Watch Inkblot's debut feature film 'The Department'

Inkblot productions have debuted their first ever feature film 'The Department' on YouTube.

Directed by Remi Vaughan-Richards, the 2015 romantic action crime feature film follows the story of a secret department in a business conglomerate specialized in blackmailing top executives into selling their companies to their leader (Jide Kosoko).

Two lovers (Majid Michel and Osas Ighodaro) however opt out of the organization, but the group wants her back for one last job. She accepts against her husband's will, who consequently decides to sabotage the Department in order to save their marriage. 'The Department' also stars O.C Ukeje, Seun Akindele, Somkele Iyamah, Kenneth Okolie and Funky Mallam.

Confirming the film's release, Chinaza Onuzo, co-founder of Inkblot said: "Not a lot of people have seen 'The Department', and we have received a number of queries about the availability of the film. So here it is, our first film for everyone who is yet to see it."

The film's release is Inkblot's gift to film lovers to celebrate Valentine's Day.

5 ways to naturally get rid of dark elbows and knees

If you want to get rid of your dark elbows and knees, read on to find out the best possible ways to go about it.

Everybody wants to have an even skin tone, especially when it comes to the knuckles, elbows and knees.

But this is not always the case…and even if, sometimes, it does happen with the body, the knuckles, elbows, and knees are usually left out.

The reason for this is because the skin around the elbows and knees are usually thicker than the skin surrounding it. Additionally, it has more folds (because of the joints) and tends to be much drier because those parts do not produce oil.

Owing to these, lack of proper hygiene can result in having darker elbows and knees. But be that has it may, studies have shown that there are natural ways to lighten dark elbows and knees.

So, if you want to get rid of your dark elbows and knees, read on to find out the best possible ways to go about it.

Here are five natural ways to lighten dark elbows and knees

1. Lemon
Lemon has bleaching and exfoliating properties, and these properties can help even skin tone. It also contains a very high amount vitamin C which can help to remove dead cells and promote the regeneration of healthy skin cell as well.

Simply apply lemon juice on elbow, knees, and knuckles; massage gently, leave it for ten min-utes and rinse with warm water. Do this for a couple of weeks to get result.

2. Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizing agent. The vitamin E which is contained in it helps lighten skin tone and also prevent skin hydration.

And for an effective result, gently massage your elbows and knees with coconut oil for three minutes, before shower. You can also mix one teaspoon of coconut oil and a half teaspoon of lemon juice, rub on your dark elbows and knees every day and wipe off with paper towels after 15 to 20 minutes.

3. Aloe vera
Known for its numerous health benefits, aloe vera is also known to be a natural skin lightener, which does not only keep the skin hydrated and moisturized, but help make the skin supple as well.

Aloe vera is also believed to promote the repair of skin cells damaged by sun exposure.

If you're using aloe vera, simply apply the gel extracted from a fleshy aloe vera leaf on the elbows and knees. And after letting it sit for about twenty minutes, you can wash it off with warm water.

It is advisable to do this twice a day in two weeks for an effective result.

. Sugar
I bet you're surprised, right? Well, it is what it is: Homemade sugar scrub is excellent for lightening the skin tone of knees and elbow because sugar help exfoliates dead skin cells and soften the skin.

When using sugar to lighten dark elbows and knees, simply mix sugar and olive oil equally and massage your knees and elbows circularly for five minutes, before shower. Continue to this until you see result.

5. Baking soda
Baking soda is another agent of skin lightener and it is also effective for rid of dark elbows and knees.

Simply mix baking soda with milk to get a thick paste, if you're using baking soda, and apply the paste on your elbows and knees and rinse after five minutes.

You can do this once a week for two months to get the desired result.

The children's book will be made into an animated musical for the US streamer.

Oscar award-winning actress, Lupita Nyong'O has confirmed that her 2019 bestselling children's book 'Sulwe' will be made into an animated musical.

Nyong'O shared the exciting news via a Twitter post shared on Thursday, February 18. "Sulwe is going to be an animated movie!! Thank you to the readers of all ages who have joined #Sulwe on her starry ride. I'm so excited for this next adventure on @Netflix".

Written by the actress and illustrated by Vashti Harrison, the book tells a profound story of a five-year-old who struggles with her self-esteem due to the colour of her skin.


It follows the story of Sulwe (meaning star), a child born with skin darker than anyone she knows. Her greatest desire is to become light skinned till she encounters a shooting star and embarks on a magical journey. The book was released on October 15, 2019.

Iyabo Ojo has released official posters for new feature film, 'Under The Carpet' ahead of its theatrical release.

To announce the film's March 12 premiere, the actress shared a risqué photo of herself, hinting she plays a very sexually appealing role. The same photo graces the official posters for the film.



The Tope Alake directed film is expected to tell an intense story portraying extreme emotions. 'Under The Carpet' stars Femi Jacobs, Deyemi Okanlawon, Tana Adelana, Moyinoluwa Olutayo and Fuji music star Pasuma among others.

Niniola set to release new EP in March

On February 18, 2021, Nigerian Afro-house queen, Niniola announced that her new EP, '6th Heaven' will drop on March 5, 2021, though one song has already been released from the EP, it's titled, 'Promise.'

On her Twitter, she wrote, "Hey Guys Here Is The Official Artwork!!! "6th Heaven" The Ep Drops On the 5th of March...Pure R&B Classics. Pre-Add, Pre-Save, Pre-Order Starts Tomorrow 19th February..."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially resign from all royal duties

The couple stepped back from official royal duties in 2020.

British royals Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have officially resigned from all royal duties.

According to a statement released by the Buckingham Palace on Friday, February 19, 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no longer serve as working members of the royal family.

"Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service," the statement read.


It also stated that the couple's honorary military appointments and royal patronages would be returned to Queen Elizabeth II to be redistributed.

"While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family," the statement concluded.

Harry and Meghan who are expecting a baby shocked the world in January 2020, when they announced that they would be stepping back as senior members of the royal family.


The couple announced the shocking news via their official Instagram page on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in 2018 at a star-studded wedding held in England.

They welcomed their first child, Archie back in 2019.

This is coming following the backlash that trailed the public announcement of the actress as the new Mrs Churchill.

In a recent video, Rosy Meurer affirmed that the accusations of having an affair with Tonto Dikeh's husband while the marriage was at the brink of collapse was a shock to her.

"Mr Churchill's failed marriage has nothing to do with me. The same way you guys read and heard online that I was the reason for his broken marriage was the same way I read and heard online that I was the reason for his broken marriage.

On claims that Churchill was like a brother to her, Rosy said;

"I did say that Mr Churchill was like a brother to me but he is not my blood. My mother didn't give birth to him. We don't share the same father.

That statement he is like a brother to me simply meant he is family. Mr Churchill has always been there for my family and I and it has always been that way."

Popular comedian, Ada Jesus is allegedly critically sick at the moment, and her friends and well wishers are calling for prayers for her recovery.

Reports gathered that the female comedian has been diagnosed with kidney problem, and photos shared online shows the comedian looking pale.

Her friend, Ella Ada, who shared the sad news on Facebook begged fans to pray for her recovery, disclosing that she has kidney problem.
