Do or Die entertainment launched in Nigeria on Saturday, 13th of February, 2021 amid fanfare and coziness at their office at Empire Homes, Chevron Lekki, Lagos.

The CEO explained that the record label is open to signing new artistes who are ready and willing to work with the record label.

The event had in attendance the CEO, Ruth Adjaloko Danmola who is an American based Ghanaian, the new signee Adewale Muees Odekoya, popularly known as 'Da Great and the in-house producer, Samuel Nzube, better known as 'Dex Star', spiced up by notable media presence.

At the event, the essence and meaning behind the name was explained "If you don't work towards a dream, no matter what it is, then it dies" Ruth said when she was asked why the name.

The CEO explained that the record label is open to signing new artistes who are ready and willing to work with the record label.

She also expatiated that the organization is not only looking to work in the music industry, they also intend to produce movies in the near future.

The event had in attendance some industry experts like Excel, who was recently appointed the Head of Content Acquisition at Boomplay Nigeria, Lanre Lawal, Brymo's manager and Bode Blaq.

However, the record label only has one artiste they are working with currently who has just released a single titled Canopy.

Kahren releases new single, 'Peekaboo'

Karen Chisom Anyanwu known professionally as Kahren is Nigerian Afro-fusion singer/songwriter. Born into a catholic family, in Lagos State, Nigeria. Kahren fell in love with music and its power to lift spirits at an early age. She started writing songs in secondary school.

By 2019, she began songwriting professionally and released her debut single titled "Remember" produced by Jinmi Abduls in 2020. She draws her inspiration from the likes of Jorja Smith, Jhene Aiko, and Wande Coal.

A father has surprised his son with an incredible piece of art by making him a replica of the luxury Bugatti car with wood and scraps.

According to a video shared by Supercar Blondie, the Vietnamese man crafted a replica of the supersport car under 40 days for his dear son.

The car, however, is not just a toy as it is fully motorized and works just fine like a regular vehicle with a detailed design like the real Bugatti car.





The car is powered by two batteries, weighs about 350kg and is said to be made entirely out of oak wood.

Yemi Alade hints fans about her plan of going into agribusiness

Nigerian musician, Yemi Eberechi Alade, who is popuarly known as Yemi Alade hinted her fans about her plan of going into agro business soon.

She made this known in her verified Twitter page. She tweeted: "Agriculture on my mind"

In reaction to the tweet she made, her fans supported her decision of venturing into agrobusiness


Last month, Yemi Alade celebrated her 11th year in the Nigerian music industry and also hitting over 13 million followers on Instagram. Ever since she started her music career in 2005, she now has about five studio albums to her credit.

Social media has continued to buzz with several reactions after the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi made a public appearance with his latest wife, Chioma.

Apart from Chioma being the 13th wife of the 83-year-old monarch, she is also from the eastern part of Nigeria, which raised several questions.

However, a new report has emerged the social media alleging that Chioma Nwadike-Stanley has been married to an Igbo man.

Some photos shared online show when Chioma is engaged by the alleged previous husband and another where they were seen all loved up.

According to reports, it is uncertain whether the marriage was dissolved before proceeding to marry her new husband, Alaafin of Oyo.

‘Fani-Kayode can share my $ex tapes if truly I cheated’ – Ex-wife, Chinwendu dares former minister

A former beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu, and her estranged wife of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has hit back again at her former husband.

She said he could share the videos of her alleged infidelity in marriage after seven years which he claimed he had.

Chikwendu, in a release she personally signed on Thursday, noted that she had never had an extra-marital affair and on the contrary, Fani-Kayode "brought strange women into our matrimonial home at the slightest opportunity."

Last Friday, Chikwendu had also explained before a FCT High Court in Apo, Abuja, that Fani-Kayode, her ex-husband beat her up on several occasions even while she was pregnant.

She had, therefore, demanded full custody of their four sons, aged five and three.

But Fani-Kayode had fired back the following day in a release by his aide, saying Ckiwendu had mental issues and once cut two people with knives while trying to kill him and their four children.

In a release through his media consultant, Oladimeji Olaiya, the following day, Fani-Kayode noted that he had video evidence of Chikwendu's infidelity.

"Chikwendu's only pastime was to post pictures and words on Instagram and sleep with men outside. She also tried to seduce a number of Chief Fani-Kayode's friends when he was in detention and extort money from them.

"On one occasion, she cut two people with a knife and almost bit off the finger of a third when she was trying to attack and kill her own children and husband with two knives. Thirty people witnessed this and we have it on video," the release had partly stated.

Speaking on Thursday, the 2014 Miss United Nations said her choice of Fani-Kayode for marriage was based on "empathy and naivety."

She said, "However, I cannot help but wonder if all these frivolous claims of my indecent lifestyle as portrayed by FFK is not an indictment of his insecure mind. You cannot have a harlot for a wife and showcase her to the world almost every day with the best captions and poetry to go with it if she is not a fantastic soul.

"Except of course, he hides the demonic atrocities he committed while trying to appear as an excellent husband. The FFK I lived with will have the said videos shared if any infidelity claims are distantly valid for almost seven years of marriage.

"My years with FFK were completely shrouded; I walked around with at least four police officers and three bodyguards. Friends avoided me even in church as I had a heavy security presence even during offerings and thanksgiving. He perceived every schoolmate, ex, cousin, or male voice as a potential lover over the phone.

"I have never had an extramarital affair as dubiously alleged. On the contrary, FFK brought strange women into our matrimonial home at the slightest opportunity.

"After two heartbreaks, I made one wrong decision, believing that an older man will love and make me happy. All I did was love FFK, fight for him and gave him sons he never had. I did everything for him – I was his barber, editor, nurse (before and after he had his presumed COVID 19), chef, image-maker, and stylist without limit.

"Physical and verbal abuse was what I got for all these sacrifices; lies, all sorts of inhumane treatment and now attempting to keep my tender age children away from their mother."

She added that although she had been labelled as running after Fani-Kayode's money, the former minister was financially broke when they met in 2014.

"When I met Femi in 2014, he already had his bank accounts frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and they remain frozen to date. He opened another bank account when he joined the Goodluck Jonathan campaign team in 2015.

"The present government initiated an investigation based on the campaign funds source. And his campaign account was frozen again. Common sense can show that he may have been financially constrained while I was with him," Chikwendu said.

Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, recently took to social media via her Instagram page and reacted to the sudden death of Cash Nation boss, Kashy Godson.

Recall, that Kashy died in the early hours of Sunday, March 7, in Ghana. Several tractions have continued to trail his death as unconfirmed reports claim he committed suicide.

While some alleged he jumped from his house balcony after battling depression for a long time, others alleged he was pushed off the building by someone he had a business transaction with.

Reacting to this, Nkechi wrote on Instagram;

General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International Apostle Johnson Suleman has refuted claims that he owns three private jets.

Apostle Suleman took to social media to share a photo of Archbishop Benson Idahosa to celebrate him on the anniversary of his death.

A fan slid under his post and asked that would the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa have bought three private jets if he were to be alive.

The fan wrote: "You think he would've owned 3 private jets?"

Alaafin of Oyo makes first public appearance with latest wife Olori Chioma

There is a new queen in the Oyo kingdom and this time, it's a beautiful lady from the east identified as Olori Chioma.

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, stepped out with his young queen, making their first public appearance together at the installation of real estate mogul, Tomori Williams, as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland.

According to a Twitter account, @OyoNews1, rumours suggest the new queen was married into the royal family in 2020.

"During the ceremony, K1d ultimate mentioned Olori Chioma Adeyemi while singing praises of the monarch's wives. Though many are not sure when Kabiyesi married Olori Chioma Adeyemi, but rumours have it that it was last year," their post reads.

Skiibii shows off N1.3M receipt spent on food at a restaurant

Popular singer, Skiibii has shown off the receipt of about N1.3 million on food at a restaurant in Lagos state.

The singer fondly called swaggerly of Africa, revealed the lavish amount spent on food on his Insta-story.

The meal, however, is a typical jollof rice, with turkey and fried dodo which amounted to the sum of $3,300 (a rough estimated of about 1.3 million Nigerian currency).

The cost of the meal looks a bit outrageous as a spoon of Jollof rice is estimated to cost N190,000 which makes the bill a bit questionable.

Sharing the photo, Skiibii wrote "$3,300 for food Daz how star eat."

Record label owner, Kashy Godson buried in Ghana

While crucial investigation is going on to piece together what led to the death of Record label owner, Kashy Godson, the family of the deceased has laid his remains to rest in Ghana.

According to the reports, the late founder of Cash Nation Records, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

While some allege he jumped from his house balcony after battling depression for a long time, others alleged he was pushed off the building by someone he had a business transaction with.

Kashy would have turned 27 today, March 12.

According to the reports, Kashy Godson died on Sunday, March 7, 2021 after falling from a balcony in his residence. The details surrounding his death is sill foggy but investigations are ongoing.

Teebillz Kicks Against California Bill That Seeks To Ban Departmental Stores From Dividing Toys By Gender

Following the new bill in California, USA, which seeks to ban large departmental stores from dividing childcare items and toys by gender, Music executive, Teebillz has reacted.

Teebillz  took to his Instagram page to express his dismissal over the new bill which he described as 'nonsense', that is being shoved down people's throats.

The bill is seeking such stores to be gender-neutral and remove gender expectations where girls are expected to like dolls and makeup and boys are to like trains and superheroes. One of the co-sponsors of the bill, Evan Low, said an 8-year-old girl named Britten inspired him to write the proposal. Low said in a statement that Britten didn't understand why a store was telling her which toys were meant for boys and which were for girls.

Low's bill is the most recent example of efforts in the US to eliminate gender labels from toy marketing as some researchers insist that gender-specific toys can stunt a child's emotional and psychological growth.

Reacting via his Instastories, Teebillz said he doesn't discriminate against anyone but no one should shove "this nonsense" down people's throats. According to him, his children will identify as boys and girls and that his son will never play with dolls

Dr.Dre’s Estranged Wife Denied Restraining Order Against Him Over His Song That Made Her Fear For Safety

Nicole Young, the embattled ex wife of Dr.Dre, has reportedly been denied a restraining order against the music mogul after she requested an emergency domestic violence restraining order against her ex, for releasing a song last month in which he referred to her as a 'greedy b*tch' and a 'perjurer', according to TMZ.

She claimed that after Dr. Dre slammed her by calling her 'greedy' in the song, she became afraid for her life amid their ongoing divorce.

Young further said that 'he has upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else.'

In the snippet, the hip-pop mogul referenced his recent stay at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering a brain aneurysm and his wife's monetary demands in their ongoing divorce proceedings.

'(B*tch) Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury, I see you trying to f*ck me while I'm in surgery/In ICU, death bed, on some money sh*t,' read the lyrics.

'Greedy b*tch, take a pick, girl you know how money get… You know we don't tolerate that nonsense, by any means get your hand up out my pocket/This life is private just like the pilot, it's been decided, this the Poseidon.'

Despite Young believing the new song and her previous allegations of spousal support warranted the order, the judge ultimately denied her request to grant her a restraining order against the music mogul due to 'insufficient evidence.'

Responding to her allegations, Dre insisted the only time he had seen Young since the divorce filing was when she visited him in the hospital following his brain aneurysm in January 2021.

Dre also insisted that he has had no contact with her, and has denied all her allegations of abuse.
 
In October 2020, Dre accused his wife of criminal conduct in 'embezzling' more than $350,000 from one of their bank accounts after she filed for divorce in June last year,

In January 2021, Dre agreed to pay Nicole $2 million in temporal spousal support while he was still at the hospital recovering following his hospitalization for a brain aneurysm.

Before then, he had also been paying Nicole $293,000 a month in support, but she is asking the court to force him to pay her almost $2million a month, plus another $5million for attorney fees.

Dre and Young have two children together, daughter Truly, 20, and 24-year-old son Truice.

The American actress who shared a photo of her baby bump, opened up about suffering 2 miscarriages and how emotional it is to finally be expecting her "Baby King".

I really can't begin to express the fullness of our immense joy to be welcoming a baby into our family. With that I also want to express that this beautiful journey has not been devoid of heartbreak.
This is my beautiful little rainbow baby.

I've been so deeply moved by the women who have openly shared their miscarriages. It brought me solace in a time that was incredibly painful to know I wasn't alone. To understand that this experience is common, horrible but still common.

I suffered two miscarriages and even now trying to capture what it felt like in words is simply absurd to me because I will never have language enough for it.

At first I wasn't sure about sharing my experience because I felt like so many other people had way worse experiences than I did, but I realized that I can't treat pain like an Olympic sport, as if it's a competition and only those who have the worst stories win the right to talk about it. No matter the size of it in your mind, pain is pain and loss is loss, whatever the degree. And once you are touched by it, it stays with you forever.

And I won't lie, it's been hard to not carry my fear with me throughout this pregnancy. To believe that it's real and that this baby will be okay. That this beautiful gift will remain. But I try to not ignore the facts, and the facts are that I am healthy and my baby is healthy, my baby is growing and now kicking and constantly reminding me of their very real presence within me.

I really just want to say that if you've gone through this or are going through this, you don't have to carry the weight of it alone. And for some
( I won't attempt to speak for everyone) it can be freeing.

So I take this piece of freedom and I hope for someone else it allows them to feel a little less alone.

Popular brand influencer, Tacha Akide is celebrating a milestone as she hits a whopping 1 million followers on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

This indeed is a big win for fans of the 2019 disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate as she's the first of her kind to gather that much fanbase on Twitter.

Taking to Twitter to celebrate the feet, Tacha exclaimed "1 F*CKING MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


As congratulatory messages rushed in, so did criticism of how the reality star 'make noise' about anything and everything that isn't worthy of attention.
