BBNaija2020: Toke Makinwa, Dotun and others defend Neo after being dragged for washing Vee’s pants

Some Nigerian celebrities have defended BBnaija housemate, Neo, for washing his love interest, Vee's pant. Neo on Wednesday night was caught washing Vee's pants.

Nengi who was in shock after she saw Neo washing Vee's pants after the Lipton task said Vee was a lucky girl to have a man like Neo wash her pants.

However, Neo's action was criticized by Nigerians who described Neo as a disgrace to men.

But, Popular Nigerian On-Air personality, OAP Dotun in defense of Neo took to his Instagram, saying there was nothing wrong in washing a lady's pants.


He wrote: "There is nothing wrong in washing a woman's pants if she washes your boxers too.
 
"We need to start leaving all these archaic way of seeing things. It is double standard if she washes yours and you cannot wash hers.

Also, Comedian Funnybone agreed with Dotun, adding that he would willingly wash his partner's pants.


"She does not necessarily need to wash mine in return. I will willingly and effortlessly do it for my partner. It's no big deal honestly, " Funnybone wrote on Instagram.

Toke Makinwa on the other hand wrote on her Twitter page "Now looking for who will wash my pants."

Actor Segun Arinze celebrates 55th birthday

Popular Nigerian singer, Teni has been dragged by fans of Big Brother Naija disqualified housemate Erica after she called her " Omo Igbo"

Omo Igbo is a term popularly used to address Igbo tribe in Nigeria by the Yoruba tribe, while others might find the word offensive, others don't have a problem with been called " Omo Igbo"

However, Teni who is a big supporter of BBNaija Laycon, who is a Yoruba and a strong contender for the N85 million cash prize, has been called out by Erica's fans for calling their favourite " Omo Igbo " since Erica is an Igbo girl.

Teni while praying for Laycon in a new video said "Omo Igbo" which was the genesis of the problem, as Erica's Fans blast Teni for the using the phrase which they said was very offensive.

Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Sadiya Farouq Reportedly Weds Chief Of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar

According to new reports, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar have tied the knots.

DailyTrust reports that the wedding Fatiha between the two top government officials, held last Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Maitama Juma'a Mosque in Abuja.

"It is true that the chief of air staff and the humanitarian affairs minister have gotten married. Very few people were invited to attend the wedding fatiha because the couple and those close to them didn't want to publicize the issue" a source told DailyTrust.

Another source said the two have been in love for some time.

"They have been in a relationship for a while and what happened on Friday has put to rest all the speculations about her relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari," he said.

Hajia Farouq made news in October last year when it was widely speculated that she was set to wed President Buhari. The Presidency released a statement dismissing the report.

The Chief of Air Staff is from Bauchi State and is already married to two wives with children.

Disqualified ex-BBNaija housemate, Erica has left a message for her fans after fans of Laycon referred to as Icons dragged her following Laycon's genotype revelation.

Recall that Erica's fans called Elites also defended her on Twitter.

Reacting in a post, Erica thanked them for standing by her.

The whole bad blood started the day Erica got disqualified for insulting and threatening Laycon and broke other BBNaija house rules.

Erica later apologized for her comments thrice; first to the housemates, then to Big Brother, and later in a post-BBNaija video, in which she offered a passionate apology to Laycon, the housemates, and to the viewers of the show.

Yesterday when Laycon revealed his genotype as SC, his fans and trolls took the opportunity to drag Erica alleging that she knew about his medical condition and that was why she said Laycon won't live beyond 50 years.

However, Erica's fans defended her which resulted in a messy fight on Twitter yesterday.

They went to the extent of even tagging popular Nigerian singer, Teni a tribalist for calling Erica "Omo Igbo" in a video.

Overwhelmed with how the Elites trooped to micro blogging platform, Twitter to defend her against Icons and trolls alike, Erica took to her official Twitter page to appreciate her fans for standing by her.

She tweeted… "Elites.. God gave me my new family," she tweeted, adding, "I'm no longer alone, I thank God everyday I have you! I will make you proud! You make me feel loved!"

Hadid first revealed that she was pregnant back in April during a chat with Jimmy Fallon.

American singer Zayn Malik and his partner Gigi Hadid have welcomed their first child together.

The music star took to his Twitter page on Thursday, September 24, 2020, where he posted a picture of the newborn gripping his heavily tattooed hand.

"Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task,'' he tweeted.

"The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x."

Congratulations to the singer and model on the arrival of their baby.

Hadid first revealed that she was pregnant back in April during a chat with Jimmy Fallon.

"Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support," she said.

Her statement came days after TMZ announced that she was expecting a baby.


The two first started dating in 2015, before announcing a split in March 2018.

2020 Big Brother Naija housemate, Laycon got his fellow housemates feeling sorry and bad after he opened up on his blood group during a conversation on blood group.

As every housemate disclosed what their blood group was, Laycon said he does not like to reveal his genotype because when he does people think he is sick.

The 26-year-old rapper born in Lagos told them that he is Sickle Cell and Dorathy quickly asked;
