Be ready for shifts in shopping
behavior this holiday season

While there's no question that the holidays will look a little different this year, it will continue to be a season of peak demand and a critical time to connect with shoppers. To help you stay ahead of the curve, we've identified five big shifts in shopping behavior. For example, 69% of US shoppers plan to shop online for the holidays more than in previous years, with more people going online to browse and buy for the very first time.¹

As you make your final preparations for this year's peak shopping season, keep these best practices in mind:

•	Identify your highest-value products using retail category reporting. Then, capture holiday traffic surges by allocating adequate budgets to campaigns promoting these products.
•	Help people discover your brand and products with Showcase Shopping ads. Complete this 10-minute Skillshop course to learn how Showcase ads can help you differentiate your brand and influence shoppers at the start of their purchase journeys.

•	Highlight your holiday deals with sales prices and promotions. You can also let customers know when sales will end by including countdown customizers in your ads.

•	Set up automated rules to alert you of potential issues during the peak holiday season. You can use automated rules to receive email alerts for performance changes or website issues.
