| Mysterious Rock Discovered On Thailand Beach Posted: 17 Mar 2021 10:02 PM PDT On 22 February 2021, Mantana Dao Pibul found the unusual mineral rock during a vacation on the beach which located in the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand She picked the rock as a souvenir and take it home because at first she thought it was only a broken piece of coral. Strangely, after she checking it real close, the rock seemed to reflect sunlight, glowing with a bright red color. The mineral rock appeared to be partly covered by normal, dark rock, but most of it crystal-like red.
She suspected maybe it was some kind of meteorite, after she inspected it further by using her smartphone flashlight directly inside it and the red color became more intense. That day, when she arrived at home, Mantana claimed the mysterious rock had changed from a bright red to a purplish color during the daytime. Because she was very curious about her unusual discovery, she asked her friends immediately if they knew what that strange object was but unfortunately no one knew what it was. Mantana said she is still waiting for mineral experts to examine the rock to find out if it was a meteorite or something more valuable. She hopes an expert might be able to tell her what she found during her walk on the beach, because it looked so special so it must be valuable. Sources:  |
