If you are wondering if this career path is for you or want to hear from employers looking for interns or full-time employees, sign up for this unique pop-up shop. The hiring cycle for many consulting firms starts early and doesn't always overlap with the academic calendar. If you want to be a consultant, you need to be prepared to start over the winter holiday. We are targeting the firms with a large Terp presence so you have a strong chance to intern at these prestigious institutions. EPA's Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) develops national programs, policies, and regulations for controlling air pollution and radiation exposure. OAR's programs include pollution prevention and energy efficiency; indoor and outdoor air quality; industrial air pollution; pollution from vehicles and engines; radon; acid rain; stratospheric ozone depletion; climate change; and radiation protection. For more information, visit epa.gov/oar. Postings open Tuesday, December 8th and close at 11:59 pm on Monday December 14th. Who May Apply:Individuals enrolled or accepted for enrollment seeking a diploma, certificate, bachelor's degree, graduate degree, or professional degree from a qualifying educational institution on a full- or half-time basis. Qualification Requirements:Pathways Interns qualify for an initial appointment based on their educational achievements. To qualify for the GS-04 level, you need to have completed two full academic years of post high school study or an associate's degree. To qualify for the GS-07 level, you need to have completed one full-year of graduate study, or an undergraduate degree with superior academic achievement.
