The Nigerian music charts publication, Turntable has ranked Davido Adeleke as the 'number 1' artist of the year 2020.

This is coming following the year's statistics from the music chart platform in which Davido topped in eight different categories.

According to the end of the year 2020 statistics, Davido is recognised as;

No. 1 Top YouTube Artiste
No. 1 Top TV Artiste
No. 1 Top Audiomack Artiste

The results according to Turntable charts makes the DMW Records' boss the number 1 artist of the year.

BBNaija Season 4 Winner, Mercy Eke Gifts Fan N150k to Support her Mother’s Burial

Winner of the 2019 BBNaija reality show, Mercy Eke has given back to one of her fans who sought support for her mother's burial arrangements.

One Chika Ann took to Twitter to shower encomium on the reality star for being a backbone in a time of need.

According to her, Mercy Eke came through for her with the sum of N150k to support preparations for her mother's burial.

In her words, "#Mercenaries i can't keep calm. Mercy supported me with 150k for the burial ceremony of my mother. Prayer warriors in mercenaries pls come out and start praying for our queen. @real_mercyeke you will never lack for rest of your life. May God continue to bless you more. #MercyEke."

Popular Nigerian rapper, Vector Tha Viper, and his beautiful girlfriend have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.

It should be recalled that last month, Vector took to the Insta story section of his official Instagram page and disclosed that he's expecting a baby with his girlfriend.

Well, the entertainer has now welcomed a newborn baby and has taken to social media to share concealed photos of the child.

Sharing a glimpse of the baby's curly hair on micro blogging platform, Twitter, the rapper wrote, "Hair product bills loading!"


For the prolific rapper, the baby girl is his second child as he already has a daughter with his previous partner.

Film maker, Akinbayo Morakinyo to debut 'Rebirth' &'Ota Kan' film in 2021

Nigerian filmmaker, Akinbayo Morakinyo is set to release two feature films, 'Rebirth' and 'Ota Kan' (One Enemy) in 2021.

The films are billed to premiere in cinemas on a yet to be confirmed date in 2021.

Shot in Nigeria, both films show off an ensemble cast, some of which include Adedimeji Lateef, Femi Adebayo, Kehinde Bankole, Broda Shaggi, Sambasa Nzeribe, Shaffy Bello, Adunni Ade, Fredrick Leonard, Kayode Peters, Yemi Sholade and Bimbo Akintola.

According to the producer, more details on the star-studded movies will be announced in the coming weeks leading to their release.

Directed by Tope Alake, 'Rebirth' explores the theme of reincarnation and the possibility of being reborn in another body. 'Rebirth' stars Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Akintola, Bimbo Oshin, Adedimeji Lateef, Kehinde Bankole, Broda Shaggi, Sambasa Nzeribe, Shaffy Bello, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Sanni Danja, Jide Kosoko , Joke Muyiwa, Bimbo Manuel, Niyi Johnson, Peter Fatomilola.

'Ota Kan', on the other hand, stars Shaffy Bello, Adunni Ade, Fredrick Leonard, Kayode Peters and Yemi Sholade.

Speaking exclusively to Pulse, producer Akinbayo Morakinyo expressed his excitement at the new movies which he reveals will be nothing like his previous productions.

Top Instagram model, Joselyn Cano dies after second surgery to lift her bum

The 29-year-old social media influencer died after suffering complications from a surgery she underwent to lift her bum for the second time.

A popular Instagram model, Joselyn Cano, who had over 12 million followers has been reported dead.

A colleague influencer, Lira Mercer, tweeted "Omg Joselyn Cano died in Colombia getting surgery. That's wild".

Joselyn who has been nicknamed Mexican Kim Kardashian is said to have died on December 7th after she travelled from her Newport Beach base in California for the body enhancement work in Colombia. The Sun reports that she went for Brazilian Butt Lift.

Family of the Instagram model who is as well known for sharing her adult content on OnlyFans, held a virtual funeral for her and it was streamed on YouTube. The ceremony happened at the Grimes-Akes Family Funeral Homes in Corona, California.


A message played during the stream on a screen reads "Joselyn entered this life on Wednesday, March 14, 1990. She entered into Eternal Life on Monday, December 07, 2020. On behalf of the Family, We Thank You for Joining us. Please Keep the Family in your Prayers. God Bless You and Your Family."

The service showed an open casket with an art of angels on either side and a photo of Cano with "Joselyn" written on the backdrop. Social media users have since been paying tribute to Joselyn with mixed reaction comments.

Commenting on her streamed funeral video on YouTube, one S.R wrote "I went to high school with Joselyn and I could tell In her Instagram pics- that she isn't happy at all. You can tell she is never satisfied with herself. I think becoming an Instagram influencer creates a mental disorder in so many of these girls. They're never satisfied with their appearance".


She continued that " they always stare at themselves in the mirror to find more flaws that aren't actually flaws at all! Joselyn was super pretty in high school, a natural beauty and so many guys at school crushed on her. She was perfect the way she was! I remember her always being happy and smiling.

"She was goofy and was always laughing too. I feel like she lost that spark once she became huge on Instagram. The sad part is so many young girls look up to these influencers. They need to stay off social media and just enjoy life. It isn't worth it. Joselyn was young, beautiful and had a daughter. May she RIP," S.R the Youtuber concluded.

Another Youtuber, Cindy Valencia, wrote "So sad but a lesson to woman to love themselves how they are. She was perfect before and after surgery but all the extra work she didn't need. This is tragic".

Cindy continued, "I know people said she went to two drs and they rejected doing work on her so she went to some illegal one. Idk if that's true but please love yourself. She promoted a vegan lifestyle and working out but was having surgery's. Regardless this Instagram generation is so toxic. Rest I'm peace beautiful".

Gomez and Ariana became an item back in March.

The music star made this known via her Instagram page on Sunday, December 20, 2020, while showing off a close-up shot of her dual-stone engagement ring

BBNaija star Ka3na was recently slammed by a follower after the reality star said she was preparing for her wedding anniversary.

Ka3na had taken to her official Instagram page to share a photo of herself wearing a lovely diamond ring. She also shared a video showing her hand holding the diamond ring.

In the caption that accompanied the post, the mother of one stated that she and her husband have a tradition of popping new rings on each anniversary.

BBNaija's Kiddwaya has revealed he has no plans for marriage at the moment because he is not yet ready to give his all to any woman.

The well-built reality star disclosed this while peaking in an exclusive interview with This Day newspaper over the weekend.

As to when he may likely be getting married, the billionaire's son simply said "God's time is the best".

In his words, "I don't think I am ready for marriage. I think I have so much to achieve and so much to do. I am not saying you can't do that with marriage, but for me, I'm not ready to give myself 110 percent to somebody else and I believe when you enter marriage you need to be willing and absolutely committed to that person. I'm not in that position right now.

"I feel it is very important for people out there to understand that: don't force yourself into marriage unless you are ready mentally. It is not by force to get married.

"A lot of people force themselves to get married when they are not ready that is when they commit adultery. One has to be ready mentally before going into such commitment.

"For me, I am not ready. I will say God's time is the best time. One day, you will wake up and you will know that it's now time to get married you will definitely know."
