Police arrest over 200 at Cubana Night Club for violation of COVID-19 protocols

No fewer than 200 clubgoers and workers were arrested at popular Cubana Night Club in Lagos for an alleged breach of COVID19 protocols on Saturday, February 27.

Detectives attached to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Monitoring Team stormed the club in the early hours of Saturday to make the arrest after receiving a tipoff that a large crowd gathered at the club house.

Confirming the arrests, the spokesman of the Lagos state police command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the IGP Monitoring unit will soon hand the arrested persons to the command where they will be paraded by the state Commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu.

Erica Nlewedim Features in New Action Movie Alongside Linda Osifo

Popular reality star, Erica Nlewedim has made it to the screens as she features a new action movie titled, Devil in Agbada.

The disqualified housemate of the 2020 BBNaija reality show who is passionate about the acting career performed in a lead role alongside already known actress, Linda Osifo, and Efe Irele.

On-air personality, Toke Makinwa in a recent tweet has asserted that she must attain billionaire status before she turns 40.

Toke Makinwa, with much optimism and determination has challenged herself to be a billionaire before the age of 40.

Speaking further, Toke Makinwa guaranteed herself that her works will gain global recognition and the world will surely tell her success story, all these, she said she will achieve before clocking 40.

Popular brand influencer, Nengi Rebecca Hampson has got people talking after sharing a throwback photo of herself at the age of 10.

This is coming after the reality star was dragged for sharing a throwback photo of herself at age 12 which internet users attacked her for lying about the age.

Sharing another photo that she claimed to have taken at the age of 10, Nengi wrote;

"10 yo me.. was such a tomboy 🙈😂😂."


This is however followed by accusations that the reality star is indeed lying about her age despite being obvious that she is way above the age of 10 in the photo.

“Burna Boy confronted Obafemi Martins, asked him to prostrate” – Blogger reveals cause of fight

Popular blogger has alleged that the international music star, Burna Boy attacked professional footballer, Obafemi Martins at a club.

This is coming following an outburst on Twitter by a well-known rapper, CDQ, who called out the African Giant for stepping bounds with the footballer.

According to Instagram blogger, Cutie Juls, Burna Boy and his men confronted Obafemi Martins at a Lagos club, Quilox, where he was asked to prostrate for one of the boys of the Grammy nominee.

This however escalated quickly as Obagoal allegedly slapped Burna Boy for telling him to keep his voice down and not make noise.

Popular music producer, Ayorinde Faboro, better known as Dokta Frabz (Dr Frabz) has died after being allegedly shot multiple times by unknown gunmen.

According to reports, the music producer was targeted by unknown individuals bearing guns in the US where he had lived in the last few years.

This is indeed a painful report to the entertainment industry as celebrities took to social media platforms to mourn differently.

Nikki Laoye took to Twitter to write;

"Oh my God…My dear brother, Dr Frabz @DoktaFrabz.. This is such terrible news. Just heard that he was shot… Who did this? I am so pained Right now.. What kind of news is this ehn?"

Controversial Instagram blogger, Cutie_Julls has alleged that singer Davido's third baby mama, Chioma Rowland has lost her engagement ring barely two years after Davido gave it to her.

Cutie Julls did not give much details about this development, but she revealed that the mother of one lost the original engagement ring and promised to give full gist on how this happened.

She also alleged Chioma does not like it anytime, Davido pays Imade a visit as Sophia will be present during his visit.

Taking to her Instagram page, Cutie wrote;

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's divorce papers revealed the real reason the famous couple split, shocking fans and Hollywood alike.

The Sun exclusively revealed on Friday that the couple's marriage ended when they had a huge blowout fight about where to go for vacation during the summer.

In the court documents obtained by The Sun, Kim cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason why she was ending her marriage to the rapper.

The papers further confirmed that Kim, 40, is seeking joint physical legal custody of their four children: North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one.

The divorce papers also revealed that the SKIMS founder has also requested that the ability to award spousal support by either herself or Kanye be terminated.

According to the insider, a prenup is already arranged to handle the pair's massive $2BILLION fortune and neither party is contesting the agreement.

It was added they've made it so far along in the legal proceedings, the couple is in the stages of reaching a property settlement agreement.

According to Forbes, the TV personality turned business owner is estimated to be worth around $900million.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning artist has a reported net worth of over $1.2BILLION due to his music and design career.

Following the news, a source revealed to The Sun that Kanye had been telling his friends that Kim was "bluffing" with their divorce, which infuriated the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

A source alleged to The Sun: "Kim had visited the idea of divorce so many times that she already had the paperwork drawn-up and ready to go, when she finally actually filed.

"The move came as a bit of a surprise to her family because they know how much she loves Kanye and knew she didn't really want to go through with it. They all knew she felt she had no choice.

"Some closest to the family feel this isn't Kim definitely calling it quits, this is more a strategic move to make Kanye wake-up and see that he could lose her if she doesn't change."

The insider continued: "She wants him to step up and be the husband and father she is asking him to be. "But sadly, the bold move doesn't seem to be getting the response she was hoping for.

"Kanye is apparently telling friends Kim is bluffing about the divorce and that their marriage isn't really over. Kim is infuriated.

"She felt he would take it seriously and instead he is confiding in friends he knows what she is up to.

"Kanye shares everything with his entourage of childhood friends and he talks to his own family for support. They are his biggest support through difficult times, they all stand behind him.

A source told The Sun: "Friends have been told that the final straw came when Kim and Kanye were making family summer plans and they couldn't agree."

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's daughter, Kiki has urged business owners to be very careful and alert when they let in clients into their stores.

Kiki Osinbajo went on to share the video of a woman who pretended to be a buyer and stole N50k from another client who was buying items from her shop.

In the video the Vice President's daughter shared, the woman was seen ordering for clothes which she used in covering up the purse of another client she stole. When busted, she reportedly demanded for search on everyone in the business premises.

It was also learnt that the woman had also stolen from another person few months back.

Mya Yafai, Young Ma's ex-girlfriend and lady who Davido was spotted holding hands with at St. Maarten in United States, visited him in Nigeria in December and also spent some time with him in Ghana in January.

During that time, Ghanaian music star Stonebwoy shot "Activate" music video with Davido.

In the video shared on Instagram by Mya, she was spotted having fun with Davido and his crew, flew his private jet and also had his song "Holy Ground" in which he featured Nicki Minaj playing in the background.
