| Posted: 10 Feb 2021 01:00 AM PST  DJ Switch has kicked against the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel to hand over the Lekki toll plaza to the Lekki Concession Company LCC.The panel gave the company the go-ahead to take over the plaza today February 6. With the approval, the Lekki toll gate will begin collecting the daily charges from road users.The toll gate was closed following the gunshot incident on October 20, 2020. Reacting to the panel's decision, DJ Switch who gave a live recording from the toll gate during the gunshot incident in October 2020, kicked against the panel's decision via her Twitter handle. She wrote; "We cannot allow operations to begin at the Lekki Tollgate wen justice has not prevailed! This is wrong! I have always known 4m the start The panel trolls screamed at my absence for is a sham! @followlasg you have failed the young people of Lagos state! #EndSARS"   |

Adenike is a media personality and gratitude coach. She's an amputee and disability rights advocate."The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said the appointment of Adenike Dasola Oyetunde as the Senior Special Assistant to Mr Governor on Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs), stems from the confidence in her capabilities and demonstrated commitment to the rights and well-being of PLWDs", said the statement published on the official Instagram page of the Lagos State Government.Adenike is the founder of Amputees United which she launched early 2017 to provide support for amputees. The initiative is creating a community where amputees can hold hands with others who have the same experience and get the needed support to go through the challenges of the (new) reality. She completed her studies and bagged her law degree; she worked as an OAP with Nigerian Info Fm and is the convener of "Gratitude Jar Challenge", where people are encouraged to keep a jar where they write about life experiences they are grateful for. Adenike has shared her story so many times on different platforms to serve as an inspiration to many others.
