| Cardi B Officially Files To Dismiss Divorce With Offset Posted: 03 Nov 2020 11:30 PM PST  Celebrity couple, Cardi B and Offset are officially dismiss their divorce petition.According to reports, the 28-year-old rapper filed documents in Georgia to officially dismiss the divorce paperwork she originally set into motion in September 2020.At that time, Cardi B explained that she was tired of the constant arguing and that she no longer felt a connection with the Migos rapper.During her 28th birthday celebrations last month, the couple sparked speculations they were back together after the pair were filmed kissing and dancing. The entertainment site added that Cardi filed her dismissal "without prejudice," which means she still has the right to refile the divorce at a later date if things go wrong again. However, a judge must sign off on the dismissal to formalize it.  |
| Rahama Sadau Reacts To Backlash Received Over Backless Dress Photos Posted: 03 Nov 2020 11:00 PM PST  Actress, Rahama Sadau has reacted to the backlash she got on Twitter after she shared photos of herself in a dress showing her back.Arewa Twitter NG slammed the Kannywood star for wearing a dress that is "Unislamic" with one of them saying she was wearing "Devil's dress".The argument degenerated into a religious fight as some accused Northerners of being hypocrites. Some even went as far as insulting the Prophet Mohammed.In a Twitter tread she shared Monday's evening, Rahma said it is unfortunate that the harmless photos she shared resulted in a religious clash. She stated that she will not tolerate any form of insult on her religion and Prophet Mohammed. Read her tweets below:  Salam, it's sad and unfortunate waking up to series of unexpected messages, tags & trends over the harmless pictures i posted. As a human, I laughed at some, frowned against many & disapproved most. To the most unfortunate event, some of these comments took a different dimension. Having mixed followers,bashing each other's faiths to the extent of creating trends like "Assistant Allah" (subhanallah), raining curses and some tweeting blasphemous words to our Prophet Muhammad (SAW)- this is the height of it and it stands condemnable and regrettable. I'm with all sense of sincerity, dissociating myself from such derogatory & hurtful words. To everyone who knows me or follows me, should know I'm not d type that react to anything or embrace advices from social media moral police.But my Prophet & religion is where i draw d line. Any disrespect to my religion and Prophet regarding those pictures remain condemned and reprobated, not in any way & not on any event. The perpetrators should learn to separate people's way of life and respect for their faiths. I remain defender of my Prophet in heart, online and offline. I deeply and sincerely apologized for the unseen circumstances that led to these avoidable, yet regrettable dramas. It's in human nature to judge others and act as saint, I appreciate those who felt offended & decided to call me through DM's, Text messages & phone calls. Ike has also deleted the birthday post he made for Mercy Eke on his Instagram and Twitter. Mercy and Ike met during the BBNaija 2019, Pepper Dem season. I am truly grateful to see another year in my life and can only thank God! I celebrate being alive and I celebrate that God has kept me. Thank God with me oooo!!  But I would be lying if I said there wasn't hurt and a tinge of sadness on this day knowing my brother Alex isn't here to celebrate with me. | Singer, Tiwa Savage reveals she attempted suicide twice Posted: 03 Nov 2020 05:00 AM PST  Nigerian music sensation, Tiwa Savage has revealed how she attempted suicide twice after she suffered depression over racist comments while in London.The mother of one disclosed this in a recent Black Box interview with BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on 'Bounce Live Radio'.According to her, she attempted to take her own life as a result of the bullying she received as a black kid in London.Tiwa Savage disclosed she moved to London with her mother at the age of 10. She also said her strong Nigerian accent at the time was mocked by her classmates in school.  In her words, "I was teased so bad. They used to call me 'African girl', 'Foo foo', 'Your food smells' and so on. It was terrible. It was so bad that I literally tried to kill myself two times. I was really depressed." | Is This Fake News Too – Banky W Asks Nigerian Army Over Video of Soldiers Flogging Civilians Posted: 03 Nov 2020 02:00 AM PST  Popular Nigerian singer and politician, Banky W has lashed out over the viral video of Nigerian soldiers assaulting civilians in Ibadan.From a video that surfaced on the internet, soldiers were seen flogging a woman over her mode of dressing, and a man also whose hair got trimmed with scissors.In reaction, Banky W tasked the Nigerian Army with calling it a fake video, one that is probably 'photoshopped' just as the Army debunked the shooting footage from the Lekki tollgate area.  He wrote, "Dear @HQNigerianArmy … is this fake news too? Soldiers assaulting young women and shaving the hair of young men… is this "photoshop" too? Cc @seyiamakinde @MBuhari".

Scott's Twitter account is however still active, and he's yet to confirm if it was the comments left by some of his followers on Instagram that made him deactivate his account.
