Tonto Dikeh buys a ₦4million worth of star for son Andre on his 5th birthday

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has disclosed that she spent over ₦4million to acquire a Star in the space as birthday present for her son, King Andre.

Andre turned five on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, and her celebrity mom went all out to make it a special and remarkable day for him.

To mark Andre's fifth birthday anniversary, Tonto Dikeh contracted a company that is into astronomy to buy one Star out of the over 400billion Stars in the space for her son.

The actress disclosed that the star was also named "King Andre Dikeh" after her son whom she had with her now divorced husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Due to so many questions from friends and fans on what it takes to buy and own a star, SHE has now revealed that although buying a star doesn't cost much, the equipment purchased in the process of Star acquisition will consume over ₦4million.

According to her, some of those equipment include; a laptop, personalized automated digital telescope (with special greeting each time it's turned ON), a virtually reality link to the room where the telescope is kept among other equipment.

She also said that for those who cannot afford to buy and own a Star, they can however pay a lesser amount and rent one.

Actress Rosy Meurer celebrates Tonto Dikeh’s son, Andre, on his 5th birthday

Nollywood actress, Rosy Meurer has celebrated fellow actress, Tonto Dikeh's son, King Andre on his fifth birthday despite strained relationship with the child's mother.

Andre turned five on Wednesday, February 17. To mark his day, his mom bought him a real STAR in the sky while his dad Churchill prayed for him.

However, despite being accused of snatching Tonto Dikeh's husband, Rosy still went ahead to celebrate her stepson on his birthday.

Rosy's husband, Churchill had taken to social media to share a photo with his son King, while he penned down heartfelt birthday message to the 5-year-old boy.

In his birthday message to King, Churchill prayed that God honours his ex-wife, Tonto, and surrounds his son with peace.

In reaction the post, Gambian-born Nigerian actress and latest Mrs. Churchill, took to the comment to also pen down birthday wishes to the birthday boy.

Her words… "Happy birthday King Andre. May you continue to grow in grace and wisdom. Good health and prosperity is your portion in Jesus name. Enjoy your day cutie".

Davido named among 100 most influential people on earth by TIME Magazine

Nigerian superstar, Davido has been named among the next 100 most influential people in the world for 2021 by America's Time Magazine.

The afrobeat legend in his reaction wrote on his social media platforms: "Proud to be included in the inaugural #TIME100Next list".

According to the magazine, the excerpt for the selection of Davido was written by Nigerian rapper and BBNaija season 5 winner, Laycon.

The excerpt reads, "Davido is one of the biggest voices in Afrobeats because his music connects with people, often in ways that transcend his expectations.

"When he released the song "FEM" in 2020, a title that loosely translates to "shut up" in Yoruba, he didn't know it would become a major #EndSARS protest anthem.

The face of popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky's alleged "billionaire" boyfriend who has been anonymous for years has finally been revealed.

For some time now, Bobrisky whose real name is Okuneye Idris, has continued to brag about a certain boyfriend of his whom he has managed to keep anonymous for a long time.

Just during the recent Valentine's Day celebration, Bobrisky showed off wads of Naira notes he received from the said boyfriend.


Nigerian gossip blog, GistLover has now alleged that one Lagos socialite with the Instagram handle @Dopeflair_McDreamy, is the much talked about boyfriend of the cross-dresser.

The blog shared screenshot of the instastory Bobrisky posted on Valentine's day that captured moment they both kissed.


Running a forensic analysis to backup their claim, the blog matched the beards of @Dopeflair_McDreamy and also shared screenshots that captured posts they both made on Valentine's day showing same gift which Bobrisky said he sent to his boyfriend.

Pretty Mike dragged to court over defamatory comments after staging valentine gift presentation

A security company has called out the popular nightclub owner, Pretty Mike for allegedly staging a valentine's gift presentation.

This is coming after Pretty Mike made defamatory comments about Eleshin Security Services after staging a gift presentation in a way that made to security firm look incompetent.

According to the lawyer representing the firm, the socialite gifted himself valentine presents in the guise of getting it from one secret admirer named Queen and then crossed the line with an arrangement with a delivery person who lost his job in the process.

Sharing a court order, the firm representative wrote;

"We have written a letter to popular Lagos socialite #prettymikeoflagos concerning his defamatory comments about our client, Eleshin Security Services Limited. The staged gift presentation was geared into making our client's look incompetent by breaching clear security protocol.

You can gift yourself a gift and say it's from the Queen, but there's a line not to be crossed. The guard concerned has explained what actually transpired on that day which I'll post shortly. He was reabsorbed after being sacked."

Kemi Olunloyo speaks on comedian Bovi's death and he replies

Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma popularly known as Bovi has reacted after controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo spoke on his death.

Kemi Olunloyo recently took to her Twitter page to share a dream she has about Bovi, and how everyone in her dream kept on saying he was dead.

She added that after she woke up, she googled his name only to find out that he is a Nigerian comedian.

Her tweets read;

Davido cousin, B-Red has revealed in a new video that he spends almost a million to cut his hair every year. He recorded a video while he was getting a cut from his barber where he made the statement.

In the video, he revealed that he cut his hair 5times a month and he pays 20k for every haircut. He also said that his barber discounts the price to 15k because he's a regular costumer.

Pretty Mike is not one who shies away from drama. The well known socialite, reacted to trending affair of Tonto Dikeh's ex-husband, Churchill and his former PA, Rosy Meurer.

On Sunday, February 14, Toyin Lawani got the perfect val gift as she got engaged to her official photographer.

In a recent development, reports have surfaced online that the said man, Segun Adebayo Druce aka Segun_wealth, who proposed to Lawani is married to someone else.

In a series of Instagram posts, Lawani has being called out and accused of stealing another woman's man.

GistLoverBlog and TunezMedia reported that Segun Adebayo Druce is a married man blessed with 2 wonderful kids and that 17th of February, 2021, will make it 6 years that he got married to his wife, Edel.

The report also claimed that Lawani is aware of the marriage between Segun and Edel as Segun has been working with Toyin for years as her official photographer.

DJ Kaywise and Phyno set to release video for, 'Highway' this week

Later this week, popular Nigerian DJ/hitmaker and Nigerian star, Phyno will release the visuals to their smash hit, 'Highway.'

Since its December 18, 2020, release the song has amassed over 1.1 million views on Nigeria's largest streaming platform, YouTube Main.

The Amapiano record, which was produced by Falz collaborator, Willis Giddem - who also produced 'Squander' and 'Talk' for Falz - has been Nigeria's No. 1 record since the turn of the year. On January 1, 2021, popular internet sensations, Sidney Talker and Caramel Plug created a viral dance video to the song and it's not looked back since then.

Delivered primarily in Phyno's native Igbo, the song has been the result of its natural resonance, apt marketing and enviable plugging by its creator.

'La Femme Anjola' opts for a theatrical and digital release in March

Mildred Okwo's anticipated crime thriller, 'La Femme Anjola' has been confirmed for a March 19, 2021 release.

The film's digital release will be on a paid platform developed specifically for the Audrey Silva Company production.

According to a press release announcing its release, the film distributed by Silverbird distribution, will also debut on a paid streaming platform. The new platform designed specifically for the film will allow for the exploration of "distribution and exhibition opportunities outside of the mainstream avenues currently existing", the press statement reads.

"The film will be distributed by, Silverbird Distribution, the company, which distributed their earlier releases The Meeting and Surulere.

In response to the prevalent realities of the film industry, La Femme Anjola will also release digitally for the rest of the world on a paid platform using assets specifically created for this."

'La Femme Anjola' starring Rita Dominic and Nonso Bassey in lead roles, follows the story of a young stockbroker whose life takes a drastic turn when he falls in love with a married singer.

A legend! Obi Asika has been at the heart of music and entertainment in Nigeria for many years and now he's bringing all that expertise to the sixth season of Nigerian Idol.

What do you call someone who has been responsible for the rise of many musicians over the past two decades?

Obi Asika is what you call a creative industry entrepreneur. He is best known for his involvement in the growth of the Nigerian music industry through his music powerhouse label, Storm 360 Records, which produced successful artistes such as Darey, Naeto C, Sasha P, General Pype, Tosin Martins and Yung6ix.

The 52-year-old is the founder of Dragon Africa, a strategic communications agency, and co-founder of Social Media Week Lagos, one of the largest new media and technology conferences in Africa.

Between 1987 and 1990, Asika organized successful concerts, charity and entertainment events at university campuses around the UK while studying at the university. Medikal cautions fans begging him for cash, says 'Begging makes you poor, go and work'

The 'Too Much Many' rapper in a video seen by pulse.com.gh appeared to be unhappy after some fans who met him in town decided to beg him for money whilst others have set a camera on him for selfies or videos with him.

Medikal turned to those begging him for money and speaking in Twi, he said: " don't be begging for money, if you keep begging for money, you that will make you a poor man".

Before moving on from the fans to enter his car, Medikal said "so stop begging and go and look for money" - which is also to say that they should go and work than just begging people for money.

The encounter in the video above happened whilst Medikal was leaving a set where he joined fast-rising Ghanaian comic-actor Ras Nene to shoot a scene for his comic skits that have been attracting wild attention online.
