Nigerians ‘Attack’ Burna Boy For Ignoring The #EndSARS Campaign

Nigerians on the micro-blogging site, Twitter has called out Burna Boy for ignoring the #EndSARS protest.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS have been labelled with Citizen brutality and dishonoring of human rights under the disguise of tackling crime.

In this regards, Nigerians on Twitter called on the Federal Government to eradicate the unit as they are turning into a menace they are suppose to curb.


Among those campaigning for the dissolution of SARS are several celebrities including, Wizkid, Davido, Falz, Mercy Eke, and a host of others.

Out of rage for his silence, Nigerians have called out Burna Boy for not also lending his voice in the campaign to #EndSARS, instead he's promoting his music.

Anita who had earlier shared a photo of herself on her official Instagram page complemented her glowing skin.

In no time, a troll attacked the actress, condemning her face with claims that it is filter and makeup enhanced.

Bishop Oyedepo – I will consider it a downgrade to become Nigeria’s president

The presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has said that he would consider it a demotion if invited to become Nigeria's president.

Speaking during a sermon on Sunday, October 4, 2020, the bishop said that becoming Nigeria's president is not where he belongs as there are many people who depend on him

He said:
"I will consider it a demotion if I were invited to be the President of this great country. It's a great country, it's a great honour for anyone to be President but that's not where I belong. I belong to above all nations.

Angry or happy, there are more than 100 nations now hooked on to this service; and we all belong there together. That's where we belong. Some can see it, others can't see it: They say, 'I don't believe it, I just need food, water and eat, drink and die. I don't need above all nations.

I've said it before, the highest concentration of giants in this generation will emerge from this platform. If you are one of them, let me hear your loudest Amen. The same way, this Church did not need any human help to get to where we are, you won't bow to any devil to scale any height in your life.

#EndSARS: Journalist condemns Paul Okoye for going shirtless while campaigning

Nigerian TV journalist, Sandra Ezekwesili has condemned singer, Paul Okoye alias Rudeboy for going shirtless in his #EndSARS campaign video.

Rudeboy had earlier shared a shirtless video where he spoke against police brutality and called for an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The TV broadcaster then said the fact he could go shirtless to pass a message is an indication of male privilege.

For her, if it were a lady who posted a shirtless video, she would have been condemned, but because it is a male, no one seems to care.

She tweeted… "Male privilege is making a viral shirtless video and having everyone pay attention only to your message."

BBNaija’s Praise shaves off dreads says its a “New beginning”

Former big brother Naija housemate, Praise Nelson has shaved off his dreads.

The dance instructor took to his official Instagram page to share dapper new photos of his new look. "New beginnings starts NOW !" he captioned the photos.

Praise, an exotic dancer and fitness instructor, was the sixth housemate to be evicted from the keenly contested reality show.

His eviction left 14 housemates to compete for the N85m grand prize, which ended on September 27th with Laycon emerging the winner and Dorathy the second runner up.

The reality TV star and fast rising Nigerian rapper shared the rap video via his official Instagram page yesterday, October 4.

In the video, Laycon spoke against the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery squad (SARS).

He condemned the SARS police unit for extorting money, killing innocent citizens and making mothers cry.

This article describes how to <EMBED ...> tags to plugins on a web page. Plugins gives special features to a webpage.

<EMBED ...> help put a browser plugin on any web page. A plugin is a special program located on the client computer (i.e. not on your web server) that handles its own special type of data file.

The most common plugins are for sounds, videos, news and movies. The embed tag gives the location of a data file that the plugin should handle.

The <EMBED ...> simply uses the SRC attribute to indicate the location of any plugin data file, and usually also gives a WIDTH and HEIGHT of the plugin area. For example, the following code from Twitter embeds a news story on a web page:

However <EMBED ...> is said not to be part of the HTML 4 or xHTML 1 specifications, but it is still widely supported by modern browsers.

So to embed a code for a tweet from Twitter, go to the tweet, on the right corner, your will see three dots, right click it and a drop down menu will be unfolded.

Among the list, choose embed tweet and take it to the HTML section of the web page you want it embedded.

Christian Songs We Might Have Been Singing Wrongly

As a Christians while growing up we were accustomed to a lot of Christian songs.

There are songs you must have been singing throughout your younger years only for you to be informed that you've been singing the wrong words all along.

Often times we hear wrongly the words to some of our favourite songs and at other times we repeat the lyrics we've heard from others and continue singing the wrong lyrics for ages.

The following are the top songs on my list :

1. We go hey, hey your name debade all the way:
This is one of the gospel songs that people have invented their own version. The appropriate words are "We go dey hail, hail your name, day by day all the way".

2.. The most Excellency is Jesus :
This is a very popular Nigerian song sang mostly by Christians. However, unknown to them, they have been singing it wrongly.

The original lyrics is, ' the most excellent king is Jesus '.

3. Osingo singo, praise the Lord:
Someone must have invented this sweeter version which sounds 'better' than the original one. The person must have thought the original version was boring and as such decided to give it a nice touch.

The right thing is, ' O sing my soul and praise the Lord' .

4. With thanksgiving, as we are living, sanctuary, for you :
This is another song that people have invented their own version. The correct version is, ' With thanksgiving, I'll be a living, sanctuary, for you' .

Mike Ezuruonye Denies That He Was Arrested In The UK For £700,000 Love Scam

Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye, has reacted to a report that he was arrested in the UK for defrauding some older women of £700,000.

To prove that the report is fake, the actor took to his verified Instagram account to share a video of himself eating while he debunked the rumour.

He said, "I've been quiet for too long about this nonsense. I've posted people who have been arrested. I have posted some of those who have impersonated me. I have tagged the EFCC, the police; they have been quite helpful and are still helpful. And some idiots will just wake up and write nonsense."

Speaking further, Ezuruonye said that he was not arrested but was at a location working.

He also revealed that some women who had been defrauded by his impostors ganged up against him.

"I heard they've formed a club against me. Some old women who have been defrauded," he said.

"Why are you giving money to somebody you don't know? What are you looking for? What are you indulging in? And the worst part is that some of you are older than my mother. What are you looking for in that actor, in that musician? And when you are defrauded, you now find the real account of the person. But while you were frolicking with the fake person, you never took your time to look for the real person's account," he added.

Popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has clamped down on President Muhammadu Buhari via a post shared on his official Twitter page.

The singer reacted to a goodwill message from the Nigerian president to US president, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, who recently tested positive for coronavirus.

Wizkid in his message stated that the American president is of no concern to Buhari as there are more pressing issues in the country.

According to the Smile crooner, police brutality is still ongoing and several Nigerian youths have lost their lives to the ruthlessness of SARS operatives.


The singer called on the president to address the issues of his country and not concern himself with what his going on in America.

A Nigerian Gospel Music Minister, Olive Praise has advised newly married couples.

Taking to his Twitter account, he urged them to stop spending their first night with each other in a hotel room. According to Praise, it is wrong  because those are same beds hired by some men to sleep with prostitutes.

A hair vendor has called out the first evicted housemate of BBNaija lockdown season, Ka3na for renting N300,000 hair and refusing to pay for it.

The hair vendor identified as Leevenchy Hair took to her Instagram page to share details of the incident with a warning to the self acclaimed 'boss lady' to return her hair as soon as possible.

Nigerian content creator and comedian, Debo Adebayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni has hinted on how complicated he finds being in a relationship or even marriage.

The 'Ooin' crooner who is known for creating hilarious contents on infidelity in marriages stated that he has a soft heart, one which he would not want to get hurt or hurt someone else.

According to him, a sweet and amazing person you know before marriage could change overnight after matrimony.

"I am totally scared of being in a relationship/Marriage. Why? I hate to hurt anyone and I hate to be hurt. I wee cry.

"Marriage is tricky. The sweet and amazing person you know before marriage could turn out to be someone totally different after marriage. Don't pressure yourself and don't allow family or society pressure you," Mr. Macaroni wrote.
