Pastor Idahosa Apologizes To Pete Edochie over previous Rape Comment

Clergywoman, Laurie Idahosa, has apologised to veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie after she called him out saying that his mother was a victim of rape and a child bride.

Recall that Pete 'Ebubedike' as he is fondly called in an interview said his 40 years old father at the time married his mother when she was just 15 year old.

Pete said;

""My mother was not educated. She was not in love with my father. My father was almost 40 when his uncle told him it was time he got married. He told them to get a wife for him.

My uncle went out to a neighboring village and told them the teacher wanted to get married. The women came out. He looked around and picked one and that was it.

He brought this 15-year-old who didn't have the courage to look at my father. She gave him ten children and was still shy. Seven boys and three girls".

Reacting to the interview, Mrs Idahosa, the pastor said that Pete's mother was a product of rape, said that Pete's mother was afraid of her life.

" How can he laugh about her being "shy?"
Oga, she was not shy. She was a victim of rape and was a child bride. She wasn't respectful of his age, she was afraid for her life. Know the difference and adjust this story… start telling the truth!"

Meanwhile, the Clergywoman has now apologised for her comment following the backslash she received on her Instagram comment section.

Days after rumored break up, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez  were pictured kissing on a balcony in their hotel suite in the Dominican Republic where Jlo is filming.

Recall that several reports last week hit the net that Jlo and A-Rod who have delayed their wedding twice, had broken up after 4 years together.

However, the 51-year-old singer and the 45-year-old former Yankees baseball player denied report of calling off their engagement and going their separate ways.


The couple said this in a joint statement they released on Saturday March 13, stressing that they are "working through some things." They also described the report as "inaccurate".

The pair, who both started dating in 2017 after meeting a decade prior when she was married to Marc Anthony, got engaged in 2019 on the beach when he surprised her with a large diamond ring.

24-Year-Old Lady Accuses Hollywood Actor Armie Hammer Of Rape

A woman who formerly dated Armie Hammer is accusing the star of ongoing abuse, including rape.

In a virtual press conference organized by her attorney, Gloria Allred, the 24-year-old woman identified as Effie Angelova claimed that Hammer "abused me mentally, emotionally, and sexually."

Effie went on to describe an alleged incident on April 24, 2017, when she claimed Hammer "violently raped her for over four hours in Los Angeles, during which he repeatedly slammed her head against a wall, bruising my face."

Effie further claimed she "tried to get away but he wouldn't let her" during the 2017 incident.

"I thought that he was going to kill me," she said.

Effie said she met Hammer over Facebook in 2016 when she was 20 years old, and said their "relationship progressed rapidly."

"He would often test my devotion to him, slyly removing and crossing my boundaries, as he became increasingly more violent," Effie said.

Effie said that after the alleged 2017 incident, she "lived in fear" of him.

"For a long time, I tried to dismiss his actions towards me as a twisted form of love," she continued.

Effie said she stayed in touch with Hammer through 2020. She additionally described bouts of crying, night terrors, and flashbacks that "were so excruciating, they made me feel there was no way out but to take her own life."

Effie's lawyer, Allred, said that her client "does have evidence which she believes supports her serious allegations," and confirmed Effie gave the evidence to police.

However, Hammer has denied the claims.

Hammer's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, referred to the claims as "outrageous allegations".

Brettler said in a statement thats "all of" Hammer's interactions with Effie, "have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory."

Forbes Disputes Kanye West’s $6.6 Billion Net Worth

Despite recent claims that Kanye West is reportedly the richest Black person in the history of America, Forbes has officially refuted the media-given title to the famed rapper and fashion designer.

Forbes published an article claiming that recent "reports that the celebrity is worth nearly $7 billion are based on the magical thinking around sales that don't exist yet. This is why he's currently worth less than one-third of that." The publication presented its own calculations, stating that West is only worth around $1.8 billion USD. Forbes' numbers solidify Vista Equity's Robert F. Smith as the richest Black person in the U.S., with an estimated net worth of $6 billion USD. On the other hand, Aliko Dangote of Nigeria remains the richest Black person in the world with $11.8 billion USD in net worth. The news comes just a day after Bloomberg reported Ye's $6.6 billion USD net worth.

Forbes also said that the UBS report cited in most articles was based on the assumption of future expectations. Since Yeezy Gap has not yet launched nor received any current revenues or profits, the numbers are, therefore, false. Forbes gives a more realistic breakdown of what they believe West's estimated net worth should be.

According to the publication, the Yeezy brand is worth approximately $1.5 billion USD. West is expected to have earned $191 million USD in royalties last year on his decade-long production deal with adidas. As for the income from Yeezy, West earned $214 million USD in 2020 from the brand he wholly-owns. Over time, West has also accumulated $160 million USD in assets, including "$9.3 million USD in artwork, $7.6 million worth of jewelry, $5 million worth of vehicles, $3.4 million worth of furniture and $1 million worth of livestock." Ye's music catalog rakes in an estimated $90 million USD for the rap mogul, while his investment into soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian's Skims brand pulls in $64 million USD.

Kanye West has yet to respond to the net worth reports.

Kanye West’s Net Worth Soars To $6.6 Billion – He Is Now The Richest Black Person In US History

Kanye West has become the richest Black man in U.S. history, as it's revealed he's now worth a whopping $6.6 billion.

The 43-year-old's worth is led by his Yeezy line which is now in partnership with Adidas AG and Gap Inc, with the business valued between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming collaboration between Yeezy and Gap – which is set to hit stores this summer "could be worth as much as $970 million of that total" with additional income coming from his music catalog, cash, stocks and business investments such as estranged wife Kim Kardashian's SKIMS underwear brand.

As well as having $1.7 billion in other assets, 'Ye has $110 million from his music catalogue and $122 million in cash.

West currently has full ownership and creative control of the Yeezy brand by himself after he previously signed a 10-year agreement to design and sell clothes under the Yeezy Gap label last year, Bloomberg adds.

Citing the document obtained by their outlet, Bloomberg noted that the new Gap line is expected "to break $150 million in sales in its first full year in 2022."

News of Kanye's worth comes days after his 22nd Grammy win for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his LP Jesus Is King.

It also comes amid his split with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce last month. The couple share four children: daughters North, 7½, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who will turn 2 in May.

According to N6, if as a man, your lady struggles and battles to pay her bills, N6 advised men never to sit back and watch that happen, but when it seems things are not working out, the Cool Fm personality advised such a man to leave his relationship and search for a rich babe instead.

Kanye West Becomes Richest Black Man In U.S

Music producer, rapper, and fashion mogul Kanye West is the richest African American in the United States. Bloomberg reports that West is officially worth $6.6 billion, making him the richest Black man in America's history.

Around the same time last year, West became a certified billionaire with the help of his successful apparel and sneaker brand, Yeezy and a new multi-year contract with Gap (NYSE: GPS +1.64%).

According to Business of Fashion, the Yeezy brand is valued at $3.2 to $4.7 billion. As for the new Yeezy Gap line which is set to be released later this summer, the new venture is expected to be worth more than $970 million.
Since West remains the sole owner of the Yeezy company, much of his personal net worth is attributed to his recent business decisions and the $1.7 billion that he pockets from additional assets, including his significant investment into his soon-to-be ex-wife's Skims label.

An unaudited balance sheet of West's finances has also revealed that West has $122 million in cash and stock, while his entire music catalogue is worth $110.5 million.


The Yeezy brand has seen a large boom despite the economic downturn caused by the pandemic. West's sneaker sales at Adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -0.87%) have seen an uptick of 31 per cent from last year, bringing in $1.7 billion in annual revenue. By the end of 2021, the Yeezy designer is expected to rake in $150 million from its Gap partnership.

Considering the rapper claimed to have been $53 million in debt less than half a decade ago, his feat is worth the recognition. However, it still remains a mystery as to how West's billion-dollar company was eligible for a loan of $2 to $5 million under the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program.

‘Davido – I Have Two Albums Already Made’

Nigerian afro-fusion singer, Davido, said he has two studio albums ready for release.

Davido dropped his latest album, 'A Better Time', in November 2020. Barely six months after its release, the singer confirmed he already recorded two compilations and waiting for the right time to release them.

Davido made this revelation in an interview session on ionwannatalk, where he also said he starred as a taxi driver in another Hollywood movie directed by Edward Zick of 'Blood Diamonds'.

In his words; "Luckily for me, a lot of hits came out of 'A Better Time' (ABT). The first video I shot on ABT was me and Chris Brown. I've noticed that, with music, you have to plan, especially when you're releasing an album. We're in an industry where you have hit after hit.

"After you drop this, they want you to drop that. With me right now, I have two albums already made. I have movies coming out, so I think I want to chill. I have another movie that I'm doing with the dude that shot Blood Diamonds. I play a taxi driver."

The pop star explained how he has been maintaining his cool despite his stardom and his popularity worldwide.

"Everywhere you go, people know you are. Over the year, I've learned the art of not letting it get to me. It's a mental thing. I will be like there are people bigger than me. It's something that every artiste has to teach themselves.

"It affects you in a certain way. Sometimes I feel like things are going so fast. You look at how I've lived, and my relationship with people. I blew up at 16 17. I haven't grown up in my adult years with regular people. When I'm looking at life, it's different", he stated.

Davido recently featured in the sequel of 'Coming 2 America', as an artiste performing to guests at a wedding scene in the Eddie Murphy-produced film.

Davido speaks on sour friendship with Wizkid says they use to be good friends

DMW Record's boss, Davido Adeleke opens up on his friendship with Grammy Award-winner, Wizkid before it went sour.

In a recent interview on the Ionwannatalk podcast, Davido opened up about a number of issues including the Starboy Wizzy.

According to O.B.O, fans played a huge role in the dissolution of their friendship while weighing their career and talent with one another for their own entertainment.

Davido added that he has not done a song together with Wizkid in 10 years. He attributed that to them not being in the same place mentally.
