Crime suspect tells beautiful judge 'You’re gorgeous, I just had to tell you, I love you'

A crime suspect who appeared before a court to be tried with the potential to end up in prison forgot about his fate suddenly after seeing the face of the trial judge.

The burglary suspect identified as Demetrius Lewis appeared before a court in Florida on Thursday, February 4 during a virtual hearing.

Reports say he is facing a charge of attempted burglary and possession of the drug ecstasy.

As soon as he set his eyes on the female judge who would be hearing the case involving him, the suspect could not help expressing affection towards her, although he was in handcuffs.

A video in circulation on social media shows Demetrius Lewis saying: "Judge, you [are] so gorgeous, so gorgeous judge, I just had to tell you. You're gorgeous. I love you. I love you."

He started by asking the judge "how are you doing", to which she replied "I'm good" before asking him in return how he was doing.

If not for the fact that the judge identified as Tabitha Blackmon is undoubtedly pretty, one would have said that Demetrius Lewis was just deliberately flattering her probably to court leniency but it appears he was genuinely expressing his feelings.

Unfortunately, while acknowledging the compliment with an infectious smile, the judge reminded the suspect that his flattery would hardly change anything.

"Alright, Mr. Lewis. Flattery will get you everywhere. But maybe not here," Tabitha Blackmon.


Meanwhile, in other news, if Charles Acquaah-Arhin, marketer of the Daily Graphic newspaper continues to sell the newspapers, it surely must be a personal decision because he has an option now to do something different with his life after winning a National Lottery Authority (NLA) jackpot.

Reports say he won a whopping GHc1.42 million after staking just GHc50.00.

According to Graphic.com.gh, the win also came with a unique prize of GH¢20,000, which makes it the highest jackpot break ever in the history of a jackpot in Ghana.

What makes, Acquaah-Arhin mind-blowing is the fact that he has experience in the lottery game and is unable to figure out winning numbers.

Just like many others, the winner himself could not believe he won such a colossal amount of unexpected money as a result of a paltry GH¢50 he initially thought he was just virtually throwing away especially as it was the first time he had ever engaged in such a draw.

"I think this is just a reward from God for all the lives I've touched. I believe that is how come God has decided to help me to recoup whatever I lost in 10 folds," Charles Acquaah-Arhin was quoted as having said.

A social media troll with unkempt hair took for levity the sweetness of the BBNaija reality star, Dorathy Bachor by dissing her for not being able to win in life.

It all started after the entrepreneur shared a stunning photo of herself adding that she's the hero for girls who thought they could not achieve much.

"I'm fighting for the girls who never thought they could win," she wrote.

In reaction, a troll attacked Dorathy for being unable to win not to talk of fighting the battle for others.

Davido’s PA, Isreal DMW allegedly involved in kidnapping case

Davido's logistics manager, Afeare Isreal better known as Isreal DMW has gotten involved in an alleged kidnapping case amidst the crisis with DJ Cuppy.

This is coming following a public apology from the aide to the billionaire's daughter, DJ Cuppy over intrusion in a brawl between the disc jockey and a DMW signee, Zlatan Ibile over a fair cut on a hit song made together.

In an Instastory post, Isreal DMW hinted at been accused of having hands in a kidnapping case of an individual that is yet to be revealed and neither is the full details of the alleged crime.

Davido's logistics manager had accused DJ Cuppy of not paying Zlatan for his feature in her popular music and treating him badly at her fundraising event in Abuja,

He said:

"My name is Afeare Isreal. I want to apologise to you, Cuppy Otedola for my posts about you and Zlatan's issue. I'm very sorry for the embarrassment it has caused you, your person and your family. I shouldn't have made those statements. They were false. It was actually what I heard. Please don't be offended. It won't happen again. We've been good friends for many years, including you daddy. Please don't be offended."

A few weeks after calling out DJ Cuppy over Zlatan Ibile's matter, Davido's logistics manager Isreal has now apologised after he was served court papers by the billionaire daughter's lawyers.

Isreal shared a video of himself apologising to the Gelato crooner for his interference on the issue between her and Zlatan.

According to him, his posts were false and his reactions were based on what he heard.

Ned Nwoko raises alarm over alleged plot to assassinate him

Prince Ned Nwoko has alleged that some people are plotting to assassinate him.

The former member of the House of Representatives raised the alarm at a press briefing he organised alongside his wife Regina Daniels on Thursday, Feb 11, in Abuja.

He said that the plot is connected to a piece of land in his community in Delta state in which he was setting up a university. He added that a tussle about who becomes the next king of his community is also another factor.

He explained that the issue of who becomes the next king had been settled by the elders and that the allocation of the land to him followed due process.

The politician said that the assassination plot was exposed on social media by an inmate in Kuje Prison, Abuja, who overheard two fellow prisoners discussing the plot. He said the matter had been reported to the Nigerian Police Force.


Nwoko claimed that the inmate, who was later released from the prison, received series of threat messages and died mysteriously after three weeks and an autopsy was being carried out.

He said the inmate was able to get the information on social media and the attention of his wife, Regina was drawn to it.

"I then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved. The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder."

Speaking further, he said the family of the late inmate would have been at this conference but due to fear for their lives, they refused to come.
