If you are wondering if this career path is for you or want to hear from employers looking for interns or full-time employees, sign up for this unique pop-up shop. The hiring cycle for many consulting firms starts early and doesn't always overlap with the academic calendar. If you want to be a consultant, you need to be prepared to start over the winter holiday. We are targeting the firms with a large Terp presence so you have a strong chance to intern at these prestigious institutions. | 2021 Spring & Summer Intern Program at EPA's Office of Air and Radiation: An Internship with Meaning Posted: 08 Dec 2020 09:12 AM PST EPA's Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) develops national programs, policies, and regulations for controlling air pollution and radiation exposure. OAR's programs include pollution prevention and energy efficiency; indoor and outdoor air quality; industrial air pollution; pollution from vehicles and engines; radon; acid rain; stratospheric ozone depletion; climate change; and radiation protection. For more information, visit epa.gov/oar. Postings open Tuesday, December 8th and close at 11:59 pm on Monday December 14th. Who May Apply:Individuals enrolled or accepted for enrollment seeking a diploma, certificate, bachelor's degree, graduate degree, or professional degree from a qualifying educational institution on a full- or half-time basis. Qualification Requirements:Pathways Interns qualify for an initial appointment based on their educational achievements. To qualify for the GS-04 level, you need to have completed two full academic years of post high school study or an associate's degree. To qualify for the GS-07 level, you need to have completed one full-year of graduate study, or an undergraduate degree with superior academic achievement.
