BBNaija’s Praise hints on relationship status ahead of Valentine says he's so lonely

Big Brother Naija reality star, Praise Nelson has opened up on his relationship status ahead of the celebration of the month of love, Valentine's day.

In a question and answer session on Instagram with his followers, the reality star stated that he has zero plans for the day's exchange of affection because of his current relationship status which he affirmed as single.

"Who's your valentine," a fan asked.


In response, Praise wrote, "I'm going solo on this one."

In a clearer interaction stating his relationship status, a fan asked what his plans are for February 14th.

Praise replied, "I'M SO LO-O-O-ONELY."

A Nigerian Twitter influencer, identified as @QueenYetty1_ has alleged that singer, Davido pays social media influencers to drag his fellow singer, Wizkid.

According to Yetty, the FEM crooner pays influencers on a regular basis to drag Wizkid so he can keep trending all day.

The Twitter influencer who disclosed this on the platform said she admires how Wizkid keeps minding his business even after all the drags.

In her words, "Davido pay influencers to drag Wizkid all the time so he can trend, and Wizkid the king is just there minding his business". 

As expected, her tweet has generated mixed reactions from social media users especially from fans of the 30BG leader.

Popular songwriter and guitarist, Johnny Drille has offered to collaborate on a song with the reality star, Victoria 'Vee' Adeyele.

This is coming after Vee shared a video of herself singing to a song she wrote titled, "if I was them, I'd be jealous too."

In an exchange on the microblogging platform, Twitter, the folk music singer gushed over the ex-BBnaija housemate's voice while asking for an opportunity to have a collaboration together.

"Vee we gotta make a song sometime. Your voice is too beautiful Weary face," Johnny Drille wrote in a quote to Vee's video.

Popular entertainer, Crazeclown has showered sweet words on his newborn daughter whom he refers to as baby Gia.

In a recent Instagram post, the comedian shared a daddy-daughter moment smiling and gushing at the cuteness of the charming angel.

Sharing the video, Crazeclown referred to the gift of fatherhood as the best thing to have ever happened to him.

Sensational afrobeat singer, Yemi Alade is celebrating 11 years in the Nigerian music industry and also hitting over 13 Million Instagram followers.

Yemi Alade who began doing professional music since 2005 now has about five studio albums to her name.

Taking to her page, the 'Johnny' crooner shared a beautiful throwback photo of herself to celebrate her 13Million followers milestone on Instagram.

Funke Akindele opens up on marrying JJC Skillz despite baby mama rumour

Award-winning Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has shed more light on why she chose to marry the producer, JJC Skillz despite having baby mamas.

In a recent interview with Today's Woman Magazine, Funke Akindele noted that it was a decision she made after considering her age and realizing that getting a single man at that stage is almost impossible.

In her words;

"There were rumors on set that he was being bossy. People were saying that he has three baby mamas. They now started this, ' Funke settles for less' talk. I read comments like 'three children? Baggage or why can't she just settle with someone single?' So, I decided to give myself the pep talk."

"I stood in front of the mirror and told myself, you are 39. Which of your mate is a single guy, or which one older than you is single, except he's a widower or a divorcee at 40? If he's not married, ogun aye n ba ja (he is battling with terrestrial wars).

"Abdul – is he bossy? No. you're together with him always. Abdul is forgiving and that is great! Someone has dealt with Abdul, he has forgiven the person, and he has moved on. He even invited the person on a project, can you imagine?"

"I can be very vindictive, I will give my everything but once you mess up, to correct it is a problem for me, and I'm like for this man to be like this, he's a good man. His kids are grown, and their mothers are all married, happily married, in their homes!"

"I put it in before God that if it is in thy will for me to marry Abdul, let it work, but if there will be problems, let everyone go in peace. That's what I told God, it's you and I leave it to you."

It would be recalled that the actress and her husband, JJC Skillz had their 4th wedding anniversary towards the end of the year 2020.

Recall that a few months ago, a video hit the internet that went viral. The video saw the Twitter Influencer Montara teasing a beggar on the street when she asked for money. Many people came out to condemn the act and also hurl insults at her.

Davido's brother, Adewale Adeleke has taken to Instagram to celebrate his first wedding anniversary with his wife, Ekanem Eyoita a.k.a Kani.

Adewale described her as his best friend and also expressed hope of having many more anniversaries with her.

Angelina Jolie, a popular Hollywood actress, has opened up that she is not sure if she is happy or not with her life.

The 45-year-old actress while speaking in a new interview said she's been so focused on "healing [her] family" following her split from Brad Pitt in 2016 that she hasn't had time to work on her own happiness.

She said:

"I don't know. The past few years have been pretty hard. I've been focusing on healing our family. It's slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body. But I'm not there. I'm not there yet. But I hope to be. I'm planning on it."

Since splitting from Brad, Angelina has moved into the former estate of Cecil B DeMille, where she chose to live because the property is just "five minutes away" from Brad, meaning their kids – Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12 – could be close to both parents.

She said of her move:


"I wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away. I felt a little pressure moving in. Like I had snuck into where DeMille and Chaplin would hang out. I love most that there is no entertainment room, but lots of pathways and places to walk and think. I feel very fortunate we have that at this time."

And although she may not have found true happiness just yet, the 'Maleficent' actress has said she much prefers life now that she's older, Vogue reports.

Davido To Start Bitcoin Trading Company

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido took to micro blogging platform, Twitter, to indicated interest in establishing a company dealing in Bitcoin Cryptocurrency trading.

Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday, the billionaire's son posted that he is seriously contemplating starting off a Bitcoin company.

He wrote:

This is coming at a time when many Nigerians are delving onto the bitcoin platform as the cryptocurrency continues to rise in value.

Considered by many as a market-liberation tool while critics continue to demonize it by labeling it as dangerous and volatile, bitcoins are no longer a mystery for the modern world.

Meanwhile, Cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology and are decentralized, which means a financial authority does not regulate them.

According to a recent report by Statista.com, there are over 18 million bitcoins in the world, with a global value of approximately $118 billion. During December 2017, bitcoin reached an all-time high price of $20,000 for a single bitcoin since its creation in 2009.

Rapper, Vector – How I Made Money From ‘Beef’ With MI

The 'beef' (word often used to describe disagreement between celebrities) between two of Nigeria's finest rap artistes; Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector and Jude Abaga, aka M.I Abaga, is one of the most iconic in the Nigerian music scene over the decade.

The beef which began as one line disses from various tracks by the rappers evolved to diss tracks by both heavyweights in the music industry.

In October 2019, MI released the diss track, The Viper, aimed at Vector whose pseudonym is Vector The Viper. In the same month, Vector hit back with the track, Judas the rat; as MI's real name is Jude Abaga.

Recently, there was a reconciliation between the two hip-hop head courtesy of an alcoholic brand and they have made a song together, Crown Of Clay, which will be on Vector's forthcoming album, T.E.S.L.I.M, to the delight of their fans.

Speaking about his feud with MI, Vector noted that he made money from their diss. He made this statement during a media parley as the rap artiste spoke on his forthcoming project, T.E.S.L.I.M.

"Yes I made money from the beef tracks I did for MI. The records sold. There seems to be a 'sweetness' that comes with beef records. So they were streamed a lot. We trended at number 2 in the US, both verses trended at number one on, Genius, the lyrics website. Which means that Nigerians can write what the whole world can read and understand and we will trend. So yes, there was that," he said.

He further revealed that the alcoholic brand who brokered the peace deal made monetary offers. He said, "Of course, I was paid by the brand. How would that have been? That the brand would come, offer us alcohol and record the reconciliation? No.

"There is still business going on. And that is also one of the highlights that you can share with up and coming rappers. Don't be stupid to pick a fight over growth. You must know when to stop being hard-headed as a person. A lot of brands had called to make the reconciliation happen but I guess it had to be them."

Vector stated that his beef with MI exposed some 'fake friends'.

"You will be amazed by the kind of realizations that you encounter when you speak with the person that you had beef with. You will realize the people that are with you but 'are not with you.' I saw it with him and he saw it with me. People that wanted to be relevant in the argument. People that I thought were my guys that would call him. It helped expose people that would not have been exposed if there was no beef. We understood that," the rapper said.

Commenting on his forthcoming album, T.E.S.L.I.M, he said the idea of the album name came to him while he was staring at his father's casket.

He said, "TESLIM as an album. First, I had just released the Lafiaji album and when we were gearing up to make the album, my dad died. That energy just sunk the idea. We were at the funeral home when a friend of mine whispered to another friend that he should observe my looks as I was in deep thoughts. I was staring at my dad's casket when it dawned on me, TESLIM, you are gone but your energy still remains. I took the letters to his name and it made the acronym; T.E.S.L.I.M, which stands for The Energy Still Lives In Me."

Vector said that the album would serve as an inspiration and a positive force for today's youth.

"Finding out that Teslim means peacemaker and looking at our society today, there seems to be so much negativity flying around. For example among the youths, I see a bright future but there is so much argument. On social media, there is a lot of competition. People are so keen to pull each other down because of ranks and that should not be. Competition is healthy but beyond that, there is a lot of negativity in our society with the younger generation. I felt it will be nice to have an album that will inspire us. It would be nice for us to think forward, be happy. It will be nice for music to be beyond making money but we should preach messages that will inspire hope and togetherness," the rapper said.

Recent reports have alleged that chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), MC Oluomo, is not the original author of the book which went viral.

Earlier today, a photo of a book cover bearing MC Oluomo's name and photo caused a frenzy on Twitter, as twitter users wondered how an "agbero" could write a book.

The book was titled "My Service to Humanity: A Life Changing Experience", and it had MC Oluomo's face on it.

However, moments ago, a blogger shared another photo of the book cover without MC Oluomo's face, which allegedly implies that he didn't write the book.
