CNN Releases Second Report On Lekki Tollgate Shooting (Video)

The Cable News Network, CNN has released a second investigative report on the Lekki tollgate shooting despite sanction threat from the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Some days ago, CNN released a documentary video that covered the Lekki massacre on how the Nigerian Army opened fire on #Endsars protesters.

The network, on Tuesday further released a second report with more incriminating footage showing soldiers shooting at unarmed protesters on October 20, 2020.

The second report also shows the Commander, 81 Division, Brig. Gen Ahmed Taiwo, admitting before the judicial panel in Lagos that military men had live ammunition in their weapons while at the tollgate.

Rita Daniels, the mother of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has been criticized on social media after sharing a photo of herself in bum short.

Rita who is currently under the care of her billionaire 60-year-old son-in-law took to Instagram to share a photo of herself look 16.

Sharing the photo, she captioned it;

"The day you plant the seed is not the day you will eat the fruit."

While the multitudes are showering Regina Daniel's mother all the love in this world, an Instagram user lambasted Rita for giving out her daughter to an old for the benefits attached.

He wrote;

Ex-beauty queen, Nengi Hampson has stumbled on a tweet from fellow reality star, Wathoni Anyansi during the 2017 MBGN.

During the 2017 beauty pageant of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, in which Nengi contested, Wathoni showered her love and support via Twitter.

She wrote;

Fans create movie cover after Dj Cuppy pleaded to Marvel to cast her sister in ‘Black Panther 2’

Popular Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola aka Dj Cuppy has shown support for Temi Otedola's acting career as she pitches her for Marvel's Black Panther 2.

DJ cuppy took to Twitter to ask for a cast for her sister, Temi Otedola sequel to the Hollywood blockbuster movie, Black Panther 2, which will be shot next year.

Her tweet reads;

Adamu Garba gives update on his $1Bn lawsuit against Twitter CEO

Former Presidential candidate, Adamu Garba has announced that his first hearing on the lawsuit filed against Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey will be coming up in a few days.

Adamu had initiated a $1 billion suit against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of Twitter International Company, Jack Dorsey, at the Federal High Court, Abuja, over alleged sponsorship of the #EndSARS Protest across the country.

In a Twitter interaction with a popular singer, Peruzzi asked the businessman about the situation of his lawsuit against Jack.

In response, Adamu Garba wrote;

"Very much so, our first hearing should be before end of this month, hopefully. @peruzzi."

17-year-old girl who got 7 A1’s in WAEC, dies (Photos)

A 17-year-old teenager who got 7A1s in the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has reportedly died.

Chisom Chukwuneke, bagged straights A's in the exam and emerged the best student from her school, Graceland college in Enugu last year.

She went on to win numerous academic awards in her school. According to reports, Chisom was sick and was already making a recovery before she died.


A photo of her as she sat on her hospital bed has been shared online. Her obituary reveals she died on October 18 in a hospital in South Africa.

She will be buried on Tuesday, December 1, in Okpuno village, Umuogali, Oba, Idemili South Anambra state.

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington has lambasted the special assistant to the President, Lauretta Onochie over the approach of encouraging the use of a nose mask.

Lauretta had taken to Twitter to share a photo of children below the age of 7 using cartons as an alternative for a nose mask.

Sharing the photo, she wrote;

"WEARING A MASK IS NOT A POLITICAL STATEMENT. ITS NOT PUNISHMENT BY GOVERNMENT PROTECT YOURSELF. Wear one. These have made efforts with masking where those of us who are more vulnerable & susceptible to COVID-19 are still swearing that it's a scam. God bless their efforts."



However, Adesua Etomi and many other Nigerians reacted negatively to the image as most considered it disturbing.

The reality star posted a new photo of herself donned in her lawyer attire and remined everyone that she is till a "Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria".


A follower questioned her degree, asking if she actually passed or bought it. Cee-C replied with screenshots of her certifications.

Man faces sound system in direction of church that always ‘disturbs’ him

A Twitter user has shared a photo of a sound system a friend placed in the direction of a church that usually disturbs him in the morning even on weekdays.

According to @ebelee_, her friend began playing American singer, Cardi B's "WAP" after placing the sound system on the fence demarcating the two compounds.

The Twitter user wrote;

"Faysal has killed me this morning. There's a church next to his house that's always making noise early in the morning even on weekdays, baba carried his sound system from his house to put on the fence demarcating the 2 compounds and started playing WAP"

The FEM crooner turned twenty-eight today, November 21 and has been receiving massive show of love on and off social media by friends, family, fans and well-wishers.

Singer Jaywon Reveals Real Reason He Is Still Single

Singer Iledare Olajuwonlo, popularly known as Jaywon has revealed why he is still single.

The 34-year-old who launched his record label named Next World Music in 2013 after his exit from Kennis Music made the revelation on his Instastories.

Using singer 9ice scandal as an example, Jaywon said it was wrong to marry a lady and ridicule her.

Mainland Hospital – “Lagos State Govt. Ordered Us Not To Release Bodies Of #Endsars Protesters”

A public medical facility in Lagos, Mainland Hospital has claimed that the Lagos state government gave them a firm warning after the Lekki shooting not to release bodies of deceased #Endsars protesters.

Dr. Abimbola Bowale in an interview with The Punch noted that the directive came from the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon Justice M. A. Dada (Mrs.).

According to Punch, Dr. Bowale, said, "It is only the commissioner (of health) or even Mr. Governor that can release the body to you, Sir. So, you will have to contact him."

This is coming days after the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Mrs. Mojisola Dada in a public announcement, directed relatives of people who lost their lives between October 19 and 27 to visit the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) to identify and claim bodies of their loved ones.

Kemi Olunloyo – “CNN Stole My Investigation On Lekki Tollgate Shooting”

Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has accused the Cable News Network (CNN) of stealing her work on the Lekki tollgate shooting.

CNN had released a documentary on the Lekki Massacre that reveal how the soldier opened fire on #Endsars protesters.

In a lengthy write up via Twitter, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo challenged the broadcasting company of plagiarising her work without giving credits to whom it is due.
