Simi Speaks For Pregnant Women says, Women Can Choose Not To Cook When Pregnant

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Simisola Ogunleye, alias Simi has stated that it is okay for women to choose not to cook when pregnant.

The 'Duduke' crooner took to her Twitter page on Thursday morning to react to a tweet saying that women should not use pregnancy as an excuse to avoid cooking.

In her words:

"This take is dangerous. Some women ARE sick when they're pregnant. Some, too weak to do anything. Some pregnancies are high risk. The fact that ur pregnancy went smoothly and u could live in the kitchen doesn't mean it's okay to judge other women that can not or DO NOT want to Women deserve a break from these rubbish takes foggosake. This is why some random man will be saying, "Other women are doing it. You should too" There's no trophy for being a problem. Leave people alone."

A fan has taken to the comment section to advise Nigerian singer Folarin Falana fondly called Falz after he made a recent post about famous Nigerian crossdresser.

Barely four days ago, Falz shared a video of famous crossdresser Bobrisky jamming to his new song Squander which featured Niniola.

Reacting to that, many fans who slid to the comment the section to react expressed their deepest disappointment in him for sharing what they described as 'nonesense' on his page. Others quizzed him whether he was using his page to now promote crossdressing.

However, a fan called Lakeside who is a movie editor, graphic artist and a web developer warned him to stay away from all evil. He did so by referring to a verse from the Bible. Lakeside wrote;

A Nigerian woman, Olabisi Ekwueme has claimed that she communicates with her late sister in dreams.

According to Bisi, she was broke and had ended an abusive relationship when her sister Seun died leaving behind a daughter.

The first time she spoke to Seun in a dream, she asked her for help in securing a good job in order to take care of her niece.

Few days later, she got a call from a consultancy firm, went for an interview and got a job as an Operational Acceptance Tester with Marks and Spencer.

On life after death.
A few days ago, I did a post about how my sister, Seun's death hit me again. That day, I said 'Seun, if you can hear me, come to me in my dream. Let us have fun like when you were alive'. And I left it there. I did not dream of her that night.

I dreamt of her today. I dreamt that she planted a shrub which has now grown beauful and fragrant flowers and she and I were trimming and sha doing things to the shrub to make sure it continues to be beautiful and fragrant. I believe that shrub is her daughter, Derin.
And we laughed and joked and all.

The first time I spoke to her after she died was when I was in a bad way after she died. I was broke and broken. I had left my abusive ex and was trying to break into Software Testing from my then current role of credit risk assessment.

I said to her 'Seun, I am broke. I need a good job. I need to take care of Derin and can't do that without a good job.

I think the next day or a couple of days later, I got a call from a consultancy company. Their client, Marks and Spencer needed an Operational Acceptance Tester. They had seen my CV online and they think I was a perfect fit for the job.

I went for the interview and got the job.
That was how Seun answered me. A job I did not apply for was mine.
Maybe I should ask her for the winning lottery numbers?

Celine Dion's gender neutral clothing line for children has elicited criticisms from Nigerian celebrities as it's tagged "occultic".

Celine released a video ad back in 2018 for her clothing line, Celinununu, after she partnered with kids clothing label Nununu.


At the time, the video ad was analyzed by viewers, with people concluding that the advert is occultic and so are the clothes.

DMW signee, Tobechukwu Okoh professionally known as Peruzzi, has revealed that he learnt the art of womanizing from his boss, Davido.

The "Rum and Boogie" crooner made this disclosure on Twitter while responding to an inquisitive follower who asked if it is true that he is the best womanizer in the DMW crew.

The follower wrote;

"No para @Peruzzi I hear say na you like woman pass for DMW fam, na true?"

The "Majesty" crooner replied with a line from Davido and Mayorkun's song, 'The Best'.

Recall that Davido holds the title for now after he subtly referred to himself as the best in the visuals of the hit track.

Former WWE wrestler Gabbi Tuft has come out as a transgender woman.

The 42-year-old fitness guru, who wrestled under the ring name Tyler Reks, shared the news via a press release on Thursday, describing the journey as a 'thrilling story of gender transitioning.'

'Gabbi is about to share her thrilling story of gender transitioning from a former WWE Superstar, Body Builder, Fitness Guru, Motivational Speaker and Motorcycle Racer to a fun loving and fabulous female,' the release read.


'She has been finally set free and ready to rule her world.'

The release continues, saying: 'Despite his successes during and after his WWE career, Gabe was still wrestling with a secret persona dwelling deep within him. This is a persona he has been hiding in the loud silence of his soul since childhood," the release continues.

'Finally, with the blessing of his loving wife Priscilla, Gabe is ready to reveal who he really is. "He" is now known as "She": A beautiful, wise, witty and wonderful woman called "Gabbi.""

'This is a story that wrestling and other sports fans, friends and followers must not miss, especially many in the LGBTQ community dealing with challenging transgender issues, who Gabbi and [wife] Priscilla are willing to help,' the release goes on.


She also took to Instagram to address her new identity in a lengthy post.

Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards is almost here and the nomination list for the 2021 award show has been officially released. The event will be hosted by actor and comedian Kenan Thompson who will take kids and parents on a "wild and slimy ride".

The 2021 Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards recognises fan-favourite stars across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more. Locally, the event will air on NickToons (DStv Channel 308) on Monday, 15 March and will also repeat on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) on Wednesday, 17 March.

Justin Bieber leads the list with five nominations, followed by "Stranger Things" with four nominations, while Ariana Grande, "The Croods: A New Age", "Henry Danger", "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series", "Soul", "Trolls World Tour" and "Wonder Woman 1984", all tied with three nominations each.

Elsa Majimbo, Bonang Matheba, Ikorodu Bois, Emmanuella, Wiam Van den Berg and Ghetto Kids also received nominations in the 'Favourite African Social Media Star' category, while Master KG got nominated in the 'Favourite Global Music Star' category.

Singer Waconzy has got Nigerians talking on social media after a recent post he made on his Instagram page.

Waconzy said he had a dream on Wednesday, February 3, about the rapture. According to him, the dream was so real.

Rapture is a belief held by Christians that all true believers who are alive, along with resurrected believers, will rise in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.

The singer then encouraged his fans and followers to prepare for the coming of Christ.

He stated that the coronavirus pandemic is being used to usher in the rise of the Luciferians.

Using a bible story as his reference, Waconzy said Noah didn't convince anybody before building the ark.

A popular Instagram blogger has alleged that the superstar singer, Davido is investing a lot to get his ex, Davina back at the detriment of his baby mama, Chioma.

In a lengthy note by @cutie_julls, Davido is still in love with his South African based ex whom he sneaks off to every now and then while Chioma Rowland is in his Lekki apartment cooking for his friends.

"Davina and Davido were seriously into eachother then. I am confirming to you that he was with this lady even the weekend before Chioma's Mega Assurance birthday that yr.
When the whole assurance thing went viral, Davina was broken and contacted David.

David codedly flew to SA few days after and begged Davina for forgiveness and explain to Davina how important the whole Chioma relationship was important for him at the time in his life etc. David gave Davina very good money as a compensation for betraying their love as Davina didn't want to stay in Chioma's shadows. Davina used some of the money gave her to buy herself a nice simple car and also used some to persue a course in optician.

Today, she works in one of the biggest eye hospitals in Sandton, SA. She is a Congolese born tho but she lives in SA. She also got invested some of her money in her own makeup line.

Now Hunku wants his woman back but I'm reliably informed girl is seriously hooked and there's no chance for David.

Hmm, David obviously wants her back cuz she's doing very well for herself from the money he gave her. Despite her humble begining, she is now her own bosschic and more.


Chioma is still cooking for David and his friends. She's living in Lekki "4 the safety of Ifeanyi" but she goes to Banana Island when it's time to cook on large scale for David and his 30b geng.

On days she's only cooking for David alone, he goes to their Lekki home to have his meals

Call it hate but I repeat, the best gift u can give to urself as a woman is to empower urself in ur career, education etc.

We all love Chioma and I pray she shines her eyes. A word to the wise

Most of the ppl hailing her do so to their own advantage just to ve access to David. I know what I'm saying. I see through them.
