Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo aka Nino B, has said that he constantly reminds his daughter, Aliyah, that he is not her father.

According to him, he only plays a Guardian role in the life of her daughter, while God is her only Father who she should rely on.

Writing further, the self-styled "Makanaki" noted that because of that constant reminder, his daughter keeps God first in everything she does.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Erica Nlewedim has reacted after her Twitter fans called out Big Brother.

The disqualified BBNaija housemate bagged an endorsement recently with Kuda bank, and her fans have been trolling Biggie on Twitter for disqualifying her during the show.

They commended their fave for soaring higher despite being disqualified, and dragged Biggie to see how well Erica is doing.

She said 2baba has been dulling her lately, and she has found an "extra special" person, who she would be with this Valentine.

Popular crossdresser, Okuneye 'Bobrisky' Idris has showered encomium on a young lady who got a tattoo of his full name and his nick on her arm.

It would be recalled that the controversial male barbie treated a lady to a lavish lifestyle some weeks ago after she inked a tattoo of his face on her back.

One Kyme Oye from Abidjan, the capital of Côte d'Ivoire inked a tattoo of Bobrisky's full name on her arm.



In reaction, Bob wrote;

Evangelist Iyke Oriaku who is the founder of the End-Time Revival Altar has revealed what a man told him about Bishop Oyedepo, claiming the bishop and Pastor Ibieyiome belongs to white secret society group.

This news was posted on Evangelist Iyke Oriaku's Facebook page and was also shared by the Christian organisation 'The Urim & The Thummim'

In a conversation with an unknown man, Evangelist Iyke Oriaku said he was told that the Senior Pastor and leader of the Winners Chapel, Bishop Oyedepo belongs to a secret society called White Cult.

The unknown man conversing with Evangelist Iyke Oriaku made such claims because Bishop Oyedepo was always seen in a white suit.

However Evangelist Iyke Oriaku in a continued discussion refuted such claims made by the man and urged the church to pray.

Aisha Buhari still missing from Nigerian public, five months after

Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has continued to stay away from public appearances and perhaps out of the country since her last outing in September 2020.

Mrs. Buhari has also stopped tweeting with her last tweet dated November 25, 2020.

Before her daughter's wedding last September, the first lady of Africa's most populous nation, according to media reports, had been out of the country for a couple of months. There were claims she had relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Some have linked her continued disappearance from the public, especially accompanying her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, to Daura, to domestic squabbles in the Presidential Villa.

The last time she visited Daura with Mr. Buhari was on March 9, 2019, during the presidential election. The president was without his spouse in his most recent visits to his hometown.

The presidency has been unwilling to speak about the continued public disappearance of Mrs. Buhari.

Reached for comments, the Director of Information, Office of the First Lady, Suleiman Haruna, referred Peoples Gazette to Mrs. Buhari's special assistant on media, Aliyu Abubakar. Both aides as of press time had declined to comment on her whereabouts.

Since 2016, it became public that Mrs. Buhari was not impressed by how her husband was running the affairs of the country. In an interview with the BBC's Hausa language service, she claimed Mr. Buhari's regime had been hijacked.

"The president does not know 45 out of 50 of the people he appointed and I don't know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years," she said.

However, her husband did not take that lying down as he fired a salvo from Germany, in the presence of German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

"I don't know which party my wife belongs to. But she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room," Mr. Buhari said. The comments drew uproar on social media, with the Nigerian leader sustaining a barrage of public ridicule for several months.

Mrs. Buhari had further pointed out in the interview: "A lot of people have been coming … to tell him that things are not going the way they should," she said. "If it continues like this, I'm not going to be part of any [re-election] movement again."

She was, however, back on the campaign train for Mr. Buhari's re-election. Nevertheless, since that public outburst, the first lady has had to fight various "battles" in the Presidential Villa.

Though the first lady's office is not provided for in the Nigerian Constitution, the wife of the country's president is allowed to perform ceremonial functions on behalf of the government. In reality, though, a first lady has the ears of the president even on national issues. In the case of the Buharis, there appears to be no love lost.

In 2019, there were widespread reports that Mr. Buhari was to wed (October 11, 2019) Sadiya Farouq, the current Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

Back in the country after two months in the United Kingdom, the first lady told BBC Hausa, "The person that promised her marriage didn't know it wasn't going to happen. She didn't deny the marriage until the day passed."

Mrs. Farouq later married Sadique Abubakar, Nigeria's immediate past chief of air staff.

Months ago, Mrs. Buhari's security detail evicted the president's controversial personal assistant, Sabiu 'Tunde' Yusuf, from the villa following the latter's refusal to go on 14-day isolation after returning from Lagos.

Reports claimed that the first lady's ADC, Usman Shugaba, while attempting to arrest Mr. Yusuf fired gunshots but Mr. Yusuf escaped and passed the night at Mamman Daura's (the president's nephew). Mr. Yusuf later ordered the ADC's arrest, alongside other members of the first lady's security detail.

Mrs. Buhari had once accused Mr. Daura of trying to destabilise her matrimony.

In her claim, she said Mr. Daura used Buhari's media aide, Garba Shehu, to release a viral video in October. In the video, she asked questions and made comments about being locked out of a particular room in the villa and demanding that some people pack out.

Nigeria submits ‘The Milkmaid’ for Oscars 2021 nomination

Desmond Ovbiagele's 'The Milkmaid' has been selected by The Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee as Nigeria's submission to the International Feature Film category of the 2021 Oscars!!

Written and directed by Ovbiagele, 'The Milkmaid' is a Hausa language-based thriller on insurgency, especially as it affects women and children in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Inspired by the image on Nigeria's 10 Naira note, it tells the story of a Fulani milkmaid who confronts extremists in a rural African community, in a quest to locate her missing sister, and how efforts to recapture her disrupted past prove complicated.

Shot on location in Taraba State, North-East Nigeria, it stars popular northern Nigerian actress, Maryam Booth, alongside Ibrahim Jammal, Anthonieta Kalunta, and Gambo Usman Kona. It was also nominated for the 2020 Africa Movie Academy Awards, earning eight nominations.

The 93rd edition of the Academy Awards is scheduled to hold on April 25, 2021.

Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia has signed a modeling contract with IMG Models Worldwide.

Natalia, who only turned 18 last month, is the eldest child of late basketball legend Kobe, who tragically died in a helicopter crash last year with daughter Gianna.

The international modelling agency on Monday night announced that Natalia had joined its roster.

Sharing a headshot of the teenager on Instagram, the company wrote: "NOW REPRESENTING: #NataliaBryant! "

The caption also included a quote from Natalia, which explained how she'd always wanted to model.

#OcuppyLekkiTollgate is currently trending on Twitter as Nigerians plan another protest over the reopening of the Lekki tollgate.

This is coming after the Justice Doris Okwuobi-led Judicial panel on Saturday in Lagos state, granted permission to the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) to take over the Lekki tollgates that have been shut down since the October 20 gunshot incident.

The decision came as a shock to many Nigerians who wondered why the tollgate should be reopened as the hearing of the October 20 "Lekki massacre" is still ongoing.


DJ Switch and singer, Peter Okoye are some of the Nigerian celebrities who have openly kicked against the reopening of the tollgate.

Nigerians on Monday, February 8, using the hashtag #OccupyLekkiTollgate have expressed their readiness to stage another protest if the Lekki tollgate should be reopened on February 13 while victims of the Lekki shooting of October 20, 2020 are yet to get justice.

Kemi Olunloyo asks fans to pray for her, says 'she can't talk'
