Fashion designer, Yomi Casual laments as hoodlums vandalize his store

Popular fashion designer, Yomi casual has shared his pain on social media after his Surulere store was vandalized by hoodlums.

Yomi Casual, brother to popular comedian, Ayo Makun took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking video of his vandalized and looted store.

Sharing the video, he wrote;


"woke up to this and the first thing that came to my mind is "It's already too late to educate the hoodlums that this fight is for all of us and not at each other"

If you are in surulere please stay safe , surulere stores are being looted by hoodlums.. Safety first".

BBNaija’s Gifty mocks End SARS protesters; accuses them of ‘wasting lives all because of protesting’

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty Powers has mocked End SARS protesters while accusing them of wasting lives in the name of protests.

After multiple lives were lost following days of protests calling for an end to police brutality in Nigeria, the former reality star took to Instagram to put the blame on the End SARS protesters. She also told protesters that it's "too late" now because they've "woken the lion up."

"Na now una dey stay indoors… noooo continue protesting," she wrote.

She added: "When you are praying to God eh, pray for wisdom too.

"It's too late… you all have woken the lion up…

"Ok did your protest bring back the dead? Una wan do wenti America don do… Don't compare Nigeria with America ooo… there is a great giant difference…

"Nooo they shouldn't stay home ooo… the protest should continue."

"When I was saying that everyone should go home in one piece, dem say I dey talk like mad woman… Oya naa see the result here… Everything in this life no be gra-gra ooo.. Life na planning…

"All the shouting wey una do, e bring back the people wey don die? No. So why waste more lives all because of protesting…"



Gospel singer Celestine Donkor and family robbed at home in Tuesday dawn operation

Narrating her encounter with the robbers, the singer said they broke into her home during an operation which happened 12 and 2 am Tuesday dawn.

Robbers have invaded the home of Ghanaian gospel singer Celestine Donkor.

"They locked me and my husband in our bedroom and went to the kids' room," she said.

Detailing how the robbery happened in a Facebook post, she wrote "one of my daughters tried to shout, she said she saw a man dressed in all black with a flashlight in his mouth, the next thing she suddenly felt drowsy and knocked off. We had to break our door to come out. Thank God the kids are all ok and no one was hurt".

Talking about what they have lost. she added that "they took all our phones (3 phones: My Samsung s9+, my machine is gone, iPhones, 2 laptops, a tablet and made away with all cash we got at home, we found the bags and stuff they searched outside. It looks like they entered through the balcony, which is very unbelievable, how they managed to enter our bedroom, picked our phones and locked us inside beats my mind".


The "God of the Storm" singer is now pleading with the public to help her with any suggestion on how they can track the devices. "WE ARE HOME PHONELESS AND CASHLESS AT THE MOMENT... Please if you come across any of such devices with my pictures, kindly report. All our Wallpapers are pictures of my self and hubby... Can anyone advice on how to track the devices? Hmmm... I am posting this from my kids' tablet using WiFi," she wrote.

Don't blame Nana Addo for Buhari's incompetence; Medikal tells Yvonne Nelson

Before the Ghanaian President spoke about the EndSARS brutality in Nigeria, the Ghanaian actress among other social media users criticized him for keeping mute on the matter.

Medikal has responded to opinions shared by Yvonne Nelson over Nana Addo's long silence on the EndSARS protest.

However, Medikal sees her comment from another angle.

Responding to a tweet of a fan that Yvonne Nelson shared to justify why she thinks the Ghanaian president must speak on the issue, Medikal said: "The Ghanaian president ein silence on social media no de mean say he is doing nothing behind closed doors."

Quoting the actress' tweet with his reply, he added that "How many times wonna President address the nation during COVID/ lockdown period in Ghana ? Severally ! don't blame Nana for Buhari's incompetence !".

His since tweet since went viral, gathering close to 2000 retweets with hundreds of fans who either agreed or disagreed with him. See his post below plus some replies.


Uche Elendu's shop vandalised and looted by hoodlums

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu's shop has been vandalised and looted by hoodlums.

The actress says the same people she has protested for, destroyed her business.

The movie star took to her Instagram page on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, where she shared photos of the shop that was vandalised by the hoodlums.

"They took all my years of struggle and hard work from me.. everything 💔💔 . I thank God for life. Posterity will judge all of you. E shock me ooooo
