Simi celebrates her 6 months old daughter, Deja with deep emotional notes

Superstar singer, Simi has penned down an emotional post to her daughter, Adejare who became 6-months-old today November 30.

The excited mother in the post she shared, expressed how birthing her daughter has made her feel in the last few months.

Simi also revealed some of her future expectations as her daughter continues growing. She wrote;

My baby. My daughter. The love of my life. This feisty little chocolate princess is 6 months old today. God is so great.

You make me giddy Adejare. You changed my life and turned my Spirit inside out. Giving you life (in collaboration with God and your daddy) gave me new life, and is the most spiritual thing I ever did in all my life. You're everything to me. I've never felt a love so complete and thorough and protective and jealous and unconditional. They tell you you're gonna love your baby so much, but you don't know how much until you love your baby.

I'm emotional because you're growing up too fast and some days I want time to freeze, so I can soak up more of these moments, but I'm also excited for you to grow up so we can have cute, silly conversations. So we can go on mommy/daughter dates. So we can have slumber parties. So you can confide in me. So we can pray together. You're everything I asked for, and then so much more. Rihanna is dating her longtime friend, rapper A$AP Rocky after months of romance rumors, according to PEOPLE.

The news comes after the pair, both 32, were spotted having dinner with friends at the Beatrice Inn in New York over the weekend.

A source told The Sun : "They shared a hotel suite during that trip in New York. However, Rihanna is reluctant to put a label on it as it's so soon after Hassan.

"They're really enjoying each other's company and taking things easy as it's still early days."

The couple has sparked romance rumors since Rihanna split from her boyfriend of three years, billionaire Hassan Jameel, in January. Then, The Sun reported that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had been seeing each other, but a source told E! that she was still single.

In July, Rihanna featured the "Everyday" rapper in her Fenty Skin campaign. The duo did several interviews together to promote the collaboration.

In videos for GQ and Vogue featuring the two, Rihanna and A$AP answered several questions including how they take care of their skin.

"My skin type is just as complicated as men are," Rihanna jokingly said when A$AP Rocky asked about her skin type for Vogue. "Y'all always try to say women are complicated [but] it's y'all!"

When Rihanna asked the rapper what his own skin is like, he answered: "Handsome."

In the GQ video, the rapper also revealed the "hardest part" about working with Rihanna.

"I think the hardest part about working with you is not goofin' off and laughing the whole time. Like this s— is comedy," he said. "That's the hardest part. You know, people be so cool it's hard not to, not to laugh. That's all. But it was fun. The hardest part is not having too much fun. You just forget that it's still work at the end of the day."

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna who have been friends for a while now, were also seen attending a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris back in 2018.

The rapper has previously dated celebrities such as Kendall Jenner in 2017 and Brazilian model Daiane Sodré last year.

Gay activist, Bisi Alimi says celebrates World AIDS Day; says he tested positive to HIV 16yrs ago

Nigerian Gay activist, Bisi Alimi is celebrating World AIDS Day 16 years after he tested positive for HIV.

In his post, he said the first four years after he was diagnosed with HIV was tough for him because of the stigma and the discrimination he faced at the time.

According to him, he's been able to overcome all of that following the support and love from the people that matter to him.

Sharing a photo of his blood sample being extracted from his arm, he wrote:

On this World AIDS Day, I want to share this again. It's has been 16yrs I tested positive for HIV. 16yrs I have been living with the virus. The first 4yrs was hard and tough for me, not because of the virus, but because of the stigma and the discrimination and shame. I look back at those 16yrs and where I am today and there is no better way to say this; the resilience and support and love of the people that matter has kept me alive, kept loving, and kept me inspired.

If you are living with HIV, please know that it is no more a death sentence and you can actually live positively with HIV.

Finally, I hope you will acknowledge and appreciate that you are all you have and this life is a gift and what others say or think about you is not your business, but theirs.

A gospel singer has been exposed after a video of him kissing a man leaked on social media.

Darrell Walls, known for singing with the Walls Group, uploaded a video of him kissing a man onto his Instagram story.

In the video, the both men can be seen smiling and laughing as they engage in conversation before they turn and kiss each other.

He used the close friends option when sharing the video, but the video ended up circulating on social media. Walls has deleted his Instagram account since the video became public but he is still active on Twitter.

Singer, Asa Finally Reveals Why She Is Not Married At 36

Asa, a sensational Nigerian-French singer, songwriter, and recording artist, has revealed the real reason she remains single and unmarried.

Born Bukola Elemide, Asa made the revelation during an interview with OAP, Bolanle Olukanni where they discussed things spanning from her personal life to her career.

According to the 36-year-old singer, she is a selfish person and thus her potential partners find it difficult to adjust to her daily schedule and her plan of things.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke has reacted to a video of 11-year-old comedienne, Emmanuella showing off the house she built for her mom.

Recall, weeks ago, Emmanuella took to her Instagram page to share photos of the house she built for her mom and Nigerians applauded her for her good work.

In an interview with BBC, the child comedian chronicled how she saved up for the house. According to her, she divided her income into four parts and used one part to build the house.

Davido, in his reaction to Emmanuella's good work, noted that it is every parent's dream for their kids to be successful.

Comedian Seyi Law has dished out a reply to investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo after she apologized to him and some other celebrities via Twitter.

Recall, in 2017, Seyi told Punch that Olunoloyo was bullying his daughter calling her obese and diabetic.

"It is obvious that Kemi has decided to bully my daughter. Bullies usually fight people who are within their age bracket and people who have the same body size as them. For her to attack my daughter only means that she is unwell," he said.

"Who bullies a young child? Never have I seen someone her age bully a child as young as my daughter who is barely a year old."

The popular comedian however has now set grudges aside after the journalist apologised and reached out to him. He shared a picture of Dr. Olunoloyo, saying they have both put their diffrences aside and let love lead.

"Dr. Kemi Omololu Olunloyo. I want to appreciate you for always reaching out to me and the family. We have had our differences and we have also put it behind us," he wrote.

"You have taught me that we can amends when we make mistakes and live beyond our pasts. Thank you for being an amazing soul."

Don Jazzy Speaks On His Bachelor Life Without Kids

Ace Nigerian music producer and record label boss, Don Jazzy, has said that contrary to many people's belief, he is happy not being married at this point in his life.

Born Michael Collins Ajere, Don Jazzy stated this during an interview with The PUNCH, while speaking on the level of fulfilment he feels.

According to him, his business is doing well and family is comfortable, so the believe that he is not happy about not being married and not having children is untrue.

The music producer noted that he is very happy currently and would only start missing children sometime in the future.

When asked if he feels fulfilled, he said;

"Pretty much, yes. I am doing well and I have a beautiful business. My family is healthy and comfortable. I know a lot of people would say because I am not married and don't have children, that means I am not happy.

"But, I am very happy (laughs). I am not missing anything. Perhaps, in the future, I would start missing little children but for now, I am actually fine. I feel fulfilled and grateful. I thank God."

Funke Akindele-Bello Recounts How She Escaped Death During Robbery Attack

Funke Akindele-Bello, a Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has recounted how she escaped death at a hotel in Lagos State nine years ago.

She made this known in an Instagram live session as she spoke about her new movie, 'Omo Ghetto: The Saga'.

Speaking in the video, she said;
 
"I have been friends with Bimbo and Eniola Badmus for a long time. Nine years ago, we were robbed while filming the second part of 'Omo Ghetto'. Eniola was meant to join me in my hotel but she refused. So, I was with Bimbo that night after begging her that I could not sleep alone. The robbers came into the hotel, which had two wings. They had robbed the first wing and one of the robbers who knew I was in the hotel started banging on my door. However, he initially couldn't break in and Bimbo lifted the bed so I could hide under it.

I was frightened but she said, 'You have to hide because nothing must happen to you'. Me, Bimbo and Joy Aiyegbeni then entered the bathroom and hid behind the shower curtain. The robber eventually broke in and asked for me. Bimbo did not say a word, then one of the robbers cocked his gun but she still did not talk. I came out and begged the robbers not to shoot. While they were punching me, Bimbo kept saying they should leave me alone. Two days after the robbery, I asked her why she didn't let the robbers know I was hiding in the bathroom. She said 'If they (robbers) want to kill, it is better we die together."

"As for Chioma Akpotha, she and Kate Henshaw would fight for you all the way. Your problem becomes theirs."

The actress also admitted that during the making of the film, she once acted very rudely to her friends when things were not going smoothly.

Akindele further said her husband and co-producer, Abdulrasheed Bello, better known as JJC Skillz then ordered her to tender her apologies to them. She added that she made nice pancakes to placate them afterwards.

After the stunt he pulled when he attended the wedding of an actor, Williams Uchemba, with six pregnant ladies last weekend, socialite and nightclub owner, Mike Nwogu, aka Pretty Mike, in a fresh interview, revealed why he stepped out with the pregnant ladies.

Although that was not the first time the socialite would cause a stir on social media, his latest stunt went viral on the Internet and attracted the attention of the international media.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Pretty Mike, claimed that his motive was to bring attention to the plight of pregnant women.

He said, "I came up with the concept because I am surrounded by ladies. Because of the publicity this incident has garnered, I am about to start a foundation for pregnant women. We are in a country that stereotypes women. No woman can get a job when she is pregnant. So, the question is, how would they survive, especially in this period when COVID-19 has sacked some husbands or partners from their jobs? Even if a woman is qualified, once the employer finds out she is pregnant, she would not be considered for the job.

"Who speaks up for them or the single ladies that are pregnant? Society, government, parents and even the church have pushed them out. To some people, this is all a joke but there are many pregnant women that do not have people to speak out for them. They have been stigmatised and many of them are depressed. Now that I have brought them out, some people are celebrating me while some are castigating me, saying it's an abomination. Since that incident, many pregnant women have reached out to me, asking for financial assistance or jobs. I was inspired to do that when a friend got pregnant and her boyfriend and family members abandoned her. When she came to see me, she disclosed how much she had struggled and I felt pained.

"As a matter of fact, one of the ladies is happily married. Her spouse has not been working since the pandemic started and she is also not working. So when I called her to follow me to the event, even her husband was happy. This act has given other pregnant ladies the confidence to reach out to me. The pregnant ladies are all my friends. They all gave their consent. However, some of them have faced backlashes."

Mike also stressed that he did not intend to take the shine off the newly wedded couple with his action. "People make a mistake when they say I took the shine off the couple. My friends that invite me to their weddings do not see it that way. They see it like I added flair to their events. For example, when you invite big artistes to perform at a wedding, it does not mean they have stolen the spotlight. I just come to give a different vibe to the event and it is not something I do for everybody. I have friends that get upset that I didn't attend or make a statement at their events. It is not easy to be creative. It takes a lot of time to get ready. Even Uchemba was not aware of the stunt I was about to pull," he said.

Singer, L.A.X Declares His Album The Best In 2020

Damilola Afolabi, known professionally as L.A.X, a Nigerian Afropop singer, has taken to Twitter to crown his new album "Zaza Vibez" as the best to drop in 2020.

The artiste who is signed to Starboy Entertainment, released Zaza Vibes which is a 12-track project, on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

The new album boasts of collaborations with Nigerian music stars; Tiwa Savage, Simi, Mr Eazi, Peruzzi, Tekno, amongst others.
 
Some of the producers who worked on the album include; Clemzy, Blaise Beatz, Quebeatz, Spotless, Legendury Beatz.

Speaking on the weight of his new baby project, L.A.X downplayed other albums dropped by his colleagues this year, by stating that his own is the best.

Don Jazzy – I’m Happy Even Without Marriage And Children

Renown music executive and producer, Michael Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, says he is indeed happy even without marriage and children.

He made this known during a chat with newsmen on Wednesday, November 26, while talking about the highlights of his career and life in a recent interview held over the weekend.

When asked if he feels fulfilled, Don Jazzy said, "Pretty much, yes. I am doing well and I have a beautiful business. My family is healthy and comfortable. I know a lot of people would say because I am not married and don't have children, that means I am not happy. But, I am very happy (laughs). I am not missing anything. Perhaps, in the future, I would start missing little children but for now, I am actually fine. I feel fulfilled and grateful. I thank God."

When asked what are the most profound lessons he has learnt over the years, he said;

"I have learnt a lot and it may not be so easy to single some out now. I have always been a patient person and I believe in striking when the time is right. That has always worked for me. Also, all the things that have happened in my life make me believe that 'a good name is better than silver or gold'. The person that came up with that saying definitely knew what they were saying. I have maintained a good name and brand, and that has always worked for me. If everybody could be like that, it would be a great world."

When the interviewer asked him which artistes he hasn't worked with but would like to, he said;

"Maybe some of the new guys in the industry that would want to work with me. I am old, so my sound could be very old and some of them might not feel like they need the older sound. However, I am here for anyone that wants to work with me."

Asked if he is planning on signing any new artiste, Don Jazzy replied;

"I love grooming artistes so I have my eyes on a lot of people in this new generation and the one that is coming. But, I'm definitely not going to tell you who they are. I always wait for the perfect time before I making my moves. I was supposed to sign two or three artistes this year but the COVID-19 pandemic slowed things down, so watch out for them next year."
