bear any insult from the wife, or go out when it gets too much.

His words:

"The only thing a man should beat out of his wife is poverty. Never beat her. God designed your hand to slap away the disgrace of poverty from your wife, not to slap pain into her face. Even if she insults you, bear it. If it gets too much, go out!

If you pick the bills in your house, your wife wont pick quarrels with you. In fact, she will join your children to call you 'daddy'. To dominate, simply eliminate poverty from your home. When your wife does not see bills, you will feel thrills!"

Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Prince has spoken up about his eviction from the lockdown house.

In a brief conversation with Ebuka after he was evicted from the house, Prince said he knew he was going to leave soon, because his mind wasn't at ease.

According to Prince, he fought so hard to win the Head of house game because he didn't want to leave the house so soon.

The Meaning of Greatness in Nigerian Music?

Greatness is the summation of all the things an artist achieves in his career. In this context, an artist can be great, but it doesn't mean that they are.

Humanity likes blowing up the achievements of things it likes to unrealistic levels.

Does ability always equate greatness?

Once in a while, when you are a MI Abaga, Wizkid or Tuface Idibia, yes. But ability has little or nothing to do with greatness. A lot of talented people do good things in their careers, yet never truly transcend to the level of greatness. Equally, some people who aren't prodigiously talented like D'banj achieve greatness with what their music achieves.

Why do people usually equate ability to greatness?

Preference and that is human sentiment. Humanity likes blowing up the achievements of things it likes to unrealistic levels. People also don't understand how to separate their sentiment from fact. Your dislike for an artist doesn't negate their greatness.

OAP Daddy Freeze apologises for calling Oyedepo a bald-headed fowl

Daddy Freeze says he did not intend to dishonour Oyedepo.

Nigerian Broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze has apologised to the founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo for calling him a bald-headed fowl in a video he released 19 months ago.

Known for propagating controversial Christian doctrines, Daddy Freeze, who is the Convener of the Free the Sheeple Movement and Leader of the Free Nation in Christ had come under fire for verbally attacking Oyedepo in the video.

But the broadcaster in a video he released on Saturday, September 12, 2020, said his attention was recently called to the video, saying he didn't intend to dishonour the cleric.

He said, "My attention has been drawn to a video I released circa two years, seven months ago while addressing some pertinent issues that arose back then. I apologise for the delivery of my message and for any insult to Bishop David Oyedepo in that video as I didn't in any way intend to dishonour, disrespect or disregard the person of the bishop.

"The perceived intention to the contrary is regretted. My methods of addressing doctrinal issues have long since devolved to a more scriptural and less confrontational approach. I was and still am very passionate in my quest to address what I believe are unresolved doctrinal issues, however, from a more amiable perspective."

He, however, urged Christians to be open to adopting theological frames of reference for the Christian faith to thrive.

A mum-of-two, Kate Cunningham, 38,who went viral for marrying a tree last year, leaving her boyfriend, has celebrated her first wedding anniversary.

According to the Mirror UK, Kate who changed her surname to Elder, when she and the tree tied the knot, said she's more loved-up than ever and has no plans for divorce.

She also admits that it was one of the best decisions she has ever made when she married the tree at Rimrose Valley Country Park in Sefton, Merseyside, United Kingdom.

The former teaching assistant who visits the tree five times a week , said that trees would always come first because they keep us alive.

She celebrated her first year of marriage with two friends and some elderflower champers – leaving her boyfriend and two kids at home. She also admitted that her 15-year-old son is "a little" embarrassed.

Award winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has replied a Twitter follower who criticized his latest song, Fem.

The fan, identified as Seyi OG insinuated that Davido's latest song, Fem is not really worth the hype, and Davido just pulled the biggest heist on YouTube with the song.

In his words;

"When the hype is down, we'll talk about how Davido pulled the biggest heist on YouTube with Fem".

Davido, in his response, told the fan to just accept that he is bigger than his fave.

Award winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has taken to Instagram to shower praises on his first son, Boluwatife.

This is coming few weeks after he was called out on social media by a man identified as Seyi Gbangbola over his role as a father.

Gbangbola in a post shared on Instagram submitted that the singer is not yet mentally and emotionally mature to play the role of a father.

According to him, the point of view is coming from the fact that Wizkid shows off only one of his three sons on social media while neglecting the rest.


"How can you have three beautiful boys, yet you are always seen with one. How do you expect the other kids to feel?" Gbangbola's post read in part.

The individual went on to note that he wonders how the kids feel about the treatment from their father.

Brakeinface advised those who join the award winning singer to say stuffs like "who dey" and other slangs to stop or else they might end up receiving slaps.

Terry Waya, the father of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya, has revealed that former housemate, Erica, has refused to pick his calls.

The billionaire father of BBNaija housemate also disclosed that Erica has refused to respond to text messages he sent to her.

He disclosed this during an interview with BBC Africa Pidgin.

Waya, however, said Kiddwaya's elder brother has been in touch with Erica, which he said was gratifying.

He said: "I con send message to her to tell her to take am easy, that it is not the end of the world because since she left she has not been taking calls, so I sent her a text message to calm down and Kiddwaya's senior brother is talking to her, so that is not a problem.

"At least she con show my son love for there, so personally I don't have a problem with her"(sic).

Some people have suggested that he probably learnt if from the snippet of the song Davido posted on his Instagram page in May. Some have expressed shock and questioned if phones are sent to them in the house.
